So glad that I found Jenny at Clear Skin Solutions! I was struggling with acne and inflammation (lots of redness and white heads) when I first came in for my consultation in January. During the consultation, Jenny took the time to understand my skin concerns and my routine. Jenny provided thorough and personalized tips and education on diet, lifestyle, and skincare ingredients to help prevent breakouts and clear up my skin. I came in for an acne facial twice a month for 6 months, and with the help of diet, skincare, and regular facials, all of my acne cleared up in time for my wedding! The facials are very relaxing and the cost was super reasonable. Each session, Jenny not only provided excellent service but also made recommendations on products and skincare tips to help my skin get better over time and stay clear. She is so kind, gentle, and a joy to be around. My wedding makeup artist even noticed the huge improvement in my skin, which no longer required concealer to hide any blemishes on wedding day. I highly recommend Jenny and Clear Skin Solutions! read more

Came on a weekday and loved that there is plenty of street parking. Pros: 1. Katt who did my facial don't try to sell me any products which is normally off putting. Loved that! 2. Parking situation is good as plenty of 2 hour spots on the streets. Overall, I wasn't blown away with the facial, I got a hydrating facial and price was ok. I have no complaints but I wasn't blown away and won't becoming back. Overall, a good place to try if you are in the neighborhood. They do have massages too. read more

TOP Facial location in the SGV. I have explored different locations for facials and Clear Skin Solutions is the best and most attentive when it comes to extractions. I came here because I need extraction badly, and yes I got the extraction, it was definitely painful, scale from 1-10, would be 7-8 for me. This place isn't just for acne solutions. I'm don't know where to begin when it comes to skincare, and as a 48 year old woman with giant pores, blackheads and saggy skin, I felt relieved to come across someone as gentle and thorough as Jenny, who gave me the much deserved Glow Up that my skin needed. I feel so safe in her hands, it was the deep rooted pampering that every half a century year old needs. I'm planning on injecting this into my routine every two months, so that I can stay clear from any other injections. read more

I was nervous coming to this spa since I'd never been to one before and didn't know what to expect. All the workers are incredibly kind and amazing. I really enjoyed the facial; it's worth every dollar, even though it's not cheap. I came here just last week, and my skin is already improving daily. They answer all your questions and send you the info so you don't forget! Plus, the vibe is totally chill and makes you feel like you could fall asleep read more

I couldn't recommend Clear Skin Solutions enough. Katt is amazing and she really helped clear up my skin. My skin was absolutely terrible by the time I found her. I have always had skin issues since I was a teenager and as a 36 year old mom, I was absolutely tired of having terrible skin. The time I started with Katt I just had a baby and my hormones were all over the place. Fast forward 1 1/2 years later, I am pregnant again and this time my skin is clear. You don't know how good it feels to have clear skin when I've tried for years. I do recommend having patience because the entire process takes 3-4 months or more for your skin to clear up but it's so worth it. What I love about my experience here is that Kat taught me how to keep my skin clear by making lifestyle changes. I'm embarrassed to say I never realized I wasn't washing my face in a way that was best for me. Also, the skin line they recommend has worked for me. It's always hard trying to figure out which products to use but Katt told me exactly what to use even what makeup to use and my skin is doing so well. I am beyond thankful and the gift of clear skin means the world to a mama. Thank you Katt! read more

***Updated review: I feel like this whole situation is going to be a he said, she said. Whether or not I tip, is really up to me even if its good service or bad service. Im surprised the owner even had to mention the amount I tipped in the first place. Regarding the products, I did mention it during the appointment that my skin was irritated and that I felt a burning sensation yet the products were still pushed onto me. I bought it thinking maybe its just my skin barrier and maybe my skin needs to take time to heal. After trying a different esthetician, she informed me that my skin is sensitive but it was not my skin barrier. Simply put. Some products work, some don't and thats just it. As for the gloves, again. This is based on my sole experience. I originally came to this place to try a cheaper alternative, but you get what you paid for. ****** I scheduled an appointment with Katt and I actually hated everything about the experience. I felt like I wasted time and money coming here. My skin is really sensitive and a lot of the products that she recommended burned and irritated my face. Her excuse was just that the products were made with the most gentle products, but this does not mean that the products are user-friendly for everyone. Even when she was working on my acne, I noticed that she wasn't using gloves. Not very hygienic for me. It's better if you go elsewhere or book a consultation with a different person. Its also a bit weird that everyone on here has only posted 5 star reviews. read more

