There they can practice runs, and can pretty much spend the whole day there. It can get crowded at times, but for the most part the kids there are friendly. A great facility! Ca-Tf offers exceptional development and training for all levels of…read moreskateboarding. Our son does their 1 x week program. He gets to be trained in park, street and mini-ramp, by proven skateboarding leaders. The ratio is 5 to 1. About 3 hours/session. His progression is so fast, compared to when he was self-training. Many of the coaches are pros and X-Game athletes from all the disciplines. They truly care about kids progressing. At the end of the session parents can come watch and film. The coaches give feedback for successes and provide input for improvement and practice. The Open Sessions are great! It does cost $25, but well worth it. The facility's features are well-maintained. The concrete is super smooth. The bowl is incredible! The crowd has a nice vibe. The skaters there are a tight group -- friends among themselves but welcoming to others. There's limited foul language, bad behavior, etc. The Open session is complimentary for those who take the coaching program! You get 1 free Open session per week when enrolled. Sometimes there are visiting pros and skate teams at Open Session. And they are so nice to the kids. The Staff are all so nice, friendly and helpful. They are all skaters, so they "get it." They enjoy hearing when the kids land a new trick or push past a plateau. Most of them train there to reach their dreams (X-Games, Olympics, Dew Tour, etc.).

Amazing facility, great coaches and a great atmosphere. Highly recommended for any kids.read more

I love that this is a neighborhood park!…read more Pros- good size grassy area, lots of shade, my 2 year old actually had a ton of fun at the skate park on her scooter even with older kids bouncing around her, the kids were so mindful of each other it was really great to see! Cons- street only parking, no bathrooms, equipment was all over the place, the hill that folks slide down on is very steep! and goes right into a large jungle gym, the zip line was challenging to get on and off and pretty intense for ages 5-12 imo, but kids were loving it! My daughter enjoyed this park a lot! It was very busy for the long time period we were there with her friend. I do feel like this park is probably for ages 4+ as the equipment leaned more toward jungle gyms, one tire swing, two (never enough swings) interesting looking adult joined baby swings, a couple spinners, one huge scary looking slide that was under repair, a huge zip line and two concrete slides. We came with a friend and tried the swings, the concrete slides, a little climbing on the jungle gym, we did slide down the hill with the girls and sent them down with one adult at the bottom to catch them and it was a little scary! We also tried the zip line with the girls on our laps but needed to assist each other to get on and off. Would love to see more swings up top around the grassy area and maybe moving the jungle gym at the bottom back and actually creating a large slide on the part where folks ride their cardboard down to prevent injuries

It has both a large and small area for the dogs. Both are fenced in. Both have water and poopie bags available. For being in a neighborhood,it was pretty clean. It has a clay surface, like a baseball field. Which is what I prefer,no smell, and easier to keep clean. We lucked out, there was another beagle there today. To bad we really couldn't stay longer to play. But next time we know to plan ahead to stop at this place

You can have an enjoyable morning or afternoon visit with your kiddos and be fresh enough to grab a bite and move onto your other adventures for the day. This playground has a variety of structures including slides, swings, climbing rings, and stepping platforms in addition the abundance of sand. In addition, there are plenty of benches and picnic tables for shared meal outdoors as well as a basketball hoop and skate park for those looking to take a break from the sand. For those looking forward to playing with sand, well you're in luck! They have an accessible water station (filtered water too for drinking) to help add that extra rigidity to your sand castles. There's a bit of grass for running but not a whole lot for field play. Otherwise, it's still good for picnicking. The park is rather quiet and it seems mainly locals come out here (most walked to and from the park). With that said, there's plenty of parking along the side of the park should you decide to commute out here. Overall, this park was pleasant and allowed our kids to experience sand as if they were at the beach and also play on a classic playground. Great place to soak in some sun for about half to a full hour before lunch or nap time (for the kids but I guess us adults too!)
