Horrible service; no wonder I was the only client. Unbelievable that they charged me $15 for a regular nail polish change. She didn't use acetone to remove the clear nail polish I had on my nails but then proceeded to buff and ruin my nails even when I asked her to use acetone for my other hand also she only file and shape my left hand; what about my right hand? She skip it. The basic manicure service is $25! Somehow I knew the service would let me down once she started to buff my nails like that, smh. I don't know how there are places like this where they charge for a shitty service.

I had the most amazing service! Kim did my pedicure and Julie did my gel manicure. They were both so kind, and so helpful. Would definitely come again

When I walked in I asked if they did soak offs. A lady replied "Yes, I do take off." I didn't know she meant literally. Long story short, she ripped the acrylic off after dipping it in acetone for like 1 minute, which led to bleeding. They are very unprofessional. Soak offs are not supposed to hurt!

I have been to so many different nail places around the AV trying to find someone that I can stick with and I finally found my girl. Lotus is so talented, patient and so sweet.. which has been so hard to come by around here. Every place I've been to I've been rushed and the nail tech does a half-a** job... but not her. She's amazing. Takes her time to make sure everything looks good and she's really good at shaping nails. I'd give this place 5 stars for her alone, but please note it's very expensive here. My set cost me $60, but I'm already almost a week in and the picture still makes it look like I got them done yesterday. I'm so happy with the customer service and the overall atmosphere there. Friendly reminder that these are small businesses hurt by the pandemic, so we should all be patient when making appointments.. Aim for lazy days when you don't have anything else going on. (This is no reflection on this one business by the way, I made appointment and was seen within 10 minutes of my arrival), but I saw that was a huge complaint on here. I was a walk in and greeted immediately and asked what services I was interested. I asked for a full set acrylic almond shaped with pink powder and gel top coat. I explained my previous nail lady was rough and drilled my nail bed too much, often burning me so I hadn't had acrylic nails done in 4 months. Lee did my nails and she was so gentle I was literally falling asleep. I love the vibe of this salon, gentle music playing in the background, clean salon and well ventilated. I will definitely be back. Sky Salon takes credit, debit and cash. Closed on Mondays and offer other services such as waxing, mani/pedi and more!

I called on Monday to scheduled an appointment at 1:30pm for a Friday. I showed up to the salon on Friday by 1:32pm. However, no one was available and the earliest I could be seen was 2:15pm. Very disappointed that the appointment wasn't respected since I scheduled days ahead and I felt my time wasn't respected either. Won't be coming back. 3 stars because their works is great, but not worth going back and forth trying to work out an appointment that was already scheduled.

Today i decided to stay in the area or shopping center where I get my hair did. O found a nail shop called Sky Nails. Walked in and just a few clients. Toes have been in socks and homemade pedicure for 2 months. I even was doing my own nails acrylics and all. I was assigned to Lotus showed her a Pinterest pic of the nails I like and she found the pink powder color I like and she went to work. We exchanged names, numbers and talked about our family and now ill be going back. Reminded me of the mail shop I used to go to in North Long Beach! My first time coming to this establishment the person doing my pedicure was a young gentleman, when he was scrubbing my feet he scrubbed my left foot raw to where he cut me. I felt a little discomfort at first then I told him to stop and damage was done already. After the rest of the pedicure I was in pain. Never will I come back to this establishment.

Yes do not fuck w sky nails, thy are very unprofessional. I had appt at 5p went in.. Thy knw wat i was coming in for.. I came in for fullset w gel.. & pedicure.. Walked out w jus my feet done.. & nothng esle.. Not only did the guy do my color wrong.. But the color in the book was not color given to me! & thn to add insult to injury thy had me jus sittn there like a fuckn hour.. I've only been to sky nails a couple times but i haven't been disappointed they are all good nail technicians . Lotus did this set I had a set taken off and got a new set I went outside the box with this super bright summer color but they are absolutely beautiful and they have good prices for the services they provide

My wife, mother-in-law, and grandmother used to love this place. However, their last 3 appointment have gone from bad to worse, and today, they told my wife that she didn't have an appointment for 2 mani-pedi's (I was with her when she called 3 weeks ago. She had to spell her name for them twice). After they then tell her they can make appointments for them an hour after their original appointment (again, today) they take more walk-ins than they can handle and tell my wife and grandmother they have to wait another hour before they can be seen. Oh also, they said they can only see one since whoever made the appointment only put down for one... read more