I developed acne as an adult and when it got really bad, I looked for a way to get better through lifestyle and skincare products. After trying many different things on my own, I finally decided to seek help and was so lucky to find Clear Skin Solutions. I started receiving acne facials from Katt in January and began to really notice the difference in my skin around May-June. If you are looking for help with your acne, I would definitely recommend coming to Clear Skin Solutions and giving it a try. Remember to trust the process and that improvement takes time! To the cautious reader: so many 5 star reviews for a business may seem strange, but I can guarantee you that the reviews do not lie and that the services provided are great! read more

I am so happy I found Clear Skin Solutions...I just wish I did a decade earlier! guys omgggg i finally found it! afters years of searching for a facial provider that would help clear up my acne prone skin, search no more cus she's here!!! i started my journey w clear skin solutions on december 4th, 2024 with a consultation and acne treatment. since then, my skin has heavily improved and it hasn't even been half a year yet (i'm extremely grateful). in the past, i've even searched for dermatologists who'd prescribe topical ointments or pills, but it did as much as a bandaid and the pills would make me feel sick. luckily i found clear skin solutions here on yelp and they use nothing but products of integrity, they've seriously unlocked the secrets to skincare IMO. they curate personal products according to your skin type for you to purchase and use daily, then when you come in for a facial they feel out every possible pimple on your skin for extraction. BOOM perfect recipe that got me clear, not the mention my wonderful technician you know who you are ;) when i look back, my skin used to be so angry!! now, she's as chill as a floating cloud on a sunday morning my friends and family have also expressed to me they see a difference! it's so nice to feel calm about my skin again cause it was giving me so much anxiety. now i know which direction to go when looking for skincare AND makeup products all thanks to this holy grail. no more spending endless amounts of time and money searching and switching out products that don't work for me??? yes please, my dream is reality. read more

I came to Corina back in 2022 & I'm so glad I found this place. Not only does she do a phenomenal, thorough job in facials but she also really takes the time to educate her clients on how we can prevent acne from the inside though lifestyle choices. She doesn't use harsh chemicals or ingredients as a bandaid solution but really encourage her clients to heal from within. I love that I can trust the skincare products they use because the face reality products are known to be gentle but effective for acne prone skin. Corina is also the warmest person you'll ever meet. Jenny is AWESOME!! She managed to help me get clear skin in 4 months without ever seeing her in person [she's closed due to COVID]. We had our virtual consultation and she was very informative and thorough on everything to help me with my acne-- from lifestyle changes to the Face Reality products. She's also super responsive and will answer any questions or concerns that you may have and give adjustments to products as needed. She's very knowledgeable about acne triggers and acne in general and really helped me understand what changes I needed to make to attain clear skin. I've struggled with acne for 2 years and my skin has never been this clear. 10/10 recommend!!! read more

6 Month progress!! I am so grateful to have found this place and Jen, she seriously saved my skin and emotional/mental well being. I will be honest and say so much work has gone into this including nutrition, lifestyle, and also checking my hormones through my doctor. However, the impact of the the facials and products have made a night and day difference. I knew this would be a great match when Jen sat me down and educated me for free during my first consultation. She is very knowledgeable and genuinely cares to guide people through this journey. I can't recommend this place enough. It saved me from going to through accutane, birth control, or the other meds suggested by doctors. I also went to a dermatologist prior to finding Jen and saw no results. The more holistic route is what truly has worked for me. I hope this helps someone read more

Unfortunely, this skin care program didn't work for my son's acne. The technician was nice.

I had a facial with Jenny yesterday and it was AMAZING! Straight afterwards, my skin was glowing and radiant, and today my skin has never looked better: the texture is smooth and clear and my skin is noticeably more hydrated. Jenny was absolutely wonderful and choose a the perfect facial to suit my needs. (I have dry skin and my main concerns are skin tone, texture, and aging). The facial itself was so relaxing and calming, and the clinic is lovely and clean. I'm really looking forward to my next appointment here! read more

I found Jenny in a moment of desperation because of this blemish on my cheek that would not go away. She texted me back right away and we set up an appt for me to come see her. Firstly, her space is so cute and so welcoming. Secondly, she is the kindest, most loving human. She took a look at my blemish and said that it looked like an inflamed acne scar and to go see a dermatologist instead. She could have easily lied to me or even sold me on all her treatments but, she was honest, sincere, and gave me recommendations. For that, I love her. And on top of that, she didn't even charge me for this visit. I was there less than 10 minutes, but it was still her time and work. I can't thank her enough for the generosity and expertise. Jenny, you are an angel and I am so grateful for you. read more

