Cool place. Came for a party here. It did not disappoint. I thought staff was helpful but hardly around. Kids enjoyed themselves and I really liked the amount of separated spaces. With having a smaller child this was helpful for him to have a less crowded space he could enjoy. The hostess was kind and extremely helpful to the family. This is a nice place to take the kids during the winter when its cold. The prices are a bit more reasonable than other similar places and very reasonable if you get a good deal on membership. This was my 2nd visit here and the kids really had a great time . I found a Groupon that was 4 passes for 90mins and 4 pairs of socks . I took my youngest daughter and her BFFs for her bday . They had a blast and I never realized how big the trampoline areas were. Between the foam pit, basketball, dodgeball are and a few other open trampoline areas . For what I paid with the groupon it was definitely worth it and would definitely come back when they have deals . The line was a bit long when trying to get socks and register. Yesterday at my son's birthday party I brought in homemade cupcakes and was promptly told by the manager and staff that not only could I not serve them at my child's party but that they needed to be removed from the building because they posed a "health hazard". I make excellent food for my family and friends and did not appreciate being insulated in this way, especially after booking a $700 party with them. During two telephone conversations this week with a Sky Zone representative, I was informed that no outside food would be allowed except cake or cupcakes. Absolutely no mention was made to me that the cake could not be homemade. When discussing this with the manager he insulted me again by insinuating that I WAS told that homemade cupcakes were not allowed and that I was "remembering it wrong". No, I was NEVER told that. Nor is this policy stated on their website. (I have hosted parties at Top Golf where they DO clearly state on their website that homemade cakes are not allowed, which is fine.) Many of the other parents in our group were mortified by the behavior of the manager as well. Sky Zone, you have lost not only a customer in me but also in several other parents who witnessed this who might have otherwise booked their own parties there. Shame on you.  The manager behaved in an extraordinarily unprofessional manner and could benefit from some courses in proper customer service. On the upside, my son did have fun but was sad when we didn't get to eat his cupcakes at his party. Instead we had to hand them out to the children at our car afterwards which was a total let-down.  The manager did offer to remedy the situation by getting a cake from Shoprite AT MY EXPENSE, or I could cancel the party with no refund of my deposit, telling me  this after the children had already checked in and were excited to be there. REALLY??? No thanks. DO NOT host a party at this establishment. Take your hard earned money elsewhere. read more

Found this new location of sky zone from a groupon advertisement. Normally my family and I would go the Allendale location (also on groupon) but we figured let's give the new location. First, parking is available in the back of the facility and the entrance is at the side of the building. As soon as you enter the facility, you're asked to sign a liability waiver, which is similar to all jumps elsewhere. Then, we head over to the cashiers where they provide you the sky zone socks (included in groupon deal). We came here on Saturday at 11am and there were kids but it was crowded. There are 3 dodge courts which two were closed so only 1 was operable. My husband wants to join our almost 10 years old son in a game but the employee didn't allow him. No adults are allowed to play when the kids are in the same court. While it's understandable that we don't want to accidentally hurt the kids, the employee should have opened up another court for the adults to play. We pay for admission too so why not! In the free jump, there's about 8 aisles for people to jump. Apparently, you can not jump near your kids. The adults must jump in the two farthest left aisle. This didn't make sense at all. The whole trampoline is on pegs and the weight jumped should be evenly distributed. Smh. Unfortunately, we thought this location operates and services their customers similar to other sky zones location, so we bought a few groupon tickets for prior to this experience. It's such a big disappointment and also knowing we need to come back soon to use the rest of our tickets :( read more