I had an horrible experience and too bad cause was my first time getting nails done since the pandemic. The ladies were all rude and did a horrible job on my nails and made me feel like it was all cause i have one crooked finger. I had to pay for the worst job. I never post bad reviews. But this was pretty bad. The lady didn't clean her station right after another customer. And i had to ask her to clean for me. They treated me horrible cause i complained. Told me i have to come back in two weeks to fix. No thank you. these pictures are after i had them cut down. Another lady was complaining in there also about them being rude. If I could give a Negative 10 I would!!! I had thee worst experience EVERRRRR !!! I got a medi /pedi ... and let me just tell u... I almost kicked the lady that was doin my feet.... she was soooo rough I told her can she take it easy and lighten up..... so did not.. then when she did my nails... I was tellin her I want one nail a different color with a design..... she couldnt comprehend what I was sayin... and to top it off.. The lady had an attitude the whole time.... and they make up there own prices out of the sky..... I got 3 different prices while I was there... I WILL NOT EVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN.... read more

Went to this place to get a manicure pedicure.. We have been here for over two hours and still not done. My friend asked for colorful stripes and it was so clumpy and uneven. Also, the guy that did my pedicure was massaging me so hard, i kept saying ow and he wouldn't let off. I finally had to tell him to stop. They were in such a hurry they messed up the nails trying to put on sandals and had to redo it. Paid extra for the callus remover and he literally did it for 15 seconds each foot. Also got glitter on my hands and the glitter is missing on the outer edge of the nail, like they just did it in the middle. The nail techs dont speak a lick of english so the other lady kept translating. So unhappy! read more

Ok I rarely write reviews but serious THIS PLACE SUCKS!!!! My sister and I went in at 1:45 my sister had her feet soaking in water till 2:45 till someone started on her. Then I Asked the lady for a simple French tip and was so confused and took 2 hours to do them seriously??? read more

I had gone to another nail salon for a fill I have hard gel nails, they looked so bad when I walked out that I wanted to cry, I didn't want a big confrontation so I drove right over to Sky Nails and the sweet young lady reshaped them and reapplied the same color of gel polish on the tips and a small beautiful glitter over all of my nails, I was so happy! I was treated so well and my nails looked beautiful! I'll have her apply acrylic nails and this wonderful nail salon will be my go to from now on! Thank you so much Sky nails for the beautiful work done to make a bad set beautiful! So nice and clean and the techs are very kind! read more

My wife went in to have her nails done. The person she got did one of the worst jobs i've ever seen. When my wife called back and complained, she was told that because she'd already paid and left, there was nothing they could do. Her nails were lifting within a week of their service. And they lied to her about who was working that day and stuck her with someone else. And when she asked well can i at least come in and have you fix them, she was told she would have to pay for another service. Worst one ever and she will not be coming back. read more

Worst place ever. They entirely ignore what you ask then to do. Rush work so that they can take care of other clients and if you make an appointment it doesn't matter. It took me 3 hours to get a pedicure and manicure. I would of walked out but they start then stop them start then stop. Then move your chairs. Never go here. Ever. read more

I took my granddaughter her to get her nails done for her graduation.It was a Tuesday morning and it was nice and quiet !!!! I got just a regular mani and pedi and my granddaughter wanted gel coffin nails with certain appliqués put on.I have been working in the garden and my hands have been neglected bad!! They made my hands look like they were on a model!!! professionally done and the cuticles were cut down and smoothed...My granddaughters hands took awhile longer but the outcome was amazing!!!!!! The color and style were excellent just like the picture she wanted and the appliqués were placed on the nails in precision.Excellent job and technique....Sky Nails knocked it out of the park!!!! This nail salon has to be my favorite place to get my nails done. They are very friendly and especially towards my son. Some nail places don't always agree for me to bring my son along when getting my nails done but Selena and Andy and the whole staff has helped me a lot. They did an amazing job towards my nails. I went in with all my siblings and niece the other day. All the workers were so great! We all got pedicures and I decided to get matching nails. My group complained that they didn't want to wait for me. So my technician Lotus and another tech both prepped my nails at the same time while the other girls in the salon gave my grumpy family waters and candy. Wonderful costumer service. Would totally come back and recommend! read more

