I have to say this is legit one of the best tattoo places I've ever been to. Each of the artists are super talented and knowledgeable. I now have two pieces from them, one smaller and one larger, and I'll be going here for all my future pieces. The first time I went was around my lady's birthday three years ago. She had been before and highly recommend their work. We wanted to get matching pieces. We saw Amber, who did an excellent job on both. Then, about a month ago, my lady wanted a coverup for a piece she got years ago that she'd outgrown (not our matching one, of course) and Andy did an awesome job at it. So much so that it inspired me to get a new piece. This past Sunday, I saw Megan for my new piece, and it turned out even better than I expected. Three different artists, same high level of satisfaction, and the prices were great too. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting ink, from first-timers to those almost covered all over. Their work is awesome, the place itself is easy to find and has a super laid back atmosphere, and the prices are just right. read more

I would like to update my review. My first tattoo was from Andy back in 2007 (Eye of Horus. 12 years ago). My second tattoo is also from Andy (on my stomach). Both satisfied! 3 years ago, my Mr and I got matching tattoos by Amber on our wrists. Loved it. Over the years, I've changed and thought the eye of Horus was not me. I wanted to get a cover up. I thought long and hard what I wanted. A couple of weeks ago I Sat with Andy to discuss my options and was very pleased with the finishing touches. I got a huge rose on my forearm. Was amazed with the shading and the details of the flower. Andy freehand the design on my arm and trusted it would look great. My Mr was very impressed with his work that he is in the process of getting an extended tattoo on his arm by Andy. The shop itself is very clean, bright and open. They take extra precautions of clean needles. Also they take their waiver seriously and make sure to give you instructions on how to care for your newly tattoo. Pricing is reasonable. I highly recommend you come here. They take pride in their work and do a great job. read more

They may or may not be good, never got the chance to see. Went down to set up an appt., the door locked with giant placard telling everyone there are no walk ins. You cannot discuss with a live person what you would like in a tattoo The placard says you have to call a certain number or email specifics in regard to what you want in a tattoo, and times you are available. WellI,I called while I was outside the store and of course no answer. Called back 3 time tillI got VM and left a message. I did not feel confident so I also emailed them all the info they required. Name, number, when I am free and a picture of what i wanted. Finished with a "please call me to set up appt." To this day, three weeks later nary an answer. Nothing. I gave up and went to Stag and Castle, now in Mount Lookout and had a tremendous experience. I walked in, explained, and showed what I wanted. She said she would work on it and we set an appointment. DO NOT waste your time at Flying Tiger. Worst service and communication I have endured in a long time. read more

I cannot rate this experience highly enough. If you are looking for quality work that is artistically uninhibited and technically flawless, go see Andy. I vetted him through his instagram and appreciated the solid, clean lines, excellent color work, and dedication to craft and tradition that makes his tattoos not only individual testaments to his professional ability, but also lifelong tributes to his clients that will withstand the years. He adapted my idea into something that was beyond what I could have imagined, and all the while he was so honest, open, and completely accommodating to my cares, concerns, and questions. He never made me feel insecure or unwelcome, unlike my previous tattoo experience, and was excited to share his knowledge, experience, and ideas with me. The whole 3hr session I felt calm and relaxed; I knew I was in good hands. The shop is meticulously clean, and the artists are clearly dedicated to being honest and forthcoming about it! Seriously, If this is your first tattoo or 50th, I can't recommend this place enough. Check them out! read more

This was my first time at FT and will not be my last! I emailed and talked with Amber several times about what I was wanting. She delivered!! She drew up exactly what I wanted and included all the details that were important to me. The shop was super clean, very friendly, and professional artists. I highly recommend! read more

I had a great experience here! I called the shop about 3 weeks before I was going to be in town, and I talked to Amber about what I wanted. A tiny Venus symbol about the size of a quarter, and my mom and I were getting matching sun tattoos that I had drawn. After talking to Amber on the phone, and emailing back and fort a few times, she had a good understanding of what I wanted. We came in for the apt a few minutes early to fill out paperwork and make last minute sizing changes. The place was very clean and everyone was friendly. Amber is very sweet and accommodating, plus a great artist. read more

