I got a lash lift done and it completely ruined my lashes. After about 20 minutes my lashes started to curl over and bend under my eyelid and I knew something was right. I was told to wash them with water but that did not change anything. I went back to get the effects reversed and it left burns on my eyelids that scabbed over and bled. It's been a few feels and my eyelashes are still crazy, wirey, out of place, and look awful. I completely regret this. My lashes were were amazing and but blonde before so I wanted to get them tinted and I wish everyday I didn't. Jenn is one of the most talented and knowledgeable lash techs in LA- you are guaranteed to leave with very natural, comfortable lashes. I've tried over a dozen different studios/techs in the past year and a half, most of which had a deal offered that included a fill-in, but Jenn is one of the only 2 I've ever been bothered to visit more than once. Too often I leave a lash salon with painfully heavy lashes, weird glue that feels hard and uncomfortable, or the worst: going for a workout 3 days after getting them done and am lashless before the week is out. Now that I've had a full set and a fill with Jenn, I know I've found my new go to. Jenn works out of a very comfortable in-home studio and has a great technique that's "lash nap" material: you know how valuable this is if you've had your lashes done by a technician that poked you in the eye over and over or made your eyes burn! (Yes, I too wonder how my eyeballs haven't fallen out yet.) Retention is great with Jenn's application. I went on vacation in a humid country and did lots of swimming but retained more than I'd imagined given the activity. You can expect her to personalize your lash application based on your lash length, volume and shape. She recently tailored the type of lash she uses on me, adding a curlier lash and they look even better than the first application. Last, Jenn gives great tips on how to care for your lashes and extend their retention and has products in studio. She's super sweet, easy to set up appointments with and very accommodating. Jennifer is very sweet and patient. This was my first experience with extensions. I like the look a lot. But with it being allergy season right now and my finances are tight, I decided to wait to get a fill in. I will go back to Jennifer when I want to try it again. She was so nice and very specific in communicating what kind of look I was going for. I'd had a great experience during my wedding with Xtreme lashes so I looked up the nearest place with the best reviews. From the very beginning, she was amazing. She replied to my texts quickly and set up an appointment for the very next day. I told her I wanted the longest, darkest, sexiest lashes that she had. She measured my eyes/lashes, took notes, even laid out the types/lengths of lashes I would need to accomplish it. I've gone to many studios and no one has ever taken notes on my preferences and what works for me. Every time I visit she pulls my file and confirms what we are doing. I LOVE how thorough she is. When we were done, I had the lashes I had been searching for! They were incredible - long, thick, dark, curled - literally, exactly what I wanted. She nailed the perfect 1:1 lashes!
