This place is so dirty and filthy every time I'm here. This location is wayyy more expensive than Thousand Oaks(which is way cleaner and never has an area closed except the slide) . There is always an area closed... the top jumping area has been closed over a month. But the rugs are dirty the floors are filthy. The basketball court has dirt all over it. It's rather gross. The zip line was closed, the obstacle course was deflated and the trampoline was ripped in the corners. I went to the bathroom and there was waste on the walls and floors. I brought my kids to Sky Zone expecting a fun family outing, but our experience was completely ruined by one of the leads named Jaden. From the start, she was extremely rude to me and others around us as well. Instead of creating a welcoming environment, she made us feel unwanted and uncomfortable, almost like she was determined to spread her bad mood to everyone else. What made it worse was how at ease she seemed with this behavior. No one stepped in to correct her or remind her how customers should be treated; in fact, it felt like others were supporting her attitude rather than addressing it. That kind of conduct from a lead sets a terrible example for the rest of the staff. Families come here to have fun, but Jaden's attitude completely overshadowed the experience. Management really needs to look into how she interacts with guests, because the way she treated us was unacceptable. read more

The only reason I'm not giving it a single star is because my son enjoyed it (back when he used to go), but after 3 months of him not going back, I tried, numerous times, to cancel my monthly membership to no avail. Finally, after countless annoying emails to different representatives, my membership was finally canceled. It honestly soured what was otherwise a decent time when my sons went. And if the customer experience was better, I would have honestly considered signing up again. BEWARE OF THE MEMBERSHIP. They make it frustratingly difficult to cancel it once your card is linked to it. And forget about trying to reach a live representative. Came here for a kid's birthday party. This place is, in a word, chaotic. When arriving, the parking lot is chaos. Parking across the street says "no parking" but tons of cars park there. We didn't want to risk it so parked a health walk away. Entering the building, there was a line. Why, I do not know. When we got in, the parents of the bday girl were trying to corral all guests so we could go upstairs together to check in. It didn't seem like much help was provided from the staff for birthday parties. Once checked in, the kids go to jump. There are about 10 birthday parties happening at the same time, plus kids of just come to play so there are TONS of people. Not all sections were working. After 2 hours of jumping, we went to one of the rooms and the kids had pizzas and drinks. This was better since it was our own room with a balcony overlooking the chaos, but still loud. Second review! Came in and didn't know it was Glow Night/Day so we had to purchase special shirts. Associate said I can bring them the next glow event and not have to repurchase shirts. It was fun to see all the glowing colors but of course it's super dark in every area of the trampoline park except the arcade maybe making things slightly more dangerous. My daughter hurt herself a couple times and an associate did check on us which was nice. If you are bringing younger elem school children, be careful on EVERYTHING in EVERY zone!!! Yikes. I am extremely disappointed with the service and management at SkyZone during my nephew's birthday celebration. Due to internal scheduling issues, our party room was provided later than promised; however, despite starting late, staff entered the room early and began cleaning before our allotted time had ended, cutting the celebration short. This demonstrated poor management, lack of coordination, and insufficient staff training. Unfortunately, the situation escalated when the manager ( a young guy which I didn't even get his name but for sure call today and figure that out)intervened in an unprofessional and unacceptable manner. Instead of calmly resolving the issue, he was rude, aggressive, and raised his voice, even threatening to call the police--behavior that is completely inappropriate, especially during a children's birthday party. Several guests were embarrassed, and most concerning, the children--including my nephew--were visibly upset and frightened by the confrontation. A manager should demonstrate maturity, professionalism, and de-escalation skills, particularly when guests are rightfully frustrated after paying for a service that was not delivered as promised. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever encountered, and I will not be returning. I strongly believe this incident reflects serious leadership issues that should be addressed. I wanna even contact the owner of this company thats how upset they made us feel. No longer fun for drop offs only for subscribers and groups. I realize that they make most their money off groups and their new subscription plan. However this used to be a really fun experience for beating the summer heat on a whim. Today after waiting for an hour to get in we just left. My kid asked if we could go and I thought it would be a great thing to do. Got there at 11 and it's closed for a public event till 12, no big whatever, so we went to a nearby mall and killed an hour got back and it was now open. Wait a little bit because the members take precedence when I found I need to update my waiver. Step out of line and update via phone (cause you can no longer do it at the desk). And BAM a summer camp comes. There are 4 open registers and they have stopped serving anyone but the camp so we patiently wait for the camp to get checked in. 30 minutes in the camp is still not checked in but some body has the sense that hey we have to open at least one line for the drop ins and now the membership line is backed out the door. I ask since we had been here for 40 minutes (technically we have been waiting for 2 hours at this point, if it is possible to get checked in they say they have to give priority to the members. My kid is being patient but at this point the whim is gone so we left. The staff were very gracious but clearly they have the directive that drop ins are not where they make their money so they shouldn't be treated as valuable to them. read more