The place has limited workers. The nail salon had be sit in the spa chair for nearly 35 minutes. It made my toes all wrinkly and gross. Normally I would have just left, but I was here with my cousin and her husband. The lady who did my toes, it felt like she was rushing to finish and not only that the paint job was terrible. I could honestly paint it myself. Some of my dead cuticles were sticking out. I'm pretty harsh that reviewing at nail salons, but that's only because I'm also a license manicurist. Personally, I wouldn't come here again. read more

Came here awhile ago and left pretty disappointed. I swore to never come back due to my sub par experience. Despite their screw ups, I decided against writing a bad review and I'm glad I didn't. My friend tried this location a few weeks ago and convinced me to give it one more shot. Her nails sold me cause they were so on point, so we made an appointment to come back together. When we got there, we told them we had appointments and were greeted and seated immediately. The nail techs went straight to work, were extremely meticulous, and friendly as well. It felt as though I was in an entirely different salon from my previous experience and I later found out its because they're UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT! Thank goodness, everything makes sense now. I've managed a salon for 4 years myself so I know good management and a promising salon when I see it. Sky Nails is a serious gem. read more

I've never been to a nail salon with so little care for sanitation. I did NOT end up having my nails done here because I had several MAJOR health code issues upon being seated and given colors to pick. 1.no towel laid out by my tech on the work surface 2. She came straight from her last client to me & started working on my hands without washing her own OR using gloves 3.she took tinfoil that was too small OFF of MY hand and put it BACK into the "sanitary" tinfoil container... At this point I took the remaining tinfoils off myself and left. I've already reported them to OSHA & the BBB. If you want a nail infection or disease... COME HERE! read more

I'm not going there anymore. Arrived at 345p departed @7pm. Im so going to locate me another mail shop to go to. I had people come in after I was already there in the pedi bowl and she kept stopping to do other shit for people that just walked in the door. Like wtf . Then the same thing with the lady that started my nails. She stopped to do someone else broken nails. Then after she had another lady do my nails. 3 f'ing hours. Last time I spend my hard earned money in there. Makes no damn sense. It's a no star for me. read more

After reading all the great reviews, I'm sad to report my service and experience was disappointing. Regular pedi took over an hour, found nail polish under my toes; magazines were sticky and dated back from 2012; salon and shopping plaza were "dated" - could use a refresh. This transplant to AV will not be returning. I'll stick to Deluxe Nail Salon in Quartz Hill or head to the Valley. read more

Came in at nine for a pedi and one nail fix. 2 hours later and I'm still waiting to get my nail fixed. They sat me in a chair but wouldn't run the water so I could soak my feet while I waited. The first hour I waiting in a spa chair with my feet in an empty bowl. When I asked if I could get water I was told to wait. Lol apparently eye contact is not a thing here, but neither is customer service and those things compliment each other. I gave 2 stars for the two kind ladies who acknowledged the wait with a smile. However they will never get my business again. Still searching the AV for a nail place that offers customer service too. read more

Horrible service, so sorry to say this; but it is the truth.....I made an appointment in the efforts to streamline the wait .....not so fast. ...they are more geared to the walkins and do not care to give precedence to their appointments. I eventually walked out after I waited for what seemed like forever.....my appointment was for 5 and I left there approximately 20 minutes ago. Save yourself from this unprofessional establishment....and quite frankly they rush through every client! ! read more

Came with my mom and aunt to get our nails done... When we came in we were greeted right away and there was a wait but they were so kind, It was such a hot day and they gave us complementary water. Last min i decided not to get a pedi and they didn't mind at all like other places will pressure you or get mad.... They made it pretty simple. I Got gel nails done and they came out amazing! I'm really picky about my nails and I loved the way they were done! Definitely will be coming back thanks Sky nails(: read more

You would not believe this, after 20 days, my nails still look great. Of Course my nails grew but gels are still on and looking great. I guess my 2.5 hours was totally worth it! They did not chip or break. ( my nails are pretty strong but still... Very good results) I would definitely go back when I want to pumper myself and have lots of time on my hand... Never again. I got here 5pm last night. Didn't leave until 7pm!!! I left so unhappy. I came for a fill And my left hand middle finger looks way different from my other ones. I kept telling her she didn't even care. I'm not usually the one to cause a seen so I left. I get home I realized she didn't even put a top coat on my whole left hand!!! AND my toe nail paint was all messed up. I went back the next day and she still had me wait and insisted my nail was fine and my toe nail paint was because I got "regular". And the whole time she's doing my toes again she's all aggressive. Overall just bad experience I wish I had gone somewhere else In the first place. read more