I have been struggling with acne for years, and I tried using different over the counter ointments and Curology. When I stopped using Curology, it made my acne twice as worse. So, I did a search on Yelp for places that have good reviews and specialize in removing acne. I saw this place which has a lot of 5 star reviews. I called and scheduled a consultation earlier this year and met with Katt on the date of my appointment. It has truly been a life-changer for me. From the moment I stepped into their clinic, I felt welcomed and at ease, knowing I was in the hands of a professional. First and foremost, Katt demonstrated an exceptional level of knowledge and expertise in regard to what she does. She took the time to thoroughly assess my skin condition, listen attentively to my concerns, and develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to my specific needs. What sets her apart is her genuine empathy and compassion. She understood the emotional toll that acne can have on an individual and made me feel comfortable discussing my insecurities openly. Her supportive and understanding approach created a safe space where I could address my concerns without judgment. What truly stood out to me was the remarkable results I achieved under her care. Her expertise, combined with her personalized treatment plan, yielded significant improvements in my skin's overall health and appearance. Not only did she address my existing acne, but she also provided guidance on preventing future breakouts, helping me regain my confidence and self-esteem. In conclusion, I highly recommend this place to anyone struggling with acne-related issues. Their comprehensive knowledge, compassionate approach, and remarkable results truly set them apart. Thanks to their expertise, I now have a renewed sense of self-confidence and a healthier, clearer complexion. read more

I am so glad I found this place. I have struggled with acne and even cystic acne at one point for more than 10 years and I have tried countless different products and nothing has helped. After coming here for the last few months, my skin is finally clear and has made a lot of improvement! Katt is the nicest and is very knowledgeable - from day 1 I was given a very thorough treatment plan including a review of the products I was using, diet and nutrition, and a skincare routine to follow. She made it very easy and simple and I could see visible improvement in my skin within only a few weeks. Another plus is that the products they use are clean (not a lot of harsh chemicals or fragrances) Katt is very easy to talk to and always thoroughly answers all the questions I have which I really appreciate. The office is clean and I am always comfortable and relaxed when I'm there for the facial treatment appointments. Everyday I am thankful that I found this place on yelp :) Would definitely recommend read more

Jenny is amazing! And so are the rest of her estheticians! They cater to you needs and don't just try to upsell you :)

If you have been struggling with acne for years and tried "everything" and see no results, LOOK NO FURTHER!!! THIS IS IT. I am not one to write reviews for things (because i am a busy and broke grad student and have no time) unless it is something extraordinary and life-changing and this is one of the few places that I will put everything away anyday to write reviews for. Before coming to Jenny, I tried everything from different brands of products to anitibiotics to accutane (which i really dont recommend because it made me super depressed) and only saw some results with accutane but my skin bounced back to being bad after a few months off of accutane and I could not go through the depression again. So out of desperation I googled and found this place, and just like you probably, you are skeptical to try facials because it probably will be another thing that just wont work and you will waste your money on, BUT I knew this wasn't true when I scheduled my first consultation with Jenny. That 30 minute of my life, I learned more things about how to PREVENT acne than I have my whole life, and I knew I could trust her because most of the things she shared with me which includes diet habit, products to use, etc. don't benefit her in any way financially. She ACTUALLY CARES about educating you good habits to improve your skin instead of making money off of you. That is the one thing that is different about this place than any dermatologist office or brand products that I found. Then I went in for my first facial and my skin was pretty bad back then and I was still worried if my skin is "too bad" that i have to be on something like accutant to make the acne completely go away. But after about 4months right now, I kid you not, I almost do not get a single pimple at all. My skin tone in general is so radient and my skin is so smooth, and I honestly can't even believe that I am using these words to describe my skin because I am the type of person that uses makeup everyday when I go out just so that I can cover my acne, and I almost tear up when I think about how much my skin has improved after coming here. My only regret is not finding Jenny sooner in my life, but I am so so grateful that I did because otherwise the type of acne i have will probably follow me for life... Hopefully this convinced you to give this place and Jenny a try because YOU WILL SEE RESULTS! Also I want to mention what a SWEET person Jenny is. Going to facials is honestly one of my favorite things to do now because my skin feels better afterwards and I get to spend the hour with her because she is just the best. read more

Acne client here You guys, Jenny is amazing! I'm so glad I found her. Last year, in my mid-30's I developed a (hormonal?) cystic acne problem. I've never had great skin, but never experienced anything like this either. I tried tea tree oil, witch hazel, and other natural "cures," various products, but frustration was growing as nothing seemed to keep my face under control. I looked in to various alternatives: acupuncture, microneedling, etc and after finding Jenny on Yelp, decided to give her a shot first and I'm so glad I ddI! My skin felt calmer after one session and I started seeing results within a month! I followed her instructions and used the Face Reality products she recommended. Her facials are reasonably priced and she is thorough, professional, knowledgeable and so sweet! Within three months, I had no more acne! It has now been five months and I am so much more confident in my skin, with or without makeup. I still have scarring from the trauma my face went through last year, but it feels good to not have to constantly worry about a new pimple coming in. Can not recommend enough read more

