My go-to place for tattoos and piercings! Can't recommend this place enough. Everyone I have had experiences with has been kind and welcoming!

Kim was amazing!! We had 3 minors getting earlobes pierced, and I got double helix. It was the best experience!!! 10/10 recommend Kim!

Fresh vertical labret

I've been here twice for piercings, nipples last year and yesterday I got a vertical labret. Both times my piercer was Savannah and she absolutely kills it. She gives great after care information and makes the experience overall amazing. I highly recommend you come here to get pierced.

Ram (Aries) and bull (Taurus)

I wanted a tattoo that encompassed my relationship with my daughter, and had a general idea of what I wanted. I emailed Jess after checking out her work on Skincraft's website and told her what I wanted. Though she's busy and booked up a couple months, she responded quickly and got me scheduled. Through the pandemic, we had to reschedule a couple of times but she was always able to accommodate me. Finally, on tattoo day, I arrived (late even, but she was cool about it) and she showed me her design of my vision. WOW! Not exactly what I had in mind...even BETTER! I wanted a ram (me, Aries) and a bull (my daughter, Taurus) 'locking horns'....and I saw it as sort of an adversarial tattoo. Jess's creation was much better for a mother/daughter duo, and I fell in love with it straight away. The entire process took 4 hours, and I was in AWE of the detail she incorporated. I couldn't have asked for it to turn out any better. Plus, Jess is fun to chat with and I had a great time trading stories with her for those hours. The shop is clean, everyone is friendly, and it really is a great experience whether it's your first tattoo or you're an old pro. Now I'm looking forward to Jess and I piecing together a half-sleeve for the future!

Came here for my second tattoo. Came in on a Friday evening 40 minutes before close to ask about how much it would be and stuff like that. Josh was able to see me right away with no appointment and we were out 8:50. I like this place because it's clean. All needles are single use and they show you how clean it is before hand. Josh was my tattoo artist this time around and I would highly recommend him. He came up with the design and executed it perfectly. His work was fast and precise. Not a single mistake. I left happy and this will definitely be my only place for future piercings and tattoos.

Excellent ear piercing. Thanks JT for it not being a chain store negative experience. Easy, clean, friendly!

I had Savannah for my septum piercing yesterday and I could not have asked for a better experience. The shop is very clean and huge on sanitization and being sterile (which is the #1 most important thing, if you ever go to a piercing or tattoo shop and they're not, run!). She talked me through everything, answered all my questions, validated my fears, joked with me, and reassured me. Savannah was very quick when it finally came time to the actual piercing and I was so thankful for that. From the time the needle went in, the jewelry was already in and in a matter of seconds the ball was on and I was good to go! If you're going here for any piercing, I think no matter the piercer you'll be in good hands. Prices are extremely reasonable for the quality service you get - yes you may have to pay a deposit, but that's added to your overall total as long as you show up on time to your appointment. And don't forget to tip your piercers!!!! Thanks Skincraft for such a good experience!

I had an awesome experience at Skincraft getting a second earlobe piercing! JT took care of me and and was really polite, quick and fun to talk to. The store is super clean and is handling COVID protocols really well. The piercing was super quick and not painful at all--just a pinch as the needle goes in. I was given all of the cleaning and care info I needed and sent on my way. So happy with the result and would totally come back in the future if I want slither piercing or tattoo!

Can you pierce a septum with a closed hoop?

Yes. The septum can be pierced with a captive bead ring or a fixed bead ring. A seamless ring can be worn once the piercing has healed. It is commonly pierced with an open loop only because most people would like the option to hide the piercing…

Do you do PAs?

We have several piercers who will pierce the Prince Albert. You can call us at 513-281-5798 or at https://site.booxi.com/skincraft to book an appointment.

What type of jewelry is used for fresh piercings?

A majority of our standard initial jewelry is made with ASTM F-136 titanium, although we do offer ASTM F-138 stainless steel, 14k and 18k gold, niobium and platinum. The style of jewelry will vary with the piercing location but most piercings start…

Do you do daith piercing for purpose of attempting to ease migraines?

We do perform the daith piercing. We can not guarantee that it will have any effect on migraines although many of our clients have had success reducing migraine discomfort.

Do you need an appointment or do you take walk ins for piercings?

Walk-ins are available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you would like to minimize any wait you might have, we would suggest making an appointment.

Are you doing philtrum (Medusa) piercings as of right now with Covid going on?

At this time we are not performing oral piercings. Feel free to email us at info@skincraft.us to be put on the waiting list. We will inform you as soon as we begin this service again.

If I'm 14 could I get me septum pierced?

We can only pierce the septum on minors age 16 and up.

Any update on if under mask piercings are allowed yet?

Currently, we are able to pierce many nasal and oral piercings with some restrictions. You can contact us at 513-281-5798 to set up an appointment.

I noticed a few months ago you said that there were no oral or nasal piercing allowed because of covid. Is this still going on?

The Ohio health department has a ban on piercings under the mask.

Can you pierce a conch with a hoop? Or should I start with a stud and switch to a hoop when it is fully healed?

It is very common to pierce the conch with a hoop. The initial jewelry must be a bit larger to accommodate swelling and healing which you will notice more on the ring then a stud. Some people prefer to heal it with a stud as they are concerned…

Between my both my ears I want 6 new piercings in total how many trips will that need to be?