This perfect little shop is in my neighborhood and I couldn't be happier with the work I have had done. My first tattoo by Andy (?) was 10 years ago and it is still dark and vibrant. My second was by Megan about 4 years ago and I still get compliments on it (and it's my personal favorite). I'm working up a third idea and plan to go back to Flying Tiger! read more

We have gone to Megan and Amber for a range of tattoos. They are both extremely talented artists! For my first not micro tattoo, Amber made sure I was comfortable the whole time. She kept up conversation and let me know what she was doing since it was in a place I couldn't see. Megan has done a few large pieces for my partner, and they all get tons of compliments. Her artistry and attention to detail are astounding. Although we've never gotten work done by any of the guys, they all seem really cool, and their work is all well done. We will definitely be making this our go to spot for tattoos for our futures in Cincinnati. read more

The quality of work is good, but who cares when they have zero respect for business procedure. We spoke with them one morning, and told us they would be in by noon. After waiting until nearly one, and having called and knocked, we emailed them. What we got back was a synde remark about how they have families and they'd be in at one. We left, and got better service at other shops for just a walk in. I understand things come up, but theres no reason to be rude to your potential clients because YOU have a personal obligation and didn't open your shop on time. read more

Andy (the owner) has been doing my tattoos for 10 years. His line work is second to none. All the artists are very creative and will help you design an amazing tattoo. If you want a great tattoo that everyone will compliment you on, then go here and let Andy or one of their other great artists hook you up. read more

Awesome tattoo parlor. Clean, bright shop. Friendly and talented people. Mike did my forearm tattoo and was so easy to work with on the design. He made me comfortable through the entire process. I love the end result. Pricing is really reasonable. I had a great experience and plan to return next time I am in town. read more

BUYER BEWARE of their DEPOSIT POLICY. I stopped in, scheduled a tat, left a $40 deposit. Had to call and reschedule the appointment and was told by Mr. Andy that I would forfeit my $40 deposit. I think this is a BS business practice, will not go there again, and I had gotten two previous tats there. read more

I have been tattoo'd several times at this spot and can't say enough about the quality of tattoo. Nate ranks among the best in the city if not the country. The place is clean and reasonable and all the artists are skilled and most importantly honest and clean. Do yourself a favor and pop in before you get your next tattoo. I guarantee an exceptional experience. read more

I would just like folks to know the experience I had with this tattoo place. I am from Washington, DC and have had great artists. I come here to get help with a cover up, and willing to work with different styles after Andy says what I want just won't work, but he had already cancelled the appointment, which was made 2 WEEKS ago, and call me 5 hours before and says he can't do it, it's cancelled. I am furious, I even tried calling back to talk about other options but the appointment which I had been waiting for was cancelled. I would never go here again, I would never send anyone here, and I have never seen such attitude from someone. I am not an idiot, I have a doctorate, and am a person. I was not treated as though I was here. Ridiculous. read more

This was my first tattoo so I was very concerned about the whole experience. I went in with an idea and spoke with Mason, who was very helpful in coming up with a design. A week later at my appt. we got started immediately. The place was very sterile and had very good decorum. I was very pleased with how willing Mason was to take a break when I was feeling nervous and allowing me to compose myself. The work came out absolutely great and I most assuredly will be going back for more in the future. read more

Went to Flying Tiger after researching Cincinnati tattoo artists for about a week. I wanted to fill in a tattoo I had gotten on my side about 4 months earlier. I had a fairly bad experience when getting it done the first time at another shop. Andy who I found out was the owner was really easy to talk to and went over what it would take to fill it in + correct some outlining issues. He got me in the next day and finished it in about an hour. The initial tattoo was brutal due to the artist being heavy handed and rushing through it. Andy on the other time was very tolerable and did an awesome job. His pricing was great and he did a very thorough job going over how to care for it as it heals. Great guy very easy to brainstorm with to go over design details and ideas. Awesome shop. read more

I went here for my first tattoo in a shop and my outcome was not so great. I had my children footprint done and the artist added stuff that was not mentioned to be their and its something they can not fix. When I called to see what they could do the guy got rude with me, and tried talking to me like I didn't know what a tattoo was. The artist work was pretty but he messed up a tattoo that mentioned a lot to me. I will never go back their for a tattoo that for sure! read more