If you are struggling with acne on any level, Jenny is the real deal. Long story short: the pandemic (and aging I like to think) ruined my skin. Up until my late 20s I had no issues with acne but recently struggled with hormonal and comedone acne all over my face. I've visited multiple clinics in search for answers but didn't see much progress with my skin until I visited Jenny. She helped transformed my skin back to its clear state in just three months! The first couple visits were the toughest with extractions left and right, but we all know it had to get worse before it got better.. and boy was I right!! Alongside the facials are the products she recommends using which helped tremendously and have become a staple in my skincare routine. I cannot express how satisfying it is not to feel any bumps or texture when washing my face. I highly recommend paying her a visit! She is a miracle worker. 1000/10 recommend. read more

I came in for my first facial ever! Let me tell you Katt hooked me up! My skin has been super duper dry for awhile now. I've literally been carrying my face lotion with me everywhere and reapplying throughout the day. It's been that bad. Anyways I finally decide maybe I should get some professional help lol. So I look up facials near me and Clear Skin Solutions pops up. And perfect they offer hydrating facials. Just what I need! I get my appointment rather quickly and Katt sits me down. I get all comfy and she goes to work on my face. She has such a gentil touch I was so relaxed I pretty much fell asleep . Boom an hour goes by in a blink of an eye. My face felt soooooooo good! Soft and supple to the touch! My skin hasn't felt like this in forever! It's been 3 days since and my skin still feels great! Such a relief. I definitely recommend this place and Katt. This review is so long overdue, but I just have to circle back and leave my support for Katt from CSS for helping me transform my skin. I was struggling for the first time at 21 years old with the worst acne and repeated breakouts. After one consultation (back in December of 2022), I learned about the different foods and products I had been using that contributed to the state of my skin. After just one month of weekly acne facials and the consistent use of just a few products from the Face Reality line (which is simply pure magic), my acne had gone down for the most part and I was left with scarring, which has since healed itself week by week. I honestly was skeptical about whether their procedures and products would actually help my skin, but the patience and care that Katt showed at each facial was exactly what my skin needed to heal. The facials themselves are very relaxing and Katt does everything possible to ensure my comfort during them, even during painful extractions! Ultimately, I can wholeheartedly confirm that all the Yelp reviews are indeed true!! Every penny spent here was worth it-- not only were they able to help me revive my skin, but they also educated me about how to maintain a routine for clear skin. read more

Jenny provided me with education and was able to recommend some products after I asked. I look forward to trying out some products soon. Jenny has literally changed my life. I have struggled with acne since I was 14, but it got REALLY bad in my early twenties. I've tried EVERYTHING to try to clear my acne--from dermatologists, expensive prescription meds, diets, cleanses, hundreds of dollars worth of products and supplements...but nothing really worked for me or provided a long-term solution. My acne had gotten so bad that it was painful and covered my entire face. Anyone who suffers from acne knows that it's just as much an emotional struggle as a physical one, and I can't count the amount of times I cried after looking into a mirror or decided not to leave my apartment just because of the state of my skin. So after doing as much as I could on my own, I knew I needed to find a specialist. I started searching on yelp and found Jenny. I knew that food was a huge trigger for my acne, and I loved her holistic approach to clearing the skin by treating both the inside and outside of your body. After many bad experiences with dermatologists, I realized that they only treat the symptoms of your acne and not the root cause of it. While their solutions might provide temporary relief, it would always come back with a vengeance and I found the side effects of the prescriptions to be quiet unbearable. Going to Jenny has been one of the best decisions I've ever made. I have been using her regimen religiously for the last 6 or 7 months and my skin is now COMPLETELY CLEAR for the first time in my teen/adult life. I cannot remember the last time I even got so much as a pimple. I began to see results in less than 3 months, and it has just continued to get better and better. Of course, when you start any acne regimen your skin will likely "purge," so my skin did get a little bit worse before it got better. (This is totally normal, and I definitely started to see increased results after the initial purge period.) Jenny is incredibly empathetic to the struggles of an acne sufferer. She has been so helpful throughout this entire journey and really knows what she's doing. She has been super informative and has taught me so much about skin. She gave me all the tools and resources I need to continue my treatment journey at home and has customized my treatment plan throughout the entire process. The program is really lovely and builds up your skin's tolerance to the products. Unlike intense prescription topicals, I had no side effects from her program (other than little dryness--and when I told her about that, she gave me a sample of her hydrating mask which solved the problem right away!) She's also just like, the sweetest person ever. Jenny gave me my confidence back and gave me the tools and guidance I need to continue seeing results on my own. I truly can't remember the last time I felt this confident in my own skin. I never thought my skin would be this clear or look this good. I no longer even feel the need to wear foundation outside of the house! If you are considering a specialist, I highly recommend you stop searching and go see Jenny. You won't regret it. read more

