me and a friend (2 thirty year olds) showed up on a friday night. it was glo night. tickets were about $30 EACH and we had to buy our glow t shirts separately. i forgot the cost but i know it was overpriced. total shouldn't have been that much for a trampoline experience. inside the venue, there were really cool interactive areas to play, run, jump and just explore with my friend. i wish there were more adults or there was an adult concept of this bc we were surrounded by kids and had to be careful and respectful of families. still a fun time, got a workout and might come back with a bigger group of friends. would be a cool date night read more

Threw a party here and went with the 10 jumper package with party room. Nowhere in my very detailed emailed did it say the party came with a host (I brought my own food). To my surprise we had a host there helping with food and cake. Then at the end they asked for a tip. Of course I tipped as I didn't want to screw over our host but long story short this place is very overpriced and then on top of it all a tip was expected and no one warned me of it. I would have considered this as I budgeted out the party. I complained later and they did nothing about it and didn't acknowledge at all that this was poor communication. Honestly is always hot and stuffy every time we take our kids. We have the membership and I'm going to cancel because of that. We also told one of the workers to tell her manager and her response was that some people complained about being too cold, don't believe me come check it out for yourself and that's that my wife and me don't even jump. We've been to this Sky Zone for birthday parties and just for good ol' fun. The place is big enough to keep them busy for hours. There's so many activities to do. They love jumping into the foam area and the trampoline. They like feeling like they're running up walls. They like the joust activity where they stand on kind of a balance beam and try to knock each other off with the padded stick (whatever it's called). The party rooms are a lot of fun. I had my sons 6th birthday party here and it was a disaster!!! The staff is extremely rude and cold and there is lack of communication. First off there was no parking. When I arrived one hour before the party, the room was not set up as planned. During the party the host disappeared and never retuned to refill our pitchers. She horded the water bottles that I paid for and some guest didn't get theirs. While enjoying my sons cake and icecream I was approached about settling my bill which had already been paid in full!! My son was never given the birthday shirt and crown that was to be given to him before the party. We had to ask for it after the party was over or he never would have gotten one . I came here for a bday party 2 weeks ago. I have to say I was blown away how cool and organized this place was. I have gone to other trampoline venues and they were boring. I love that they have closed off private party rooms, they offer a good variety of items to choose from. The party hosts were absolutely fantastic and so friendly. Jasmine and Isaac were so awesome. I didn't even know they were part of the party event. They were supervising the kids in the jump center and I happened to talk to each one individuallly. They were so kind and just really answered my questions. This is a big place!! They have trampolines free jump, bball hoops, obstacle courses, zip line, arcade games, dodgeball and so much more. They also offer no slip socks to the party guests. My son had a blast and I felt very safe here. They really take safety here seriously which I appreciate. The party was a lot of fun and I have to thank Jasmine and Isaac for being so professional and great party coordinators. Will definitely look into coming back. They are in the industrial area behind Hayvenhurst. Fun place to throw a party. My only cons Domino's Pizza not sure if they only order through Domino's but not a fan of it. AC wasn't working, and they still kept the place open while it was extremely hot and overcrowded (the outside temp was 97F) Kids are jumping on top of each other! SkyZone Van Nuys is a total assault on the senses but it's amazing. Their staff is incredible. Come here to jump and that's it. The kitchen is the absolute worst. The employees spend all their time talking to each other and only stop to take orders. They forget about orders because they are not paying attention and not focusing on their work. Even the "higher management" (wear black shirts) spend their time gossiping in the back. When you ask for food updates, they say "5 more minutes" and in reality it's more than 10 because they forgot about the order since they were talking. The eating area is horrendous. Idk if it's gnats or mosquitoes but bugs flying around everywhere. It's filthy with food and sticky stuff everywhere. Then when you voice your concern to a "manager" they say the food taking long is not their problem, it's just the way the kitchen is. Take a course on customer service, thanks. EDIT: They did forget about our food because when we asked how much longer, they looked around and found the receipts off to the side. I think people should join forces and initiate a class action lawsuit against this place for fraudulent practices. We had a play date scheduled @ sky zone today. I tried getting tix last night but the website kept reloading so I figured it would be ok since I planned to be there early anyway. We get there and do the waiver and then they tell us the place is at max capacity (at 10:30 am) even though my friend entered 5 mins before and it was NOT at max capacity 5 mins ago. They apparently decided it was sold out BUT don't worry because you can get a membership and for some reason the space isn't too full if you get the membership but it's full if you want the standard pass! Does this sound fishy to anyone else? This is one tactic they're using to get people to sign up for a membership and pressure them and I'm sure yoube read the horror stories on here about how Impossible it is to cancel your membership! I was not going to deal with the headache that followed from getting the membership so we spoke with the manager who was rude and abrasive and couldn't explain to me how my friends entered 5 mins prior and how it's not full if I got the membership but it's full when I only wanted the standard pass. I think this place needs to be investigated for fraud especially as so many people shared how they sign up people for membership without their consent or knowledge and then have issues trying to cancel it. In the interest of fairness and ... the law, I may actually report them to the consumer agencies. This isn't right. We thankfully went somewhere else and had a blast. I have left several phone messages, finally got an email yesterday morning containing unreadable potential timeframes, chose one after deciphering them and emailed back swiftly saying which date I preferred and asking if I could please pay the deposit so I can send out the invitations, that was yesterday morning. Not sure why it's taken me so long to do a review after coming here with my family countless times over the past few years but better late than never I guess haha My family and I came in yesterday after school for some quick jumping around after school. And after this last year and a half we all have had, it felt good being there with somewhat normalcy in the world. Like always we had a real good time and got a good sweat on which is always a plus coming here. And since we came on a Tuesday afternoon, had no issues or waiting for parking. This review is really to point out the really good customer service we have always gotten. From the food stand clerk our last visit to yesterday's visit. Yesterday my son hurt his arm a little while playing in the basketball section and his forearms were then cramping on him. So we were kind of on the side with him doing what we can to rub out any tightening he might have had. Then after circling around us a young man approached us to ask if everything was fine. I told him everything was fine and thank you for asking. Then he came back and offered to grab us an ice bag for my son's arm. After I said yes to the offer and he brought it to us, he was very polite and offered any further assistance if needed. Then sometime later right before we left while my son was fine and back playing dodge ball, that same young man then approached me again asking if my son was fine. My girlfriend and I told him what had happened and of course made sure to thank him and let him know we had acknowledged and appreciated not only him helping earlier but then coming back and checking up. I had to ask what his name was of course for a shout out and with the hopes of not getting it wrong, his name was Jaylen. (I'm bad at names sometimes haha) Of course that wasn't a big deal but my girlfriend and I thought it was very sweet and fantastic customer service. Which is why we keep returning to this location. Of the few we have been to, this one definitely has the best. So with that said yeah, this is our favorite location and I of course recommend them for your family fun including parties. read more
