It really sucks writing a bad review, but we've been coming here for over a year now and it's definitely gone downhill. We use to get great service along with great massages, but last visit my husband had the worst massage here. The lady wasn't even massaging and barely rubbing. Today we left and the lady upfront charged me for essential oils after my husband explained to the lady I never got essential oils , only he did. Pretty upsetting and will not be back. My favorite part is when Wendy she my flip over to lie on my back and her head/face and front body massage was so unique and so good and technical. I wish i could have told her to focus on hard presses on my back in the beginning because she would for sure comply. I'll tell her next time. She's capable of a hard press massage but because I didnt mention anything, she went medium-hard and it was still very therapeutic and good. She's very accommodating. This is my second time at Sky Massage, thinking that the first wonderful massage was a fluke. I have to say the second time was even better than the first. I had a massage therapist named Lulu (like lulu lemon). She was great. She worked out my knots in my shoulder and really stretched me out at my lower back. The constant reassurance if the pressure was good enough or too much was a breath of fresh air. It really made me feel like they cared about their job and how the patient felt. Use to love this place but I felt like it when down hill. Recently went here with my wife and we got over charge. We got the 40/30 combo which is $60 each. And additional I ask for the oil which is $10 upgrade and my wife got the cupping which is $30. We didn't mind paying for the additional of course but my wife was charge for the oil also which she didn't received. I asked her about and she yes you were charged for it but yet we never request for my wife just me. Maybe it was a language barrier but she didn't sound happy repeating herself. I went here because I've been experiencing unbearable back pain. I requested a 60 minute full body with oil. Jessica was so nice and had very firm and strong tension. She helped relieve some of the pain I had been experiencing. The environment was very calming and quiet, i couldn't hear the street or what was going on in other suites. I'm very grateful for Jessica and her firm grip lol. The only thing I was a bit uncomfortable with was the position of my head on the headrest; it made it very difficult for me to breathe. I really hate giving bad reviews. I don't remember the last time I gave a one star but my arm is in so much pain. For the record , I get deep tissue massages all the time... I have bad knots and I like the "painful" but necessary deep tissue. A deep tissue massage should not equate to pain and bruises . The masseuse was very nice , I was squealing and he said "it's okay , it's okay breathe" .. I thought it was a necessary acupressure spot. The next day I woke up with nasty bruises on both arms. This has never happened to me before so it's not because I bruise easy . Obviously this is not going to happen with every masseuse at this establishment , I am sure most of the are great but they need to do better training and don't hesitate to say "STOP". read more
