The Pacific Highlands Ranch Pump Track was a blast for my son to try out some bike skills now that he's gotten so comfortable on it. 2 concrete loops are available for kiddos of all ages to ride bikes, skateboards or scooters. One loop had less dips than the other but I would say both were semi-difficult and would require a kiddo to be steady. This was an awesome pump track. We really enjoyed it and my kids had a blast! I would definitely go here again.

This is a new addition to pacific highland ranch neighborhood... adjacent to the middle school and high school. there is a skate park and a playground in the same park...this is a pump track (intended for bikes)... I think it is a great concept and am really happy to have a place for the kids to ride locally. tons of grass for parents to hang out (they even have picnic tables inside the gates which i imagine will eventually be pulled out...not safe at all!) here's the issue... it is a public unsupervised park....that's fine... the issue is that there are older people (i'm guessing early 20's) who are not following the rules and posing a danger to the young kids here. yesterday there was a group of boys who even showed up with glass beer bottles and skateboarded around with beer bottles in hand! they left the bottles just lying around... there are kids as young as 5 riding here! (mine are teens and were bothered by some of the element that was here). i am really happy to have this park here but i am hoping the one's who are bringing the alcohol and drugs to the park decide to start hanging out elsewhere...or maybe the police should swing by every once in a while =) we will be back read more

I have two scooter kids and every now and then they like to take a break from the skate parks and the Pump Track is great. As a parent, I appreciate how kept up it is, it's fenced in which offers some safety and they light it up at night, so my boys can stay out longer. The only thing I would say that can (at times) possibly be a negative for some is how packed it can get. It doesn't really bother me or my boys, but I have heard people say it gets too crowded. To each their own. It's also worth mentioning that it's surrounded by a bunch of other great recreational options. There is a small skate park, basketball courts, track and soccer field and more. It is on the campus of a school, which can make parking a little bit tough, but overall it's a great option for me and my crazy scooter boys. Well-designed and smoothly constructed, this place offers loads of fun for bikers, skateboarders, and scooter riders (it appears the latter two originally weren't allowed, but are now). Practice tricks and learn some new skills no matter your age - young and old alike can enjoy this track! I highly suggest going on a weekday morning or early afternoon if you can, as evenings and weekends may get quite crowded. read more

The Pacific Highlands Ranch Park has many really outstanding amenities, but to top it all off, it has a fantastic pump track! Make that 2 tracks! Park amenities: 1. Outdoor and indoor basketball courts 2. Skating arena (for those who are not afraid to fall!) 3. Large soccer field area with a sand track around it 4. Out-door gym stops with beautiful landscape 5. Large picnic canopies and restrooms 6. Dog park area, with water spout 7. Last but not least: 2 awesome pump tracks! The few times I have been, they were not too crowded, and there were a few times, where they were almost empty. Most of the people have a great attitude and are attentive to the young beginners, who can really get a kick of all the bumps! All the above are clean and well maintained, and there is ample parking on the street and at the nearby school parking lot during the weekends. I truly wish more parks were this well maintained and treated by everyone! read more

What an amazing skateboarding experience. We should have one of these in every city with a population over 50,000.

Drove out here from Temecula to check it out! It was small & only had two tracks but it was still sick to see all the skaters & watch my husband skate. However, it is unsupervised which is both a pro & con. There are some legit people trying to practice & skate, and there was just.. little kids and I mean LITTLE kids, toddlers just roaming & getting in the way of several skaters. There was several times where skaters almost legitimately ran over children, granted it's not on them rather the parents who are not careful. This one guy borderline flew off his board to avoid running over a little boy. The mom was told by 3-4 different people to get him off the track for safety issues & it didn't change. Like I said, pro & con of it being unsupervised. Once they left it was really chill & skaters were more laid back & we were all able to breathe a little bit better. We will be back soon! read more

This is easily one of my favorite places on earth to be at. I know I'm not the only one who feels that. I drive from Orange County to come out here & ride around, the drive is absolutely worth it every time. A lot of the same people come here consistently & it's created a family like atmosphere & I've made amazing friends. We're all so bummed it'll be closed for the next 6 months. From what i've experienced everyone at this park has been so respectful & when there's kids on the track us adults are normally able to go around them or crash ourselves instead of running them over lol. There's room for everyone here & Ive never experienced disrespect just a lot of encouragement & fun. Can't wait til it reopens. read more

This review is not an opinion of the pump track but a review of the patrons at the pump track on 4/21/2021. These individuals in the pictures posted were displaying behavior of 2yr old children and had very little consideration for the safety of the actual children on the pump track. These two degenerates clearly forgot to read the rules to the pump track. First they were not wearing any safety equipment and they had the audacity to complain that my son and his two friends were getting in their way. Second there are two pump tracks that patrons can use, so if my son and his friends were messing with their flow then they should have moved to the other track. It is clear that these two YOYOS were attempting things beyond their ability, if you can't controlling the direction and speed your traveling then you definitely need to give the rider in front of you more space before dropping in. The actions and behavior of these two patrons should have been of two grown adults with the common sense to know that children's actions can be unpredictable, and not of two adults acting their shoe size complaining that my children were getting in their way. I hope the next time we come we have a better experience. read more

This place would be fun if someone actually managed it. Bikes and skateboards are not compatible. Small children and adult skate punks are not compatible. We won't be returning. This is a shame because it would be nice if there was some actual adult leadership. My prediction is this just becomes a blight on the neighborhood and is eventually torn down. First time at The Pump Track and my 6 & 9 year old boys had a great time - older on a skateboard and younger on a scooter. Age range here from 3 to 60 years old riding all modes of transportation: Mountain Bikes, BMX bikes, longboard skateboards, scooters, etc... Solid calorie burning good time. This pump track is great, many lines to choose from, good location, and the overall flow of it is great. The one thing I'm kind of disappointed about is that there's many scooters and skateboards on the track, which is designed for bikers. Mostly kids, adolescents, and few adults. The convenient location must be too convenient, because there's usually a lot of people and you have to wait sometimes. However, I do enjoy coming here ( something I do often ) so there's pretty much not anything to be upset about. read more
