They changed their appointment system and its going through some growing pains (they offer appointments when they aren't open; ask me how I know). In some ways, this is a bit of a no frills medspa (at least to me) and I prefer that cause I can basically come in and out without too much down time. I'm also bad at relaxing anyways so I'm not the type who needs all the amenities of like drinks and aromatherapy. That doesn't mean staff are curt or rude, they still make time to chat and be friendly. What I did appreciate this time is even though I haven't been back for ~2 years, they still had my file and I still had credits for services which they honored. They also seem to have specials quite often and it can make aesthetic services a bit more affordable (but also, unnecessary procedures for vanity aren't gonna be "cheap"). Overall, for the LA area, I find the price to be extremely affordable and the results don't seem to be negatively impacted. I'd recommend this spot for the aesthetic curious or for long time medspa service users.

I came back only because we paid via Groupon and you would not give me a refund directly. We had a reservation for three, made months before our date, and when we got there there were only two staff. We were told it was because of an emergency, Chinese New Year. One of the party received an adequate service, the other was definitely not worth the money. We had a Groupon, which means we already paid for three services, so I insisted I be given a free service at a later date. Reluctantly, she agreed. I went a few weeks later, my service provider was good and really sweet but overall, I have had a better scalp therapy, at a nicer location, for less cost. I would suggest your expectations are not very high if you plan to come here.
