Appointment: The appointment process was super easy, and I actually just texted Coco directly to book. I originally was hoping for a last-minute day appointment, but couldn't make that time, so I opted to make an appointment for the next day. My appointment was so relaxing! Coco was super warm and friendly from text to in-person. She was thorough with every step of the scalp treatment and didn't skimp on a single minute. Her process included different techniques to cleanse and purify my scalp, and she explained everything along the way so there were no surprises. Her scalp and arm massages were firm and had decent pressure. I also liked how she placed a self heating eye mask that I had on throughout the treatment, which added to the overall relaxing feel. I left feeling pampered, refreshed, and happy! My first experience at a head spa and it was quite lovely. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the facility was beautiful and very clean upon entering. My treatment was held in a private room. I've been itching for a facial for a while but didn't know where to look or who to trust. One of my family members recommended going to MyBeauty and seeing Coco! She's been doing this for many years and recently moved back to the Monterey Park area. I got my facial a few days ago and my skin looks and feels so good! Then I signed up for the soft opening facial promo because I was so happy with the service. A bit about the process.. You walk in and you are greeted at the door. When there is a room ready, you go in and get changed and lay down for a facial. She cleans your skin and then works to take out the blackheads. This is the most painful part, but beauty is pain. It hurts no matter who does it but she was fast and thorough. Then she applied some serums and masks along the way too. I forgot exactly what though because I was so relaxed most of time. Coco also spent a bit of time massaging my face, head and my shoulders too. It definitely added to the overall experience of the facial, which was already really good. I just got the facial but I saw that Coco offers many other services too. It was my first time here and I got my eyebrows and top eyeliner done for $400 each service, for a total of $800. This included a touch up for both the eyebrows and eyeliner. Coco, the woman who serviced me, didn't draw to show me how it would look before it was actually done, so my eyebrows did not come out even. She only fixed it when I mentioned it to her during the touch up. For my eyeliner, all the color came off the next day. I had let Coco know and she told me it was because of my skin. I had to schedule an appointment with her in order for her to give it more color and make it a little thinner so that the color could stay on better. But after that, the eyeliner still came out uneven, one eye was noticeably longer than the other one. Even after going back to fix it, they were still not even. So I compromised and used an eyeliner pen every morning to fix it myself and make it even. When it came time for the actual touch up for the color to be protected and last more than a few months, she said I would need to pay an additional $200 because she worked on my eyes too many times. I am extremely disappointed and unsatisfied because I've wasted so much time for uneven eyeliner but also required to pay additional when it wasn't even done correctly. read more

I went in to get my lashes done and was a bit skeptical since there wasn't any pictures of their lash services but Suzanne helped over on call and recommend to stop by which I did and I'm so glad I did. Three awesome ladies showed me their examples of the lashes they do and even helped me with some recommendations on which lash would suit me best. Once we were set on a lash style, Yolanda showed me to a room and the vibe was awesome it made me feel safe. Super clean, spacious and relaxing. Yolanda then showed me what she was gonna do and what type of lash she was going to apply. She let me decide what base I wanted (as in length) and from there it was great. Felt really quick since I did fall asleep lol but to assure you Yolanda did in fact take her time and made sure I wasn't uncomfortable. She was super nice and understanding she was amazing. The end result came out to be beautiful and exactly what I wanted. I didn't want anything to dramatic but still wanted there to be a difference and they delivered honey. Saw this place recommended under a scalp treatment tiktok. I love watching those videos and was excited to find out this place was less than 15 minutes away from me! I texted the number provided about the services offered, and Coco responded and we scheduled my scalp treatment (I'm a Gen Z who hates speaking over the phone lol). I came in 10 minutes early and she was at the front desk, already waiting for me. All the decor, furniture, and equipment looked modern, beautiful, and in pristine condition. She took me to the room with the bed and hair basin. She gave me this cloak to put on, and she left the room. I've never been to a spa before, so I had no idea how to wear it. I ended up clasping it around my neck like at a hair salon . When she came back in the room she quickly and without judgment helped me adjust the cloak to go around under my armpits. She used her telescope to look at my scalp condition, and then explained which essential oils she would use to help me (dry scalp and dandruff). It was amazing. She had the viral waterfall headpiece, it felt divine. There was massaging of my head, neck, shoulders, upper chest, and arms. She throughly brushed, shampooed, conditioned, massaged, and blew dry my hair. I felt immediate improvement in my hair condition. It was so soft and fluffy, and smelled amazing! All the massaging felt great as well. She informed me there is a special going on, that she will do the hour and a half service but for the price of the one hour (only $88!). However, I think she actually serviced me for closer to 2 hours. I'm recommending this to everyone who is interested. She accepts zelle and venmo for payment. read more
