My husband even took the lift with Connor for a few green runs at the end. He also engaged our older son right away (when our younger one was having an early meltdown) but also came back to the little one after he calmed down and was able to get him excited and comfortable on the slopes. Basically all 3 family members got like a 1 hr private lesson, and everyone is looking forward to more! (I will say the 3-hr half day was the perfect amount of time as some members of our party were suffering from boot fatigue and we were probably outfitted too warm for spring skiing.) Also, I REALLY appreciated that Connor met us at the car and was sooooo helpful getting everyone into their ski boots and gear for the day. That literally took about a half hour of our time but it would've been miserable on our own (I don't doubt that my husband and younger son would've given up at that point) so THANK YOU CONNOR for your endless patience and support!!! P.S. I totally forgot to shout out James for the quick replies and giving us so much guidance over the phone both before and after the lesson. He recommended Solitude (prob the most economical lift tickets at this time of year) and he also advised my husband on switching out his boots for ones that were more comfortable. I got a Townie ebike some sweet accessories for both my Townie ebike and my Townie regular bike. We're Guthrie fans! Their staff is very knowledgeable from the "kids" working sales to bike techs to the owner who will do all the jobs alongside his crew. And fun fact! Guthrie is the oldest bike shop in the USA, established in 1888. Salt Lake City is full of cool things! We'll have to go to their SLC location next, but getting to Bountiful is easy (even from our home in Park City). The Bountiful location has a ton of parking. I was unemployed at the time with no money, the boat motor was my retired dad's who was trying to pay some medical bills. We could have sold the motor with a diagnostic as is, I had to borrow money from family members to get it out. I question it even needed most of the work done as other than not being run for a few years, it had been meticulous winterized and cared for since new. Complaining to management when picked up got me nothing but deadpan and a sour look. We now use Dick's marine in Layton for all our needs. At least no deadpan, sour looks and flippant attitudes.
