Facial was so rough, the lady broke one of my real gold earrings. I wasnt mad, i wish she wouldve been less rough but these things happen. I held in my hand the whole appointment trying to fix it whenever she left the room. It was a hoop earring and wouldn't close, i was eventually able to bend it so it would close. But it was bent and not round anymore. I triple checked all my other earrings were still in place, they were, this is important later. Right after apt they called me to leave a tip, i actually did forget to tip cuz i honestly just wanted to leave, this is when i realized my other earring was missing. Went back to them to ask if they seen it. They started yelling at me n telling i was lying and gaslighting me saying i didnt even have it on. The lady who worked on my facial literally went up to my face and started pointing and yelling "you didnt have it on". There were a total of 3 workers there that was there, 2 were yelling and saying i was lying (the receptionst and the lady who worked on me), 1 younger worker did end up actually trying to be nice and help look for it without yelling at me. But we couldnt find the earring. Which was sad but it was ok. I was just going in there to ask if they could help me look for it but they kept yelling at me. Then when i was about to leave. The receptionist had the nerve to ask me to tip again... are you actually crazy? Why would i tip when you actually broke one of my earring and yelled at me repeatedly? Well. That was my shitty experience. Will not be going there ever again. Then I moved back to SGV area and came to Temple City location. Located in Meet Fresh, Bistra Na plaza on the top floor. They moved and the new location is bigger and clean. One star off for scheduling me wrong 2x due to confusion on location because their English is not very good. I have only used text to communicate with them. Other than that, all the staff here are nice. I have tried all their technicians that does the facial. Each time I do a facial I end up falling asleep because it is pretty relaxing. As a BBB rule, Its her responsibility to tell the customer when their service has used and she should ask the customer if they wanted to continue or to stop. i dont usually write reviews but i'm from the bay area but this is the ONLY place i get my facials from. their service is exceptional and they treat me like a queen. everyone is so friendly and even though i'm not from the area, the staff always remembers me. I usually have a lot of blackheads but after a facial, they are squeaky clean and my skin is left glowing. they always ask if i want to clean up my brows (and of course i ALWAYS say yes because i would get charged an extra $70 elsewhere) and ask if i want to put on sunscreen (yes again because who doesn't love free things), and i love how there's chinese herbal tea for you after. my mom and sister also come here when they're in socal and they LOVE it ! it breaks my heart to see some of these reviews because i've been a loyal customer for years and never once had a bad experience. the only bad reviews i've seen were about Groupon, but i've used several Groupons here without any issues, so i'm not sure where these complaints are coming from. the terms and conditions are clearly stated, but unfortunately, some people don't bother to read them and then blame the business when they don't get what they think they're entitled to. maybe double-checking the details before getting upset would help ‍ if you're looking for an amazing place for facials and beauty treatments around oc, definitely check out MS Slim. the service here is fantastic, especially for the price. The only thing that I wasn't 100% happy about was that they couldn't do the original design I wanted because they didn't have any black nail tape on site.
