She can replicate pretty much any photo of hair or makeup you show her. When I booked her, I only needed to do a hair trial since it was a new style and I was already confident with her makeup skills. For my wedding, she came to my place and did all 4 girls by herself. Getting ready can take some time but Genna is so fun and easy to talk to that the time flew by. I ended up choosing a natural glam look and low pony with pearls that I loved. All my bridesmaids were super happy with their looks as well. I highly recommend her!

She is very responsive and very good at what she does (which is making you and your girls look stunning)! First, she didn't have a minimum service to book. I had a small bridal party so that was an issue when I was searching for a HMUA. She worked with my wedding coordinator on the timeline, and on the day of, everything went smoothly as we were getting ready (which is so important.. no one wants to be stressed out on their wedding day). Genna was punctual and arrived right on time at 6AM. She had all her equipment on her and set-up quickly (I was quite impressed on how seamless and organized she was, she even brought her own light and chair for the make-up station). She did the hair for 2 of my bridesmaids, make-up for my mom and mother-in-law, and my hair and make-up. Each of showed her a picture of what we wanted/what we were aiming for and she able to re-create. Everyone looked so beautiful!! I didn't do a trial because I live in Boston, but Genna allotted extra time for this the day of the wedding. OMG Genna did such an amazing job on my hair and make-up!! I was so happy with how it turned out and what is even more amazing is that I looked just as good at the end of the night! My hair and make-up lasted through the thousands of tears and crazy dancing at night! Also, I had this huge hairpiece and 15 foot veil that she secured so well! I was afraid that hairpiece would fall out at some point because it is so heavy, but Genna stuck it in good! She also taught my MOH how to take off the veil after the ceremony. Thank you times a million Genna for making me the most beautiful bride!

But Juanita stood out because from the very start she felt like a person and not a company trying to sell me themselves. And looking at all of her credits on and off screens I can tell her talent for elevating natural beauty was really there. She kept in contact and it was easy to reach her and she was so sweet, like a friend I have known since high school. A big plus I loved, and what contributed to me booking her, is that since she travels for work she doesn't really have a set salon to drive and go to (if so that would have been a pain because my wedding location was quite a ways away) so, she comes to you with all the bells and whistles for the trial and wedding day. Let's talk about the trial. When I talked with Juanita about what I wanted and my vision I could really tell I was talking with a professional who has been doing this many years. It was like a scientist breaking down a chemical formula, | was so impressed. But she made it easy for me to understand and we curated a look that would work on the wedding day. Day of, Juanita and her team were absolutely amazing. One of my main concerns was having someone to do my groom's hair and she made sure there was someone there for that. We were able to tweak some things of the trail run on the fly as I mentioned them and she made sure we had enough time for the extensions I wanted. She was even my body guard when I was trying to rewrite my vows on paper but people kept talking to me, so she told my mom to be quiet. Haha! Her team was also very kind and generous enough to offer to help a bridesmaid who was apparently struggling with her hair. Juanita was also kind enough to stay for some touch ups right after my first look and truly made me glow. She was literally my fairy godmother and I couldn't even imagine having done this wedding without her. Y'all she is absolutely amazing, kind, and just an all around wonderful person with a great vibe, you won't regret it.

I'll admit, I've never had my makeup and hair professionally done before and I was a bit nervous. That was before I met Juanita. From the moment I met her, my nerves calmed. One thing she said from the beginning was: "I got you" and she sure did. She was literally my fairy-god-make-up and hair mother!!! Side note- the odds were against us on my wedding day as it was the first rain of the season and boy did it rain like crazy that day. Despite the odds, Juanita was on time, confident, personable and tremendously skilled at her craft. She had never met me before and immediately knew how to do my makeup and my hair and made me look absolutely beautiful. It was very important to me that my veil stayed in the entire day. I had no problem with my veil whatsoever. She did a fantastic job!! I'm getting Facebook comments to this day on how beautiful I looked on my wedding day. I mentioned earlier that I had never professionally done my make- up/hair before and the result was me literally feeling like a princess on my special day. She highlighted my own features and my make up lasted throughout the entire wedding and the rehearsal. My hair glistened and the style was perfect. It was so beautifuI, I didn't want to take it off and now I'm trying to figure out how she did it! ‍ Juanita will always have a five star review in my book and I highly recommend her to any Bride-to-Be!! ‍ Thank you so much Juanita for your heart, your kindness and the AMAZING hair and makeup design you did for me on my wedding day!

As someone who generally doesn't wear very much makeup, I expressed that I wanted to still look like "myself" on my wedding day. After seeing countless photos from other artists who all seem to be putting the same makeup on each bride, I was a little nervous going into our trial. She captured my vision so beautifully, highlighting my features in a way that allowed me to still feel like me (but the best version!!). She was thoughtful and communicative throughout, and asked for feedback on the end result of the trial for any adjustments prior to the actual wedding. One of my favorite things about the trial was that she took photos to capture exactly what she had done the first time around. This meant that on the day of, she was ready to rock and roll with exactly what we wanted. It sounds like a small detail but ladies I cannot tell you how many other thoughts are going through your mind on THE DAY, so it was amazing to be able to show up and let her do her thing, knowing it would turn out exactly as planned. My bridal party was also SO impressed by her, and I got several compliments and "where did you find her, she's amazing" texts on the days following the event. A couple of the girls asked her for a bit more glam than I did, and she worked her magic flawlessly for their visions as well. Trust me when I say I think she can do literally anything. Do yourself a favor, work with her and see for yourself!

If you have a big bridal party or a family that was hard to corral (like mine was haha,) Michelle has done SO many weddings that she was able to keep everyone on track in a kind but firm manner. I wanted to look extremely natural and didn't want the makeup or hair to stand out too much. Both Michelle and Stephanie listened and delivered. I was incredibly grateful that Elizabeth was absolutely receptive to all feedback post my initial HMU trial, as I felt the shades I originally picked were too light for an evening wedding and she instantly knew how to change it up for the day of! She also took into consideration that I do not regularly wear heavy make up and was able to give me an elevated natural look, that I was absolutely IN LOVE with! Everyone in my bridal party was absolutely happy with their hair and make up. My mom received so many compliments on her hair and was grateful of the advice of hair style from Elizabeth, compared to what her regular hairstylist recommended. Her vibe was super easy going and truly was one of the bridal party as we were chatting and jammin' out to music as we were getting ready! As for my hair and make up, I never felt more like a Disney princess than after seeing my hair and makeup done while in my dress. I was super appreciative of the small touch up kit that she also provides, as I only needed to touch up on lips after 2 hours of photo poses that entailed touching foreheads and kisses! Booking Elizabeth as my wedding hair and make up artist was truly one of the easiest and best decisions I made while wedding planning. Her professionalism and talents truly are worth every cent, and her pricing is SUPER fair compared to other HMU artists around Orange County. I'm grateful I found her, and can't recommend her enough! What impressed me most was that their efficiency never compromised comfort or quality--we never felt rushed. They were also very accommodating with any adjustments we requested.   Everyone in my bridal party was so happy with their hair and makeup. My mother-in-law, who had Amy work on her, told me she's never received so many compliments on her look and was incredibly pleased with the experience.   As for my own look--AMAZING. I've never felt more beautiful! Even better, my hair and makeup lasted flawlessly the entire day without needing any retouch. We took photos under the sun and dealt with sea breeze, dust, and sand, and everything still held up perfectly.   Booking Elizabeth was easily one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. As a thoughtful touch, she even sent me photos and videos of my look the very next day, which I truly appreciated. She is a true professional and exceptional at what she does!
