This is a criminal organization. I called from out of state to have a good running car transferred. I paid in advance for a vehicle to be towed from a private location to a dealership to be sold. When they learned I was looking to sell the vehicle they offered to purchase from me. When I politely declined their low ball offer they then refused to deliver to the car dealership and instead told me they would hold it at their impound lot until I was able to personally pick up. I had to fly in from out of state and upon arriving at the lot they tried to extort more money from me for "additional services" then proceeded to illegally detain me and my other vehicle inside their lot to force payment. They were telling me ,they will tow my car if I won't move it from the "customer " parking ,because needed for their car to advertise the business. After waiting for AAA Roadside Assistance for nearly 6 hours on the side of the road on 5-95 during afternoon and evening rush hour(not safe), AAA advised that the tow truck service they contracted with did not have a flatbed truck available and I needed to get my own tow truck. Seriously??? 9:15pm!! They couldn't have told me that 6 hours ago??? I have been a loyal AAA member since 2002. So I googled and found Steve at Sky Towing. He was there to help me within 20 mins. The tow truck driver was amazing, extremely helpful however the "owner" is horrible. His name is Ben, if that's even true because when I asked for a manager he said they wouldn't be available until the next day just to follow up with saying he's the owner. So who knows if he's the owner or not or if his name is even Ben. For someone who's been there since "2003" you'd think he'd know how to talk to people. If I could give less than one star for just him alone, I would. The night my car was towed he made a mistake and charged me twice, I called back as soon as I saw it and was told he would refund it and send me a copy of the receipt. I figured it was just a hold and one of the charges would drop. 2 days later both posted to my account and when I spoke with him in regards to the refund he stated he would call me back. After I called 3 times he finally told me he couldn't see it and that I had to dispute it. He never once said that in the 3 calls that were made. I understand mistakes happen but he never apologized for his errors and on top of that played the victim and said I was calling him a thief over "only $180". Normally I would wait a couple of days but if he's lying this much after 2, imagine a week from now he would pretend he knows nothing about this even though he is the only person that answers the phone when you call. He never emailed me the proof that he was emailing his main office like he said he would and I have had to make unnecessary trips to my bank for a mistake that he made. An apology would've sufficed in this situation but this disrespectful man even made it sound as though it's my fault he can't see the duplicate charge. Horrible company. read more

It was on a night when there was no more gas at any station for miles (the night before Hurricane Matthew hit), a very nice driver came with a few gallons of gas. THANK YOU! I recommend Sky towing service. At first I had called a different company in Davie area they quoted me 150 dollars for the same tow compared to 80 dollar quote Sky Towing game me. They arrived in timely manner. I changed my mind and asked if they could jump start my car and they did for 50 dollars. Than I received a follow up phone call on how the service was. Here's a bit of a background story. 3 months ago I bought a 2nd vehicle to move around with while my husband uses our main car to go to work. We bought it cash as it was meant to be used to do errands and so on. The people we bought it from are mechanics who told us how they redid everything on the vehicle and that it's good to go! (enter side eye here) Since I was referred to them from a relative who used and trusted them in the past, i figured okay. Couple weeks ago, i was on my way to a yelp event and i completely broke down with no warning. No smoke, no weird noises, nothing. My vehicle just completely died on me just like that. =(After much back and forth with the seller, i soon realized that this purchase was a bad one and I felt completely discouraged and disappointed not mention mad as hell. But hey, I'm sure i am not the first or last person to be in a messed up situation like this. (at least that's what my mother told me) Fast forward to my current dilemma...What am i going to do with a vehicle that is completely damaged? Do i pay to fix it, even though id probably end up paying twice as much i paid for it and risk something else "mysteriously" going wrong, only after months, or do i just accept my lost and move on? After days of crying and moping around (i loved this vehicle even if it turned out that it wasn't perfect) i decided i wasn't going to let the seller just have it so that he can "junk" it or do with it as he pleases, so i called around looking for a junk yard. If anyone was going to do it, it would be me. After calling around, i just wasn't happy with the first 3 places i called. Luckily i came upon a number that directed me straight to Sky Towing. They asked me a few questions over the phone about the make and model of my vehicle and also what was wrong with it. I was very honest in all my details and was offered a decent price for it! After setting up an appointment, i received a call from, i believe his name was Jerry, and he let me know he'd be there in about 30 minutes. Sadden and filled with anxiety to bid my farewell, i kept my eye on the clock. To my surprise, he reached us in about 20 minutes time! He came over and greeted us and asked me to verify what was wrong with it and what price was i told. After filling him in on my vehicles issues, he realized he was unaware of some of the details and had to make a few calls to verify what was going on. He didn't seem to like being on the phone while we waited on him and i heard him even saying a few times to the person on the phone, that he doesn't like having to make these people wait. I told him it was fine, and that i was in no rush. While he waited for a response, he let me know what was going on in the mean time. He told me that certain engines and other issues play a big roll when junking your car for cash and that the person at the office didn't advise him on one of the issues with my vehicle. He sternly let them know again that he didn't like having his customers waiting and that he needed an answer now. No sooner he had his answer and was off the phone. It honestly didn't take longer than maybe 5 minutes tops but he seemed like a person who knows his job and how to get in, get it done and get out. He gave us so much info on what was going on with my vehicle and even gave me advice on what kind and where to get another car in the future. For a straight up person, he was very soft spoken with me and it was almost like he knew i sad to see my vehicle go. His customer service was OUTSTANDING. He gave me cash in my hand and asked me if i was satisfied with this deal. He asked me a few times if i had any other questions and took his time explaining everything and any thing i asked him. He gave me a business card and wished us a great day and good luck. If it wasn't for the way he handled this (in my case a sensitive situation) i probably wouldn't have even bothered to review them. But he completely stood out to me. I am so grateful for your kind words and encouragement. I honestly i took a loss and never expected that id receive anything for it at that point but every penny counts and id be damned if i ever let that seller get another cent from me. I tried to purchase a car from this place and the manager was very rude and made me and my dad wait for almost an hour while we were looking for my car and then got mad at us when we didn't feel safe when he wanted us to pay for the car with cash only to not get the car then and there not only this but in the hour we waited my dad lost work.