There was a Groupon since this location is a newly opened one. We have previously went to the Allendale location before this one and thought to give it a shot. The parking lot was a bit of a strange setup as you drive through the back of the building and then proceed back towards the front. When you first walk in you would have to sign the waivers and its done electronically. We arrived around 10:45am, so the cashier told us to start for the 11am which we did. I guess they like to start half hours or on the hour which is fine. We had to wait till 11am, although I wish they would just let us in soon as as when your ready. It wasn't that busy, but there was a birthday party going on. There is a free jump area, basketball jump, foam pit, and 3 dodge ball areas. During the free jump the workers said the adults could not be in the middle and we have to move to the side with our kids. I was asked to take off my hat as well. Really? I'm not an 8 year old that lose my hat and just leave it there. I went back to put my hat away then my 10 year son want to play dodge ball with a group of other kids already playing. I took him to the court and an employee started forming the teams. I went to join my son and she told me that I could not play because there's no other adult so I couldn't play. Come on, I wouldn't been rough on the kids if that's what they were thinking. The rest of the time I was just watching my kids play. They should have opened another court that teens and adults could play. We would have joined that group if anything. The two other dodge ball courts were empty and not being used. So my wife and I wasted our money buying the tickets so we can watch our kids and could not join them. Overall, this place has many rules that you could not enjoy being able to play with your kids here. The Allandale location did not have all these restrictions. Although I understand there are rules, but you should accommodate people who are playing or paying as well. For instance opened another court since you have 2 others. The place itself is fun. Plenty of space and area to jump. However, the service is horrible. We have a birthday party booked there and arrived few minutes early as they suggested to check in. There was only 1 person working at the check in desk. Waited at least 15-20mins just to get to our turn. Normally you would have a party host help you throughout your event. One guy said he was our party hose but he was never around to help. Told you can bring in balloons, banner etc they will help decorate party room for you. We ended up needed to do it all ourselves. No one help set up party favors either. Ordered extra pizza ahead of time with them days prior, was told they didn't see that. So while kids were eating pizza adults have to wait another 15 mins for them to make the missing pizzas. No staff in the trampoline area either to oversee the place. I really had fun, but the whole back section of the place reeked of marijuana. I went into the women's restroom to wash my hands and a group of girls, around twelve, were all passing around a weed pen. The whole room was smokey and gross. A younger girl, she looked eight, was complaining of the smell, and that her stomach hurt. It really broke my heart. I couldn't snitch on them because one: I'm not a snitch; and two: I don't think it is really their fault, because where are the parents? So, nothing was done about it, and it was just gross. I was very excited to try out SkyZone after visiting Rebounderz - Edison. I was hoping that it would offer a similar experience but I was fairly disappointed as to how this place turned out. The staff was very friendly to us for our visit. This 2 star review is mainly for what SkyZone has to offer after we paid for our admission. After browsing online on SkyZone's webpage, I had in mind that they were going to have some obstacle courses such as the giant wall you could run up against. However, to my surprise we were only greeted with a small obstacle course, 2 dodgeball courts (1 for children, and one for older people), foam court, and main court. The section near the lockers and picnic area was completely empty. I can't help but feel as if I was being cheated for the price that I paid for (26$ total): (22$ admission + 4$ socks). I like the foam pit and basketball area. The foam pit, just jump until you are ready to take a plunge in the foam. The basketball area...make the best slam dunk. After you are done jumping around. Not what I expected at all...we have gone to different trampoline parks in the past and were really excited about this one. I had purchased a groupon for this trip so that my son and his friend could enjoy 180 minutes of jump time however when we got there we were told that the Glow jump had ended and they could not accommodate the purchase. FYI...the groupon does not specify any time frame...so disappointed we purchased a groupon for regular jumps only to be told that it didnt include socks as the groupon indicated. They have 5 trampoline spots to jump of which 3 were closed off. It was empty and unnecessarily cold. We bought food and instantly regretted it. Food was expensive and cold. My daughter dislocated her knee at this sky zone. Her patella shifted 90 degrees to the side of her leg. She was in excruciating pain. Nobody working their knew how to handle the situation. Nobody secured the area. Kids continued to bounce near her, causing her body to move and creating more pain. The workers kept asking her what she wanted them to do as she screamed in pain. It wasn't until she screamed "cam 911" that any of them did anything. Ambulance came and brought her to the hospital, where she endured more excruciating pain as two doctors forced her knee back in place. Not one manager called over the next few days to inquire about her health. I called to ask for their incident report. I was told that the owner would call me back. They request was made two days ago. I still haven't heard from him. The workers at this skyzone are inept and unprofessional. Don't expect that they have your child's best interest in mind. read more

I went with a group of 24 of all ages. at 11 am on a Saturday and used a groupon. We jumped for an hour and everyone enjoyed it. Employees are strict, but because they care about safety. I recommend everyone taking a water bottle because kids tend to get really dehydrated. They also have few arcade games which are cool. I recommend dodgeball and air basketball for sure! Have been here several times. The kids that are supposed to be supervising the various areas either do not care or are incapable of enforcing the rules of the facility. Parents of very young children do nothing to stop their children from cutting lines or running across trampoline areas and jumping on any square they feel like. All while the "team members" sit and watch. Then there are the parents who did not pay to jump who walk out onto the trampolines and jump, again while "team members" stand by and watch. Today there was a woman with regular socks and no jump sticker with a baby strapped to her chest jumping on a trampoline with a staff member standing next to her. Only when a few blue shirts came onto the large area of trampolines did the team members finally start watching and enforcing the rules. The few times I have been her with my kids I have seen some collisions and minor injuries. If Sky Zone is serious about safety they should ensure the rules are enforced and that they hire staff that is capable of enforcing them. I understand it is a difficult job for kids but safety is being compromised. Eject a few people and I'm sure others will begin following the rules. read more

