For as long as we've been coming up to Woodstock and driven to Belleayre in the early 2000s to try…read moreand ski (skiing isn't in our cultural DNA), we've always breezed past Potter B. To us, it was just a ski shop: snow gear, goggles, jackets, repeat. But then, in late March '25, hubs spotted a large Teak patio sale sign. We both did a double-take. Curious, we rolled in one Sunday, about an hour before closing and let's just say, the surprise was real. The showroom is spotless. And that earthy teak scent lingered everywhere. The teak patio pieces were gorgeous- just priced a bit out of range. But we lucked out big time and scored a black metal patio set already rust-treated. A solid win. Service was outstanding. We spotted a floor model and liked what we saw. We'd asked if we could take it home- as long as they were willing to knock a little off the price for it being on display. They didn't blink. Deal done. What's more, we'd also asked about delivery since we're not far off and two of the guys delivered the set in a snap!

Had a fantastic experience at Potter Brothers. Kyle helped with the purchase, and Adam went above…read moreand beyond fine‑tuning my wife's ski boots after a day on the mountain. His knowledge and patience were outstanding. This is exactly the kind of service you get from a family‑run shop--and why we'll always choose them over buying online..

We've hosted a group event at Mohawk for 4 years and like how close and manageable the mountain is…read more But I feel like they cheated us. They require a lift ticket even if a kid only does lessons. Fine. What's not fine is they never told us about the less expensive bunny-hill-only ticket (about $31). Instead, about 30 kids in our group bought the full-mountain ticket (about $60) even though many only used the bunny hill, or didn't ski beyond lessons. When you're coordinating a kid-heavy group, that omission doesn't feel accidental. It feels like they kept quiet so we'd pay more. Not nice at all. They need to do better.

I am very impressed. Place has big small mountain family vibes. Loved seeing all the kiddos out…read morethere learning. Seemed as there is a great learning program here. Brought my 86 year old grandfather here to get his first laps on the year in. This was my first time here thanks to being an Indi Pass holder. We both had an enjoyable time. T We took five runs then went inside for some food. Prices were manageable. As I was eating I watched the line at the register grow into the line to get food, happy I wasn't in it. We took a couple more runs and called it a day. Personally not a place I would come by myself. Terrain is not at my difficulty, and for the same drive I could be at bigger mountains. But, would not deter anyone from coming and would absolutely recommend here as a place to ski! Sunday 1.4.26
