I recently saw an ad on instagram about this photo studio regarding a giveaway for a session of my…read moredog and I was amazed but hesitant when I won. Don't get me wrong the place is great and the ambience and the photographer was amazing in 15 mins he captured an amazing picture of my dog. BUT I will say even though I had a good experience in that aspect it doesn't mean I agree at all with this Bait tactic. Seems like the purpose is to trick you into thinking you won but so does a ton of other people... I think that how they keep in business. Once you're there you realize all pictures are overpriced. You only get one "free" photo you still have to pay 20+ dllrs for shipping and it's only a physical picture that takes about a month to be delivered (also a $100 deposit is needed to save your spot but I did end up getting my refund shortly after thank goodness). If you want any digital pictures and or frames is a ridiculous amount of money which if that's In your budget that's great! Im grateful for the one picture I got. As for me I won't be coming back I feel like the approach and pushiness for you to buy and trick you is ETHICALLY WRONG and horrible BAIT tactic. Also they only have that kind of outdated dark background but again that might work for some.

I felt included in the overall process and that made the experience that much better. Turnaround was also very fast. I had them emailed to me within a few hours. Definitely recommend. I found him when I was frantically looking for someone to take fresh headshots of me for a thing I was cohosting. By the time I stumbled on his work, I had a couple of photographer friends ready to do the thing for me, "because gallery sittings just aren't worth it," but then when I linked them to his work, everyone agreed that this was something else entirely. I'm terrified of being photographed and I objectively look a bit or a LOT like a pile of sweaty laundry at all times, but Pedro managed to get several shots of me that I'd eagerly post out to the world. He's patient, and empathetic, and very, very skilled. Do a sitting with him and treat yourself to the once-in-a-lifetime experience of getting art made of yourself. I only wish I'd been able to book a family shot with him before he so RUDELY relocated. ;)