This rating is based solely from attendance at a birthday party. Sky Zone appears to be a clean and well run facility, plus the staff is friendly and helpful. I was also impressed with the way the staff kept control of the jumping areas as I had heard of issues at other trampoline facilities where adults and children were mixed in, creating a potentially hazardous situation. This did not seem to be an issue at Sky Zone. The birthday party group had a dedicated jump area which was nice because on the weekends Sky Zone is very busy and crowded. But the kids could also roam around to try the other areas such as the foam pit, dodge ball, etc. One hour of jump time seemed more than enough, then we were ushered to a pleasant party area for the final hour. There is plenty of seating for adults. The jumping area itself is a big open space with various sections so it's a slightly different concept than at the jumpy places where birthday parties are usually the only group in a given room. However this seems to work since as I mentioned, the birthday group gets its own dedicated and private jumping area for the hour, then a dedicated party area for refreshments. We would like to try again, perhaps at a less prime time so it's less crowded. I would recommend Sky Zone to others as well. read more

This facility is not safe. I took my 9 year old to jump and he tried three of the areas, the foam pit, dodgeball and the regular area of trampolines. NONE of these were supervised. I saw maybe two young employees leaning against the rails, looking bored out of their minds, just gazing around. Kids were running all over the trampolines and not waiting for any sort of turn. In dodgeball, my son was hit hard in the face. When I spoke to the manager, she was very sweet and listened but when she went up to talk to her staff, she didn't find any. She mentioned that the minors were on break and that they are understaffed. Then all areas shouldn't be open. It was chaos. I will say that it was easy to check in and the food area was very clean. We'll try another jump place next time but it's sad, I don't remember Sky Zone being like this. read more

Another False advertisement as expected I guess. This is the 2nd time this has happened at the South Plainfield location. Their phone message states they are open on New Year's Day (January 1. 2019) from 12-8pm. I Walked in at 6pm with 2 Groupon passes for 90 minutes. The team members said they could only honor 60 minutes and the other 30 minutes would simply be wasted because they were "closing early" What?? They refused to give me credit for 2(30 minute) passes, which every other Skyzone normally does. EVERY SINGLE team member including the manager went in the back and did not come out for a 1/2 hour, at least. They said they were "on the phone with the owner, Elliott" who did not have a last name. My 2.5 year old daughter loves coming here and I'm not gonna lie; I enjoy going with her. I believe this is the closest Sky Zone to where we live in Branchburg. It's in an industrial / warehouse park and relatively easy to find, about 5 minutes off 287. We get the hour pass to jump and there are a number of different areas - foam pit, basketball area, dodgeball area and a free jump area. The only complaint I have is that parents can't jump with their children in the free jump area, even within their own space. It kind of defeats the purpose, in my opinion. I'm not sure how good of a deal it is because it's the only trampoline park I've been to. Fair warning - if you are planning on jumping for an hour, it's a good workout (i.e. you will be sweating). It'd also be a pretty idea spot to have a kid's b-day party. I am sure we will be back. read more

We had a terrible experience today with my daughter's 6th birthday party. The kids had fun, but this mom was angry. It started with the party coordinator not coming to get the kids and I had to ask for someone to start our party twice. So we were now running 10 minutes late. The party coordinator did NOT speak to the kids. He led them to a massive space filled with what appeared to be, beyond capacity crowds. There were sometimes 6 children jumping on one small trampoline and none of the employees seemed to care. My 3 year old was jumping and a teenager began jumping next to her and almost really hurt her. It was extremely hot inside the entire complex (at least 85 degrees), as well. Everyone was uncomfortable. It was almost impossible to get to the snack stand for drinks, to the point where I had to bring my own water in from the car. The group was (sort of) led to the party room after an hour (though I did all the work because as I said the party coordinator did nothing.) They brought out only 2 of the 4 pizzas we ordered on time and they only brought pitchers of water even after I reminded them that we ordered other drinks as well. I hope you have a better experience if you go to Sky Zone, South Plainfield, but between the safety issues, heat, and terrible staff that worked there we will certainly not be back. read more