It was my nephew's birthday party at Sky Zone and the experience was completely unacceptable and disappointing. Our reserved party room was given to us later than the time promised, and despite that delay, we were then asked to leave earlier than our scheduled time, which makes no sense considering we already lost time. To make matters worse, a very unprofessional staff member who was minor as well came to our room without permission and started "cleaning up" and threw away our personal bags without permission. This was shocking and disrespectful. When we complained about that she started to make a false claim about being hurt by the party host, which never happened and it was a big lie. Then two other staff came in and instead of handling the situation calmly or professionally, and instead of apologizing, one rude manager approached us yelling and aggressively told us to leave, threatening to call the police. This was extremely inappropriate, especially at a children's birthday party. As a result, the kids attending the party, especially the birthday boy became stressed, scared, and emotionally upset. What was supposed to be a fun celebration turned into a frightening experience, and their special day was completely ruined with a very negative memory. Plus the facility ( specially our reserved room and the restrooms) were VERY dirty. For the high cost, this experience was not worth it at all. Between the poor organization, lack of respect, false accusations, and hostile management, this was one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. My son's birthday party at Sky Zone Van Nuys was booked from 1:15 PM to 4:15 PM (3 hours). Prior to the event, I received two phone calls instructing me to arrive 30 minutes early (12:45 PM) to set up. I arrived around 1:00 PM, only to be told by the manager that the party room was not ready and that my guests, including children, had to wait outside. We were not allowed into the room until around 1:40 PM, significantly cutting into the party time we paid for. Despite losing time due to Sky Zone's delay, I was still told we must leave the room by 4:15 PM, with no adjustment or compensation. Around 4:00 PM, while we were still in the room and before our scheduled end time, several untrained teenage staff members entered without any notice and began cleaning. During this process, they threw away our packed food without permission. When we questioned why staff were cleaning early, our party host searched through the trash for the missing item, then left the room and shifted blame onto us instead of taking responsibility. Shortly afterward, an unknown male staff member arrived with a female manager and began yelling at me aggressively, refusing to let me explain. His behavior was hostile, intimidating, and completely inappropriate--especially in front of children. My brother intervened only because the staff member was yelling at me, and the staff member then told my brother to "get out." In addition, items that were included in our paid party package were never provided. We did not receive the water bottles or the stickers that were supposed to be included, and no one addressed or corrected this oversight. This entire situation caused my son and the other children to become frightened and upset, and they said they did not want to return. I contacted Sky Zone multiple times afterward to request the name of the aggressive male staff member, but management claimed they did not know who he was, which raises serious concerns about accountability. I will note that the female manager was polite and professional, but the overall handling of this event was unacceptable. Corporate management should be aware of: Party room not ready on time Loss of paid party time with no compensation Unauthorized disposal of food and personal property Missing party package items (water bottles and stickers) Aggressive and inappropriate staff behavior Lack of accountability and follow-up Until serious improvements are made in management oversight and staff training, I strongly advise against booking birthday parties at Sky Zone Van Nuys. read more

Went for a kid's birthday party. This time wasn't nearly as bad as last time we went. The party started at 10:30 which was nice because it wasn't too crowded. Around 12 though it started to get packed so we left at 12:30 before it got any more crowded. The family hosting the party brought their own pizza and drinks so can't speak to Skysone's food. We did hit the snack bar for water and Icee's. Just like last time some things were unavailable or not working eh the waters were room temperature even though they were in the fridge and they didn't have cherry Icee. Didn't have to visit the restrooms so can't speak to that. One thing that bothers me when visiting here are the adults who choose to jump around. Some of them have 0 awareness. I saw adults bumping in to kids, knocking them down. Saw 1 grown man in the dodgeball area just pelting little kids with the balls. This is not the place. It took us 45 minutes just to locate parking today, but it's always a hard thing to find when coming to Skyzone. Save your money. The games do not work half the time and the place is poorly taken care off. From the minute you walk in it just looks filthy. Looks unsanitary every visit we've been here. Every time we come we say it will be the last, but we were invited to. Birthday party, so we went. Today was the last time we will visit this establishment as our grandma had her car towed. Yup you heard that right after looking for parking forever our poor grandma had cars towed because they said it was employee parking , but there was no sign on her stall. So not only did we spend money inside now we have to help her pay the $300 bucks to get the car back since she's retired and when we called the towing said they were closed.
