Jake ruined my life. I paid 2k for pdo threads to have my face lifted. He did not place them in the right location to raise my face, and he put them so deep I can see and feel them in my mouth. It hurts to eat and if I chew too much I end up with blood in my mouth from one of the barbs tearing through the inside of my mouth. I can't smile without pain. I can't eat solid food. The threads are supposed to stimulate collagen, not cut open your mouth over and over and over while starving you. Jake is 40 years old, he is not new, there is NO excuse for him to have messed up this badly. I've had them done elsewhere 3 times in the past, once by someone with little experience, and have always had good results, this is actually insane. I had already posted about how he unconsensually injected me with sculptra that the manager got me to take down, but now that the swelling has resided on the rest of my face, I'm left with visible threads tearing at my skin 24/7, and people need to be warned to STAY AWAY! The manager, Ryan, also "feminized" my face without asking me. He said it was what most women want, but I'm not most women and I loved my "more masculine" jawline. (His adjectives.) My experiences reflect that they care more about how they think you should look than your bodily autonomy. I asked for a refund for the 68 unused units of botox I prepaid for, and they refused. I was a loyal client for over a year and spent at least 8k there, yet chronic pain and having my bodily autonomy violated is what I get for that. I went in for a hyperhidrosis treatment in the axillary area and was treated by Ryan. I voiced my concerns about this being my first time having Botox and was scared of the needles/pain. He was very patient and showed me the gauge of the needle and reassured me that it shouldn't be too painful. I was given ice packs and barely felt any pain. Even on the first day, I think about 95% of sweating went away (and I sweat nonstop)! This has been such a big lifestyle change for me and I would recommend this place a lot. **I should have read the good AND the bad reviews** Not a fan, especially for a first time patient. My consultation felt cold, uninformative and overall rushed. From the start there was continued confusion about the service I wanted which felt careless and impersonal. Once that was clarified, I was informed that they take a "one size fits all approach" when it comes to said service, which seemed odd. Given that every face is different, especially as I was requesting a more conservative approach than their standard. ** Also he sat 4 feet away from me and never actually examined my lips, their shape, or my smile ** The consultation ended with the nurse practitioner agreeing to do slightly less, but still more than I wanted, which I agreed to, after he informed me that I would still have to pay the flat rate including for the unused units. At that point I just wanted to get the service I had been looking forward to.. I'm sure the service was preformed fine, this was earlier today so, too soon to see results. I just would have liked a better first experience, to have been better consulted during my consultation and time and care taken even with minor adjustments. read more

This was my second time getting Botox here, and I had a great experience both times. I unfortunately forgot the name of the NP who treated me during my first visit, but he did a stellar job. For my second visit, I had Heidi as my NP, and she was amazing! It has only been 4 days, but I can already see that she did exactly what was recommended. She actually suggested a few fewer units than I originally requested, and I really appreciated her expertise and honesty. I came here months ago hoping my left under eye would look better but it still looks blue-ish in certain lighting and slightly raised/overfilled. I was referred to BTX by a friend who had a lovely experience for under eye filler, which is why I decided to go for it. I mentioned to the injector that I've never done undereye filler before so I just wanted to do half a syringe since my hollows were not that deep.. but he insisted that I needed a full one. To be honest, I was strongly considering my budget and my under eyes weren't very deep -- so I declined to do the full syringe. After some attempts to convince to still do the full syringe, he finally accepted that I just wanted half and said ok we could start with half and if I needed more, we could add more later. I said ok and I felt good about moving forward. He filled my right under eye and was beautifully done! I was shocked. The left under eye was just slightly deeper and this is the side that was overfilled. The undereye was visibly more puffy and swollen. I felt a bit concerned but the injector said I should expect normal bruising. He also said we basically used a full syringe this time but since it was my first time at their location, the extra filler was free of charge but that I should just go for the full syringe for my next appointment. -- In the end, I left their office feeling like the blue bruising would go down, and this extra filler was generous and even felt a little guilty for walking away with free filler. Months later, it still has a faint blue-ish tint and is visibly overfilled. I really feel that half the syringe would've been enough and reflecting back on my appointment, I think the injector used more filler than was necessary in order to be RIGHT about the full syringe. Ultimately, my request wasn't respected, he injected MORE than we agreed to and now I have an ugly overfilled left under eye. read more
