I was very disappointed with my services. My mom and I booked two pedicures and a full set. I specifically asked if they could apply acrylic to toes and they said yes. However, they seemed upset when my mom tried to tell them what and how she wanted her set to be. The work speaks for itself. Spent almost 4 hours here and left upset with the result. I had builder gel applied to my toes in hopes of making them look even. The first woman who worked on my pedicure didnt even ask what I wanted, just went right in clipping my nails and buffing the skin off my second toe. My mom's full set looks horrible. She wanted a basic french tip with a nude base. The only reason we didnt stay and ask for it to be fixed is because we had things to do. The people working on our toes were laughing a lot, speaking their language while pointing at our toes, felt very rude. We wont be returning or recommending.
In 55 years, I've never had such an amazing pedicure. Lily is the best! I highly recommend the Deluxe 4 in 1 pedicure. The pedicure lasted more than an hour with numerous massages throughout. She's a perfectionist! The price was extremely reasonable, especially compared to the East Bay. The place was immaculate and peaceful. I can not recommend Lily and Sky Nails enough! Give them a try. You will not regret it. Now for the gell manicure...
I decided to treat myself to Deluxe 4-1 pedicure box. $45 with color and paraffin dip manicure $25 total $70. She added a mango sea salt soak to water, rubbed mango scrub my and shaped and cleaned up my toe nails. She did a good job on my toe nails. Wish she'd left the shea butter on feet and legs longer. She squared my finger nails, I am not a fan of a square shape on my nails. She never did the paraffin dip on my hands which should have change it $20 manicure, total $65.. After she was done she said that will be $85... how? She said, she did nail gel on my toes...I didn't ask for. She said, ok, $80. Such an unexpected last minute price increase is too much for me. Seemed busy.
I love David and Kelly!! They both are super nice and always have a smile on their faces. Once you are a regular, they remember your name and pick up the conversation you were having with then two weeks prior. My daughter goes to see David or Kelly as well. She agreed with me that the nails don't lift and make the acrylics look as if they are your natural nail shape. Pedicures are amazing!! Comfortable massage chairs. Awesome package for great prices. You show them a Pinterest nail picture, they get it done. They are amazing! Give them a go! I know you will not be disappointed. They are a great family business and treat everyone with respect.
I'm so sad. I came here after a long week of work and excited to get my nails done for the first time in a while since having my son. First off, my nails were cut into the most awkward shape, definitely not almond :( And about 2 days later, started chipping. I now have 2 nails with gel missing and haven't even had my nails done for a week. All the other nails are unevenly coated and have bubbles and dips in them. My nails look awful, like they were done over a month ago. I took a chance and came here because of the stars, but definitely not worth it. Wasted my money, sadly.
I went to Sky Nails after having gone to a different salon twice and losing a nail both times. Therefore, I tried Sky Nails. The difference was night and day. KT Nails in Ripon didn't clean up my cuticles and the nail lengths were uneven. The tech at Sky Nails was funny; she cracked jokes, and we laughed at the poor job the other salon had done in Ripon. The only reason I'm not giving a 5-star review is that I wanted some nail art done and that has to be specifically scheduled, but for a walk-in they're fabulous. The full set was $50 because she had so much repair work.
Nice small nail shop & they all speak English which is nice. I didn't like the lady who did my toes or nails. She sucked. I think the older ladies are the worst at giving pedicures and manicures. (Sorry to say) First off i said don't cut my toe nails, i cut them before i came in for a reason and she still cut them beyond short! She also gave a 2 min massage if that. My manicure was bad to, why call it a manicure when you don't massage the clients hands or arms. She literally rubbed lotion on my arms and wiped it with a warm towel and that was it. Not to mention my shellac is already coming off in a week and they look awful super thick. Only came here because it was recommended. Won't be coming here ever again.

I tried this place and I must say how comfortable I felt being there. My nails look AMAZING! I especially appreciate David's attention to detail. I love the way he did the dip on my nails. I came in today to get my dip powder nails removed and a regular manicure, and they did a great job of both! They were very attentive to what I wanted and they weren't rushed or overly harsh with my nails. The cost of a regular manicure is only $13 which is pretty inexpensive. Overall, I was really impressed with my nails and would come back again! read more

Being new to the area I needed a new nail tech so I searched on yelp. I came across Sky Nails and one of the tech's, David. I messaged him for a same day appointment and he was able to accommodate myself and two of my daughter's. I have to say their customer service was amazing and David made sure that I was happy with my nails. Between the three of us we had a full set, manicure, pedicures, and some waxing services. As picky as we are we had no complaints about any of the services we had at Sky Nails. Needless to say my girls and I will be back. read more