Okay the first time I went here this young kid did an amazing job but not to long ago I went again thinking that they would do another splendid job but you know what? There rude first off , they took so long literally took 3-4 hours for some gel nails, the employee (Tim) was doing my nails and I know for a fact they were talking shit since me and my best friend went together they laugh and speak their language but no worries we knew American Sign Language so they have no idea what we were talking about but Tim was over filing my thumb it started bleeding, I said OW (3 times) the last time I pulled away and saw my thumb bleeding and showed him and he told me to relax , he still left it bloody and all my nails were uneven , over filled with nail polish ,he would literally talk back to me and refuse the way how I want my nails , I paid $45 even though the lady said it was $35. 3 days later my nails start chipping and one fell off, went back asked for manager and they start laughing at me with their language and said fix for free so I got them done and another lady came in has the same complaint and she was more ballsy and told them off. I'm never going there again , oh yeah even though they fixed them another nail fell off again and gel nails should last 2 weeks the most not 3 days , very rude . Disrespectful, they don't care if your hurt, they for sure talk shit and mock you , don't go here .... they rip you off plus lie to you . read more

Came here after my usual place was too busy. The older man doing my nails so slow but I was happy too see he wasn't rushing. But after he laid down the acrylic, he obviously missed every side of all my nails. I had to ask him to add more acrylic to my thumbs! He got acrylic on my cuticles, they were all uneven, and did not paint the sides. I showed him a picture of how I wanted a gradient of glitter but he just painted half my nail glitter. The worst nails I have ever gotten... BUT Celina saw how unhappy I was and heard my boyfriend say "are they supposed to look like that" and she asked me if I liked them. I said no, and she said she will fix my nails tomorrow. So I came back the next day and she did such an amazing job, it makes up for the bad experience. I came in today to get a full and I had to wait almost half an hour or more for the lady to get there so she can do my nails. Once she got there she was rushed so of course that's the type of service I got. I asked for my nails to be super short but she only shortened them a little. And they're also misshaped from the trimming. My nails feel so thick and there's bubbles all over. I hate my nails. I went somewhere else to get my full set and I disliked them and I came here hoping they'd make it better but it's worse. I tried giving this place a chance for the manicure section since I usually come here with my mom just for pedicures. I won't come here again for my nails. It's sloppy work and rushed service as well. read more

This is the 2nd time my wife has been a costumer here. I saw she was very happy with the work that was done the 1st visit, so I took her back again today. Whenever i received my hard-earned paycheck. Nail Service is on the top of my to-do-list. I have been coming here for the past 4 years when they had their old shop next to 24 hour fitness. First, i came here for the simple manicure just to test out the salon. I was not completely happy but the people were nice and the environment was so cute that i gave it another try. The second time i had a french manicure with the owner and i was really happy. she was a perfectionist. So for the third time,i came back for both manicure and pedicure and was with my boyfriend. We had a long distance relationship and i wanted a place that could provide a sure nice service to treat him. They gave us such good service that we have been regulars ever since. The salon has new services and many new different kind of polishes every month or so. I have tried all of them. The new gel manicure thing has got me hooked for almost a year. The color lasts on my nails for three weeks or more. I enjoyed the compliments for having nice nails all the time. Any way, i love this place. I could say more if i am not so tired of tying. So come and try for yourself. I made my nails more excited by having designs on top of the gel colors. Jennie worked the designs. She could do a very nice job. She worked on my eyebrows too. I went here for awhile but stopped going because all the owner did while she did my nails was talk on the phone in Vietnamese. I don't think there is anything wrong with speaking ones native language but think it is rude to do it during the whole procedure. She acts like you are unimportant and just wants your money. Then I found out she was married (and divorced) to the ass next door who owns the gelato place who is an awful person and also calls her a bitch. Big surprise, they deserve each other. Creepy people who should not be business owners. I'm surprised they are still in business, neither place looks too busy. read more

A month ago, I visited this wonderful nail salon and was greeted by professional manicurists wearing a uniform. The place was neat, clean and each salon chair has a privacy curtain. I was informed that the place has a new set of owners (new management) which I had the privilege of meeting. The owners are Johnny and Lisa and they did a good job on my nails. I come here quite often I usually only see one tech when it comes to getting my nails done and every time I'm impressed except for Mother's Day I do believe that the set that I received was a bit rushed due to how busy it was I was almost give up on this place due to how busy it gets but I recently just went as of yesterday and once again they blew me away with the set that I received. read more
