I bought it thinking maybe its just my skin barrier and maybe my skin needs to take time to heal. After trying a different esthetician, she informed me that my skin is sensitive but it was not my skin barrier. Simply put. Some products work, some don't and thats just it. As for the gloves, again. If you have been struggling with acne for years and tried "everything" and see no results, LOOK NO FURTHER!!! THIS IS IT. I am not one to write reviews for things (because i am a busy and broke grad student and have no time) unless it is something extraordinary and life-changing and this is one of the few places that I will put everything away anyday to write reviews for. Before coming to Jenny, I tried everything from different brands of products to anitibiotics to accutane (which i really dont recommend because it made me super depressed) and only saw some results with accutane but my skin bounced back to being bad after a few months off of accutane and I could not go through the depression again. So out of desperation I googled and found this place, and just like you probably, you are skeptical to try facials because it probably will be another thing that just wont work and you will waste your money on, BUT I knew this wasn't true when I scheduled my first consultation with Jenny. That 30 minute of my life, I learned more things about how to PREVENT acne than I have my whole life, and I knew I could trust her because most of the things she shared with me which includes diet habit, products to use, etc. don't benefit her in any way financially. She ACTUALLY CARES about educating you good habits to improve your skin instead of making money off of you. That is the one thing that is different about this place than any dermatologist office or brand products that I found. Then I went in for my first facial and my skin was pretty bad back then and I was still worried if my skin is "too bad" that i have to be on something like accutant to make the acne completely go away. But after about 4months right now, I kid you not, I almost do not get a single pimple at all. Acne client here You guys, Jenny is amazing! I'm so glad I found her. Last year, in my mid-30's I developed a (hormonal?) cystic acne problem. I've never had great skin, but never experienced anything like this either. I tried tea tree oil, witch hazel, and other natural "cures," various products, but frustration was growing as nothing seemed to keep my face under control. This review is long overdue, but I've been coming here for about two years and Corina has helped me since then with my acne. I was feeling really down due to the condition of my skin during the pandemic and decided to do a quick yelp search for clinics near me, as I thought I'd need a dermatologist for my acne, but I started to look into estheticians instead and surprisingly enough, found that the clinic was very close by. I called and was given a prompt consultation by Corina. Ever since then, I can say this is the best improvement I've had with my acne as I have a long history of horrible acne with little to no results from using drug store products and other "home remedies". Jenny has literally changed my life. I have struggled with acne since I was 14, but it got REALLY bad in my early twenties. I've tried EVERYTHING to try to clear my acne--from dermatologists, expensive prescription meds, diets, cleanses, hundreds of dollars worth of products and supplements...but nothing really worked for me or provided a long-term solution. Don't wait, book an appointment!!! I came in for my first consultation and facial in September of 2021. During the consultation, Corina mentioned some of the big acne triggers -- dairy and sugar. I decided to cut dairy out, along with limiting shellfish and soy, and after my second facial (facials are recommended every 2-3 weeks for the first few months), I already noticed a huge difference in my skin. Prior to this I had inflamed skin, with huge breakouts that were very bumpy and painful as well. I didn't think coming here would do much as I've already tested out a bunch of products -- Differin, Panoxyl, Paula's choice, Elta MD, Krave, the Ordinary, CeraVe, basically anything that skincare influencers recommended). I completely switched over to the Face Reality skincare line, and it seriously does wonders for the skin! The entire line costs roughly $150, but the products are honestly affordable when compared to what's on the skincare market (some products are cheaper than what I was previously using too). The only regrets I have are not coming here sooner. My skin completely cleared up in 3 months and I'm still shocked with the results, especially with how fast it happened.