My boyfriend and sister wanted to go shooting and, I wasn't in the mood. My boyfriend suggested for me to get my nails done and, it's been awhile since I've gotten them done. He recommended Sky nails because he knows David from work and I went on yelp to look at reviews. I really liked what I saw so I messaged and within a few minutes David responded to my message and got me in at 4:15pm. I absolutely love my nails! Just moved to Ripon about a year and a half ago so I figured why not try a local nail salon? Wow. Thee WORST experience I've ever encountered. The young guy literally soaked my feet in the water for less than 2 mins then took them out to start on my pedicure. He didn't file my nails, nothing. I told him I wanted gel and he gave me regular polish. He was too busy watching football the whole time. I just felt rushed and not relaxed as I was hoping for. He did my gel manicure as well which turned out pretty bad. Very disappointed at this Ripon salon. read more

This place I had such high hopes for. All I needed was my sns dip removed & I wanted a manicure when it was finished... the woman is did my nails ruined them! Went in today to get a manicure and pedicure. I was the only one in the salon which was nice! Place was clean and quiet. I got a basic pedicure, which was great! Color looks good and I am happy with it. My nails, NOT so much. She had offered me their new product called the Dip Powder. I've never had it so i said sure I'll try it. Since I've never had it before, I didn't know anything about the application of the product it's self. This, is not good. This Is not ok lol. I not recommend getting dip powder here won't be coming back. Pedicure was good tho. read more

Looking for a new nail salon, I looked on Yelp and discovered that this place had a lot of good reviews! So I went ahead and went inside. Definitely not busy on a Wednesday at 4:30 PM. Lucky for me! I was very impressed with the quality of service that I received from David. He is the owner's son. It is just the two of them (David and his mother) working, which I find endearing. The customers coming in were very familiar with them. You could tell that there is a good rapport between the clients and the owners. David spoke English well, which I like; it makes communicating so much easier and less awkward. I was very specific about what I wanted, and he accommodated me in every way. He was very professional and thorough, and while his work was done quickly, it was also done excellently. A manicure with shellac nail polish cost $25, which I found to be worth every penny. I plan on making this my new nail place here in Ripon! I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and highly recommend it to anybody else looking for a nail salon. You can walk in for appointments, like I did today, or you can make appointments with David as well. I went ahead and made an appointment for this upcoming December 21st, right before Christmas, to get a manicure and pedicure! I can't wait to see how my pedicure will turn out! read more

Love this place! I have been everywhere in Manteca trying to find someone after my nail guy left and I finally found sky nails on yelp! Had amazing reviews so I sent a message got a response back immediately. This is my second time going and I have to say as of now I have no intention of going any where else! I am picky and get the same style of nail every time just a different color, I have oily nail beds so my nails lift so easily and when David started he's been putting some extra coats of primer and it works! No lifting for 3 weeks!!!! David does my nails and his wife does my color such an amazing and sweet couple! read more

Best place to get your nails done, without a doubt. I've been going here for about a year for acrylics and David never fails to amaze me and always make sure I'm taken care of and happy with my results. I've had people ask me if they're my real nails because they look so amazing and I get tons of compliments on them. He and his mom are super friendly and try their best to get you into their schedule so I do recommend making an appointment about a week beforehand because they can get a little busy but it's worth the wait. I first found out about this place from googling nail salons that offer Gel manicures. After looking at the positive reviews on google, yelp and Facebook I sent a message to ask if there was any availability for the next day. I received a response within ten minutes and was set up with an appointment quickly. The manicurist was very detail oriented and made sure I was happy with my nails and color before I left. I've only started getting my nails done regularly as of recent, but I love how attentive they are to my wants. I've only been to their salon twice, but I will definitely be going to them regularly from now on. If you live in the Ripon area, I highly suggest that you check them out. I found my new go to place! I came in around 3:45 and David told me he had an appointment at 4:00 but to come back around 5:00. I came back around 4:45 and was seated immediately. This is my 1st time at this salon to get a pedicure. Not a big salon, long and narrow. 4 nail and 4 pedicure stations. It feels crowded with too many people in there. I saw a lot of disinfectant on display, however the entire time I was there I did not see any employee spray or wipe the stations or chairs. They were busy, the day before Easter. I should have waited until after the holiday. I had an appt but still had to wait 10 minutes before they put me in a chair to soak my feet. A younger female started to remove my polish. Then suddenly she had an older woman come over and take over. The older woman was pretty rough with her movements during my pedicure. She gave me the quickest pedicure I have ever got. She maybe rub my legs/feet for a few minutes before she put the paraffin wax on my feet. I was not able to relax due to her demeanor. Sadly, I was hoping this would be my new place to get a pedicure. I won't be back, as the rush job I got did not feel relaxing nor worth service. read more

I got a gel mani and a regular polish pedi. It was very relaxing and just what I needed. It was a little pricey-next time I'll probably just get a mani, but overall worth the $$. My toes could have gotten a second coat of polish but it was my fault for not speaking up. Daniel and the older woman (can't remember her name) and Mary the dog were awesome. read more

This nail salon never lets me down. I usually go here for pedicures on my lunch break since I work in town and have a hard time finding a break for myself outside work hours. The pedicures are always so relaxing and include a hot stone massage. I recently went for a gel mani/pedi and asked for a special airbrush design for my trip to Hawaii.