I had such a great experience here! Katt was so thorough with her consultation and my skin improved so much after having one facial so far. I can't wait to go back again! read more

This review is long overdue, but I've been coming here for about two years and Corina has helped me since then with my acne. I was feeling really down due to the condition of my skin during the pandemic and decided to do a quick yelp search for clinics near me, as I thought I'd need a dermatologist for my acne, but I started to look into estheticians instead and surprisingly enough, found that the clinic was very close by. I called and was given a prompt consultation by Corina. Ever since then, I can say this is the best improvement I've had with my acne as I have a long history of horrible acne with little to no results from using drug store products and other "home remedies". I would say the results do take time, as they take a holistic approach, and it varies from individual to individual, but staying consistent with appointments and the assigned skin care regimen truly did pay off in my case. My skin improved significantly after about 1/2-3/4 of a year of care and to this day, the results have improved how I feel about myself and the care I put into my skincare routine. I'm sure this also might be relatable to some, but I grew up in an Asian family and my acne was a constant topic among my relatives, but the improvement is so obvious that they don't nitpick me for my skin and acne anymore. Horrible acne heavily affected my self image growing up, but Corina's guidance has truly improved both my skin and my self image. I'm grateful for all the help she has provided to get me through this journey with my skin. I hope this review also gives anyone looking for help with their acne the confidence to give CSS a chance, as they truly do care about the quality of care of their clients! read more

i've only been going to clear skin solution for about a month now. i'm really impressed with the results so far and how detailed they are. i went in requesting for an acne consultation, as well as, an acne facial. they asked me questions about what products i used, how i eat, etc. my esthetician, jenny, is literally so nice and attentive. we've only met twice and she already knows a lot more about my skin and remembers what products to use on my face. it's always so relaxing to go in whenever i go get my facial. can't wait to continue my journey to clear skin :) read more

Don't wait, book an appointment!!! I came in for my first consultation and facial in September of 2021. During the consultation, Corina mentioned some of the big acne triggers -- dairy and sugar. I decided to cut dairy out, along with limiting shellfish and soy, and after my second facial (facials are recommended every 2-3 weeks for the first few months), I already noticed a huge difference in my skin. Prior to this I had inflamed skin, with huge breakouts that were very bumpy and painful as well. I didn't think coming here would do much as I've already tested out a bunch of products -- Differin, Panoxyl, Paula's choice, Elta MD, Krave, the Ordinary, CeraVe, basically anything that skincare influencers recommended). I completely switched over to the Face Reality skincare line, and it seriously does wonders for the skin! The entire line costs roughly $150, but the products are honestly affordable when compared to what's on the skincare market (some products are cheaper than what I was previously using too). The only regrets I have are not coming here sooner. My skin completely cleared up in 3 months and I'm still shocked with the results, especially with how fast it happened. Having Corina as my esthetician was amazing (: She was super supportive and talked over any questions or concerns I had. I enjoyed talking to her during my facials and it was also a nice way to destress. Please book with her, if you can! She's extremely skilled in what she does and will take great care of your skin. Before coming in I was insecure with my skin, always wearing foundation any time I stepped outside, but I've barely touched my makeup since and I can 100% attribute my progress to Corina. Do it, you won't regret it! read more

Katt is amazing and she really teaches you on how to make positive changes to help your skin. I can't wait to see her again next month.

It's so embarrassing to post these photos, however, I want to show everyone the transformation and progress my skin has made. I started coming to Jenny 7 months ago and my skin has changed drastically. I've always been prone to acne break outs for as long as I can remember. I tried everything in the book in order to get clear skin, but nothing has worked as well as Jenny's facial and skin care program. I've been getting facials regularly from her and also follow the skin care routine and use the products sold in her shop. I cannot thank Jenny enough! Before I would NEVER go to work without makeup on. But now I have the confidence to go to work without makeup and feel comfortable in my skin. Thank you Jenny!! If you have acne and want a solution, come to Clear Skin Solutions. It's worth every penny to have clear skin. 10/10 recommended read more
