I could not recommend Skradski heating and cooling more after their impeccable services the last few days!!! I'll spare the insane details but basically my home warranty wasn't covering anything they had said they would and my original contractors ghosted me. I had a house that was 90° and animals (and humans) who were literally melting. I called Ami and she set up an appointment for Ryan to come out snd look at my SUPER old AC unit. Ryan told me the problem and I asked for some advice on what I should do, should I get the small part replaced on my decrepit unit or just bite the bullet and get a whole new one. He gave me some options and set me up with an appointment with Mike later that same day to get a quote for a new unit. Ryan also helped me with figuring out why my home warranty company wasn't being helpful when it came to covering parts and services (shout out Ryan you're awesome)! Later that same day Mike came out and gave me a quote and gave me some real insight on what unit I should get for my home, he was very patient with me while I applied for the payment plan, even though my house was 90° and the temp was rising. Barely 48 hours later, the scheduling lady, Ami, got me an appointment with Mario (and one other worker whose name I cannot remember I'm so sorry). Mario and his partner got to work around 8:30am and we're finished around 12:30pm! My house is already 20 degrees cooler and I'm SO PLEASED with everything the whole team did for me. Shout out to you all, thank you so much for your kindness and hard work!!! read more

I completely jumped ship searching for a new HVAC company to give me an estimate for a new system as mine is old!! After the open and honest discussion with my salesperson.. I had them come service my furnace. The tech literally took things apart.. cleaned & worked on it for 2 hrs.. it sounds great.. and runs better than it has for a long time! This was by far the best service I've ever had and they weren't in a rush to try and sell me a new system! So many $s saved!! read more

I had some questions about my HVAC system, and was so pleased that they took the time to answer my questions and leave me feeling confident with what they told me. Friendly, reliable and able to do the job right. Thanks So Much! Highly recommended! read more

I had a service call from a company who I thought was honest and they have told me that the furnace is broken and I need to get replaced or to repairs as it has crack in the system. I called Skradski Heating and Cooling and the tech spend an hour or more checking the system. He sent me pictures and proof that the system just needs pipes and connector and that nothing is broken. He checked for leaks and the system was just fine. He was honest, informative and responsive. I appreciate his honesty is and quick repair. Carmela K Signer read more

After several years of great quality service and communication, I am changing my score to a 1 based on today's experience as well as last year's issues. They provide a 4 hour block to arrive once you schedule service. Previously, they came beyond the 4 hour block and I asked if this happened again, to call and let me know of this delay. Today, no call and after 4 hours, I called Skradski. They claimed I requested an afternoon appointment vs the morning, which was not true. Then, in order to 'make things right', they expected me to stay around for another 30 minutes for another tech to come in and provide a service I prepaid for (spring maintenance). I said 'no thanks'. Thank goodness, there are other HVAC companies in the Omaha area who will provide the service everyone deserves and not to blame the customer for the miscommunication. read more

Our AC went out on a Thursday during the first heat wave of the summer in 2020. We called a few companies and everyone was booked for a couple weeks. We then decided to go with a guy named Joe that has a business card with the phrase "You Know a Guy" that came with high praises from several people we know. Unfortunately, Joe stood us up and didn't return any of our calls or texts. If you get recommended for Joe, take a hard pass. Anyway...since we were stood up on Monday, we needed to find someone ASAP to get in and fix this broken AC. Tuesday morning we called around and the only appointment we could find for a same-week appointment was with Skradski that Friday. Thursday rolls around and we get a call from their secretary saying there is a tech available that day that can come in a couple hours, so of course we said yes! Ryan came and did a quick troubleshoot and found a faulty compressor capacitor and changed it on the spot. He also did a quick check of the Freon and temp differentials and was out the door within 30 minutes. Great customer service and great work! Highly recommend! Service fee: $85 read more

My Mom's neighbor recommended Skradski Heating & Air and I am so happy they did! From the initial service call, Ron Miller, was fantastic and thoroughly explained how his company would install central air conditioning in my Mom's home. I shared Skradski's proposal with my own AC guy in Texas, as well as another Omaha AC companies proposal and my Texas AC guy said to definitely go with Skradski. The two masterful AC technicians, Jeremy & Tony were professional, kind, considerate and extremely knowledgeable. Mom & I are so pleased with the install and service from start to finish!!! The new AC unit is a Rheem and since installed it is cooling her home beautifully! No loud noise anymore from Mom's window unit, so her TV doesn't have to be on full blast from now on! Thank you Ron, Jeremy & Tony!!! I highly recommend Skradski Heating & Air! Seriously service is key and they delivered top notch service! A+++++++++++! read more

Skradski has been performing routine maintenance on my HVA/C since 2017. (Prior to that I used the company that sold me my system but I was unhappy with their service.) On 6/7, while their tech was doing routine maintenance in switching the system to spring/summer, he found that there was a leak in the coil of the A/C. We discussed what my alternatives were, but while he couldn't give me an estimate of the costs, he called the office and setup an app't for me to discuss the matter with someone who could. On 6/8 I met with Scott, discussed what my choices were, arrived at a decision and set up an app't to have the work done the next day. On 6/9, Skradski's people came and, within 2 and 1/2 hours, they had my new A/C system installed and running. I would definitely recommend Skradski if you have problems with your HVA/C systems. read more

I feel the price for a furnace maintenance check was really high. Had some communication issues, Skradski reached out to me to make things right. read more

Had a tech come out last week to look at my AC which kept freezing up. Thought it was low on Freon, when in fact the A-coil was dirty. Tech was very polite and cleaned up after the work was done. Would highly recommend them. read more

Skradski technician was not familiar with the HVAC unit in my condo. Would not recommend.

I would highly recommend, they were very professional. The furnace i have was above a drop ceiling and was a difficult job. They even let me know, via text message with a picture of the technician, who and when they would arrive! They were quick and had everything clean when they left. read more

Earlier than expected, knowledgeable and efficient!

just had furnace replaced last month, not only were they reasonable, but very efficient as they took out the old one redid some duct work and the pipes out the side of the house. would recommend them to anyone, as they drive work trucks not mercedes like another company in town who charges forty nine just to drive the mercedes in your drive, plus the cost of the work. very happy with service i received from them, and did not have to listed to an upsale like the other company i used for plumbing. excellent job guys and many thanks rocco read more

These guys came out, did the job, and didn't try to sell me a service plan or make feel dumb when I asked a lot of questions. They were honest and did not nickel and dime me, great job! They were even able to come earlier than expected! Thank you! read more

Great service. Tech knew what the problem was right away. Had my furnace fixed and was done in 20 minutes. Happy with price of service call also. read more

Quick and great, honest service! They spoke with us at length & I could tell they felt bad that the specific part that would fix our problem was a little pricey. They were upfront and sure about the fact that our issue was just a sound issue, and the unit was functioning fine and wasn't at risk of breaking soon like we were worried about, and had mentioned that to them before they took a look. They were totally fine with us taking a little time to think about if we wanted to put the money into it or not. And when we decided to, they promptly got the part & installed it quickly. Very happy with this place! read more

I don't write reviews. One cold morning last month I realized my furnace had stopped operating. I called my regular guys, but they couldn't come until late afternoon, earliest. I called a few other places. Then I called Skradski. The wonderful technician arrived within 2 hours, quickly diagnosed the issue and found out parts and labor were covered under my furnace warranty. I didn't know and he could've charged, but that is the service you get with Skradski: honest, efficient and well worth the price. I will now be switching my bi-annual maintenance to Skradski. I recommend you do the same! read more
