I went in not knowing how I'd feel about the place and walked out a full-blown member. I can be really sensitive to scents, so I love and appreciate how natural all of their products smell. I was also a little worried about the "shared room" concept, but meanwhile I felt like I was alone on a beach somewhere beautiful and on vacation. They do such a great job with the white noise too -- actual relaxing waves crashing on a beach, not the annoying kind lol. When I called last night, I spoke with someone who was so sweet and helpful (I wish I got her name), and she answered all of my questions. Then today for my appointment, I was greeted by Ky, who helped me sign up for the membership at the end. I swear everyone here just has this warm, kind, welcoming energy to them, which is so important for a place like this I can't wait to come back!

Requesting deep tissue massage is definitely the way to go if you need some serious de-knotting, but be prepared for some heavy duty massaging! It really made my neck feel better, especially with the help of the tiger balm (which smells excellent as well- basically an added aromatherapy). I usually ask that no one cracks my spine on purpose because it scares me, and they are always respectful of that. It's a really relaxing experience and I feel my money definitely goes the furthest here. I tried another thai massage spot to compare and it was extremely lackluster. The only downside (which isn't actually consistent but frequently is true): Sawasdee is located above a smoothie spot (which is an amazing treat after the massage) but this means that you hear blending and country music at random times during the massage. It's something you can tune out because of how good the massage feels, but it's also something I wish I could just fix with (probably a very expensive) noise insulating renovation. One day! I recommend taking the time to ask what the different massage styles entail and then making your choice. These ladies take reservations on the same day, and often even accommodate to our needs (adding more masseuses to their schedule on short notice). We appreciate this team VERY much, and look forward to coming back soon.

You can really tell someone put a lot of careful thought and consideration into curating this space. Even the design choices put you at ease. In addition to the services they offer, there's a backyard type area with a sauna and some seating area. It would be a great place to spend a few hours relaxing and decompressing. I booked a massage with scalp rejuvenation. I'm not one for deep tissue so I asked my masseuse to go pretty light and she was excellent. It was one of those massages where it ends and it felt like only a few minutes. Ugh, so good. This is such a special place, I highly recommend you book a service here to relax and renew.

I really reflected on my experience at Wrens before deciding to write this review because I…read moregenuinely did not want to leave a negative one. Unfortunately, for the amount I spent and the quality of the experience I received, I felt like I needed to share it. I came here as a birthday experience and had really high hopes. The sauna and ice bath portion was actually great and probably the best part of my visit. Unfortunately, the one-hour massage was extremely disappointing. My total ended up being around $319 after everything, which made the overall value feel even worse considering how unhappy I was with the massage. I booked a lymphatic/Brazilian lymphatic massage and expected a much more effective and intentional treatment, especially for nearly $200. Instead, the massage was so gentle that I actually found myself feeling more stressed than relaxed. A lot of it felt like very light surface-level rubbing on my arms and legs. I have had several lymphatic massages before, so I had something to compare this experience to, and unfortunately this was by far my least enjoyable one. My massage therapist was Brittany, and I personally did not feel that the technique matched the quality I would expect at this price point. The wooden rollers used during the Brazilian lymphatic portion were also applied so lightly that I barely felt like they were doing anything. The gua sha portion on my face was disappointing as well. When she was using two gua sha tools at the same time, the movements felt mismatched and uncoordinated, to the point where it did not feel effective at all. It came across as very minimal effort. At one point, a hot towel was placed on me that was hot enough to make my body flinch. I immediately said that it was too hot, and what bothered me was that there was no apology or acknowledgment afterward. It is rare for me to spend an entire massage wishing it would end, but that was honestly how I felt. If I am spending almost $200 for one hour, I expect to leave feeling relaxed and like the treatment was worth the money. Instead, I left disappointed and frustrated, especially because this was supposed to be part of my birthday celebration. What made the experience worse was being asked about a 20% tip even after I had expressed that the massage was not what I expected. I understand tipping is customary, but given that I had already communicated my disappointment, the interaction felt uncomfortable. The sauna/ice bath experience was enjoyable, so I cannot say everything about Wrens was bad. But based on the massage experience and the overall price I paid, I personally would not return for a massage here. I really wanted to love this place, especially for my birthday, but unfortunately it was a major miss for me.