I had been thinking about doing my nose once more, so when we went in with my young niece to get her ears pierced and I saw how calm and chill Morgan was, I decided to get it done. I did inform them that I had gotten a bit faint during past piercings, but forgot about a few other times during blood donation and a skin biopsy when I did totally pass out and was told I had a "bit of a seizure," during those occasions. The piercing went smoothly, but ever since having a child and getting older, I do think my anxiety can peak higher and right when the piercing was done, I felt my body "whoosh," into profound nausea. The next thing I knew, I was waking up out of a quick dream and found out I had passed out and seized pretty dramatically. My sister-in-law and the kids saw the whole thing, so it really meant a LOT that Morgan was calm and assertive through the whole thing. She helped me feel less humiliated than I otherwise would have, and was patient and kind about the whole thing. And I have a very pretty nose stud! Thanks, Morgan!

I call ahead the very next day; the individual that answered (around noon) said she had availability if I came up in an hour; I came up a few minutes prior to an hour, to be safe; the piercer greeted me and let the artist know I was waiting. Licensed nurses doing the piercings and a very aesthetically pleasing environment defiantly drew me in. I got my right side tragus piercing which just a basic charm. When we went to leave it was $130 for this piercing. $130 for one piercing with a basic piece of jewelry is insane pricing. Anyways, the swelling and tenderness of the piercing was normal and I was using the cleaning spray they recommended at checkout which was $20! On day two and three started to notice a lump beneath my ear, soon to find out this grape size lump was my lymph node and my piercing was extremely infected. From my 11 other cartilage piercings and having my thirds on my ear lobes I have never experienced something like this. I made an appt at my Dr office just to be sent to urgent care because there was a cyst inside where the tragus sat. I had to get the cyst trained and was on antibiotics for just over a week from this infection that come to find out after sending a swab to the lab... it was MRSA! I would not recommend Rowan, from the pricing to the multiple people from across other Rowan locations that have had the same outcome as me. Find a good tattoo shop, and stick with the same piercer. Also, I did call and was told I signed a waiver and all they could do was take the piercing out for me. I was so sad but not surprised.

After 7 or so weeks I decided to take her back to pick out new earrings. I had previously consulted with someone online as I was having a difficult time getting the back off of the earring. As I was in the middle of a sentence talking to an employee about this she put a pair of gloves on , walked over to my daughter who was looking at earrings across the store and yanked out of of her earrings. My daughter who had no idea this was going to happen was obviously upset. I tried to calm her down but she was struggling and I really wanted to put an earring back in her ear before it closed but she was scared and incredibly upset as she said her ear was hurting bad and she was afraid it was going to hurt. As I was talking to my daughter trying to calm her down the employee told my daughter she "doesn't have a lot of patience so she needed to sit down". I ended up paying for one of the three sets of earrings putting the other ones back and walking out into the mall, calming her down and putting in the original earring back in her ear. Very disappointed with the way that was handled on her part. We will not be returning

Today, I finally decided to get my septum pierced, after wanting one for well over a year. I have a…read moredeviated septum which means that it's slightly crooked and I knew that it was going to require somebody that had skill. I have broken my nose two times in the past in just ridiculous situations that I won't mention and I went in for a consultation with Joey Caminiti today to see what he had to say about the possibilities. I have spent a lot of time at tattoo and piercing shops as my ex-husband was a tattooist. I was very impressed by the shop. It was super clean- even the bathroom is spotless. I wasn't wearing anything that showed that I happen to be heavily tattooed and probably looked like your basic soccer mom walking in the door. I was treated just like anyone else would be treated - everybody there was incredibly kind and Joey was fantastic. Unfortunately, despite surgeries before, my septum is just crooked enough that it threw him off by a millimeter or two. He wasn't happy with the placement and so we went ahead and took it out and made plans to try again in a week. In the meantime he insisted that I if I wanted some other sort of piercing that he would really like to do one for me for free for my trouble. I have never seen a piercer do that before and I thought it was incredibly good business and by doing that I ended up getting started on an ear project that I have had planned for years. Now he's going to have me coming back to him at least three more times for that. It was good business practices and he was honestly the coolest piercer I've dealt with and I've been dealing with piercers for over two decades all over the country from San Francisco to Miami. The tattoo work that I saw at the shop really exceeded my expectations! I will definitely be coming back there for much more work as I have a cover-up I need to do and I need to get started on my long awaited sleeve. I think I made a new friend and definitely found a new place that I am very comfortable going to as a female and without feeling a need to bring a friend for "moral support". It's just a kick ass joint! Go see Joey! He is a really well-versed, very smart and very talented piercer! I can't wait to get this septum taken care of! And I love that he's not worried about trying again. He's very confident in his abilities and I really find that comforting as I am the proverbial pin cushion in this situation. I'm sure he's going to nail it next time! I'll update you once it's done. Thanks, Asylum! UPDATE: I went back to Asylum 1 1/2 weeks later to try again to get my deviated septum pierced without looking crooked. Joey nailed it. He remembered exactly how to correct for my deviated septum based on last week. Now, I have a fantastic septum piercing and just like last time it didn't hurt at all and my eyes didn't even water! As stated before, he also did the piercing gratis because it didn't work out the first time. I will definitely be going back there!
