We've been going to Don for a kind time . We love the new salon Sky. They are very friendly and usually do a great job. Today we had 4 generations there . They did great with our pedicures they were amazing... not rushed and perfect... and my daughters hands were cute... . I'm Not sure her name but she's been there since the beginning. She did my gel acrylics ... it was the worst experience I've had in the 10 + years I've been going to them... she left glue all over my fingers and tips and stick to my skin.. and when she was attempting to clean under my nails with the drill she wasn't paying attention and burned the crap out of my thumb to where it was bleeding and a hole in it. She said oh sorry . She did it again on the next nail till I pulled away . My Gma got a manicure as well.. he did a great job on her... she enjoyed it other then she ended up bleeding as well from the filet on her cuticle ... we usually love this place and I still do.. today was not a good day. read more

I called ahead to see if they could do a soak off removal for my acrylics and a manicure. When I got there I confirmed again a soak off and a manicure. When I sat down a guy was helping me do my service and he did not soak off my nails. I asked him before he took my nails off with a fake nail if it was going to be a soak off and he did not respond. He was super rough throughout the whole process of taking my nails off and my manicure. Everything lasted about 20 minutes. I would not go back, I only gave it two stars because my nails look decent. They accepted a walk-in for my sister and I and got to work on us right away! The prices were great compared to the other places I have gone and since they are relatively new, they are giving a 15% discount on everything. They are professional yet very welcoming and friendly. They seem fairly sanitary. The only reason I give it four stars is because the polish was properly cleaned up and and there were spots that weren't painted. But that was the only downside. I would recommend checking it out! read more

They are not honest when it comes to pricing , me and my boyfriend were told we were going to be charged 80 dollars for both of our pedicure and when we went to the counter they yelled at us and told us , it was 95 dollars , I was in disbelief over how rude they were and also confused on how they ended up charging us 15 dollars extra , they did not do a good job either, my nail polish was not applied properly,it came off in less than a week and I still had dead skin on my feet when I left the salon. The nail tech used the same water in the manicure dish from my manicure on my friend. Looks nice inside but is very unsanitary. My nail tech was a little rude. The manicure was extremely rushed and the gel lasted only 4 days. I also received a pedicure a few weeks prior and paid for the "Organic Spa Pedicure." My advice is to just get the regular pedicure because you really don't get much for the price difference. VERY short massage during pedicure. Not worth it. People go to nail spas for a relaxing and pleasant experience, not just to get their nails painted. Overall, I just feel like you really don't get your moneys worth at this place most of the time. read more

My boyfriend and I went here yesterday to get a long over due pedicure and we were very delighted by the treatment and services received. Sarah was my nail tech and she did an amazing job. She had really great energy and took care of me really well. I unfortunately didn't get my boyfriend's nail tech's name, but we both got the deluxe pedicure and the extended foot massage and scrub put him to sleep, which is a good sign! Really like this place! I've been to several other places in town and this is by far my favorite. I have been twice and had two separate nail technicians and have had good results! I get gel manicures and sometimes the edges look sloppy at other places. It hasn't been that way here. I will continue to go back! read more

I am new to Redding. This is the first pedicure I received since the SIP ended. I was looking forward to it. I gave myself a deluxe treatment which in retrospect was a waste of money. I waited about 15 minutes. Not too bad. The guy was really friendly but it was a less than average pedicure. The massage was short and the sugar scrub is 15$ more...rip. It was a little bit of sugar rub and lotion that he rubbed in for about 30 seconds each leg. He didn't push my cuticles back and my nails were roughly cut and not filed well at all. At the end he said, "looks nice", but there was residue polish on 4 of my toes and another guy had to file my toenails better. Won't return. They also don't have a loyalty card system so I hope somewhere good offers that here in Redding. Oh, they also wouldn't let me adjust the massage chair to the setting I wanted. read more

I'll start with the good: the space is BEAUTIFUL, they did a really nice job. They offer dip and gel which is nice cause there are some salons still that don't do dip. The location is good... that's where the good ended for me here. I have gone in twice and the first time I made an appointment but still had to wait for 20-30 minutes. There weren't many staff members, perhaps because the place is so new. The dip manicure was fine but really thin and the nail artist told me to come in if they break and he will fix it. Well, they did. And I went back in, was not greeted, and was not able to get it fixed. I understand the line and things but maybe there should be more people who could help out with easy fixes like this one. When I showed the nail artist the break he seemed to not believe that it was possible, even though he mentioned it during the manicure, and even asked to see if I had gotten them done there. In all, it was an okay experience. Will probably not be back for a manicure but maybe a pedicure! And maybe the bumps will be worked out as they are open longer. read more

I had a full set of acrylics put on. The guy seemed great but 6 days later the nails started falling off. I went in yesterday to have them fixed and today less than 24 hours later they fell off again. I feel like it's not worth $40 to not even last a full 7 days. My nails normally last 3 weeks. I called to make an appointment and was thrilled they could get me in within the hour. When I arrived the place seemed clean and the staff nice. There were two men and three women working. I was the third customer when I arrived. One of the guys started my water and told me to put my feet in. When I did I had to remove them immediately as the water was scorching. I love really warm water but this was dangerously hot. One of the girls came over to start my pedicure. She attempted to upsale me on the service which I declined because I usually have a reaction to their scrubbing salts. She promptly cut my nails. Unfortunately she did nearly nothing to my cuticles and there was no massage. She merely rubbed lotion on my feet and legs the entire pedicure lasted 12 minutes. My technician was the only one working at this point and the five employees were engaged in a conversation. My technician then moved on to my manicure. She quickly cut my nails, put them in cold water to soak, barely shaped them and did little to my cuticles. My nails looked terrible as they were uneven. She quickly painted them leaving a lot of overlap of polish in my cuticles. Not the experience I was hoping for. I will not return. read more
