I was referred to American by a friend, and they hit the ball out of the park at every customer touchpoint. I had the pleasure of working with Curtis first. He came to my home to give me a quote, and the thing I appreciated the most was that I never felt like he was trying to oversell me. He provided me with education, walked me through all my options, and gave me his honest opinion about what I truly needed versus what would be "nice to have." In an industry where most consultants are concerned about their commissions, Curtis made me feel like he was genuinely concerned about my needs, my pocketbook, and my satisfaction with my purchase. This is how you secure a customer for life. I was also extremely pleased with my installation team. I would like to give special thanks to Angel and Evan. These two were warm, respectful, and professional. They were sensitive to the fact I was working from home during the install, and they made every effort to allow me to do my thing while they did theirs. Angel did an awesome job correcting some issues he found in my attic. He shared pictures of his work and the quality really shone through. I feel confident that my system will live through many scorching AZ summers. In addition to the care I received from these hardworking techs, I was also super pleased that American offers interest-free financing for qualified customers. Obviously a new system is a huge investment. Having the option to make payments helps me balance this major purchase with my other priorities. I will continue to refer friends and family because I know Brian and his team will do the best thing for them as they would their own family. ***Our Experience*** Lilly the Office Manager was insightful, caring, and courteous when we initially called to schedule our maintenance last fall and our no cool in June. Alex explained the options to fix our 28-year old unit, including replacing it. The owner Brian called shortly after to help us choose the new unit that made sense for us. He was objective, through, and patient while explaining operations, pros, and cons of each unit. The focus was getting our family taken care of, not a sale. As expected, our installation was flawless with Justin and Alex being kind, professional, on time, and patient with questions. Since installation, Brian has reached out to me to ensure everything was working properly. He's helped me understand and improve some airflow issues without trying to book a service call.

Thankfully, the technician scheduled to come out got sick so they missed the appointment (and did a good job notifying me) which gave me the opportunity to call another service. Their competitor (Jaycox) was clear and to the point--allowed me to ask questions, and immediately quoted a fraction of the price to service my HVAC's--much to my wallet's delight. And I just really didn't want to talk to that salesperson anymore. So, while Sorensen is probably a good company, unfortunately my experience with them was rather off-putting.

So, I was getting a new dryer and decided it would be a good time to clean out my dryer lint vent…read more I ordered a kit with a round brush and some flexible rods that you attach to a drill and feed through the vent to clean out the lint. Sounds simple enough, right? So the flexible rods that screw together unfortunately separate while I'm using the drill and the brush and several of the rods are stuck inside the duct. I watch a YouTube video explaining how to remove it (it apparently happens frequently) by buying additional rods and attaching a "corkscrew" made from a wire hanger which you feed into the duct by hand to hopefully "grab" onto the brush and pull it out. You guessed it, that got stuck too. I called King Air Duct Cleaning and Lance (the owner) assured me that he understood the issue and he would be able to squeeze me in so I could start using my new dryer. Lance was here this morning and he was amazing. Within 20 minutes he had both of the pieces removed from the duct and all of the built-up lint cleared. Then he hooked up my new dryer, tested the airflow and assured me everything was good to go! And the cost was about 1/3 of what I thought it would be! Highly recommended!!!

I asked him to let me know when he was on his way so I could notify her. Not only did he do that, but he notified me again before he knocked on the door to make sure he wasn't waking her up! The cleaning was textbook; he cleared the lint the size of a ball from the vent, did NO upselling, charged exactly what I was quoted and was done quickly. And my clothes now dry on the first load!
