I came to pick up my online order on Tuesday evening. I love Sizzler but my steak that I ordered medium was overcooked and rubbery. I was looking forward to their steak and was highly disappointed when I got home. I also ordered the works on my baked potato and the sour cream was missing but I did get two containers of butter. I believe they may have grabbed the wrong container. This is the reason for my stars not being 5. Staff is great and friendly. Restaurant is clean. Ample parking. I will be back. The fried wings and drumsticks is over fried and darker than before. Recently noticed the Guacamole has changed too. It is frozen. Don't come to this place. I won't be coming back anymore myself. I've been coming here for over 15 years. 2 or 3 times a month. Today was the last time. There were multiple issues: 1) there is no senior menu any more. They have have essentially increased the pricing for giving you LESS. Not just increased the price but ALSO give you much less. 2) they have removed items from the salad bar. The orange chicken is gone. That was the best item. 3) wings were over done. Multiple batches and they were all hard and dry. 4) the soups were horrible. Chicken soup was runny and flavorless. Clam chowder lack flavor as well. Not the first time that has been the case but I thought it had been a one-time event. Things have been declining for a bit. Today was one thing too many. Goodbye bye sizzler. Ran a few errands along Hawthorne Blvd when hunger pangs kicked in. I also wanted to try something new and as I drove by, this popped out more than any other place. So I turned into the parking lot. It was early lunch-ish so the line was short. My go-to was the steak and AYCE shrimp back in the day, but knowing my metabolism is not as high, decided on the steak and jumbo crispy shrimp. Got an Arnold Palmer to wash it down. Sat on a booth, welcomed by my awesome server Ebony not too long after, got my receipt and was back not too long after that with my grub. Service was fast! My steak was a perfect medium. Jumbo crispy shrimp was made to order hot, crispy on the outside juicy in the inside and rice pilaf was perfect. Other than a dab of A1 steak sauce here and there, seasoning on everything on my plate was amazingly delicious and satisfying. FOOD: 5. Excellent. It's exactly what I wanted and got! SERVICE: 5. Ebony checked on me often to make sure I had everything I needed. She picked up clutter I may have built up. She was perfect. VALUE: 5. Not too bad for the quality and quantity. PARKING: Private lot shared with others. Huge. Not an issue. OVERALL: 5. The experience was so good, I came through a second time with company before I got the chance to write a review. Bf and I were looking for a restaurant to order take out from tonight (Christmas Eve) and we both decided on Sizzler. We've never had it before and the menu looked pretty solid. Their prices are much higher if you order through a 3rd party app for pick up or delivery so we ordered directly from their website to get their regular pricing and just picked it up. I got the ribeye with a baked potato. The steak was a tad more done than I would have liked but the steak was still delicious! The baked potato was cooked perfectly, but we ordered two loaded baked potatoes and they only gave us toppings for one. My bf got the tri-tip with a lobster tail and a baked potato. He said his steak was great, cooked perfectly and he enjoyed the lobster and baked potato! Overall, a good meal for the price. We had low expectations but honestly, we would come back! I actually love the salad bar at Sizzler. I'm able to get my favorites .. fresh spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms, olives and croutons. I can put in as little or as much salad dressing as I want, which is always balsamic vinaigrette. But, there are so many other salad options and combinations available, including a hot bar and soups. My husband goes for their steak combinations, which are tasty, but a tad small and not too tender. Our servers are always pleasant and hardworking. Booth and table seating, with a few tv screens in the restaurant. For me, the salad bar is well worth it. It's always well stocked and is perfect for me. Parking is plentiful. read more

I was surprised Sizzler was still around but I'm glad. Relatives introduced me to Sizzler when I was little kid. And honestly have never had a steak from them. It has always been the salad bar. Since Souplantations no longer exists, this is the closest thing to it. Be no means is Sizzler's salad anything compared to Souplantations, and I'm not comparing them as Sizzler is steak restaurant where the salad bar is a side, not the main. With that said, the salad is the bare minimum for you to make. Think of the salad bar at Ralph's supermarket. There's enough to make an okay salad. They do have some premade salads along with some pasta salads. They have 3 soups which are good. The chicken noodle is ummy. They have other hot food like items to make a taco, nacho, or a spaghetti with meat sauce. My favorite is the crispy fried chicken wings. I can eat that all day if I could. The staff is ok. They don't talk. They just take your order. They take your dirty plates, and that's it. The decor is the same for the last 30 years. I'm sure there were some refresh and updates made as it was 30 years of dirty and grease on the floor. The windows aren't covered so there's some good amount of natural light shining in. read more

The mashed potatoes were just okay I would explore other sides. The salad bar was totally worth it, the dessert was soooo goood as well. That brownie / ice cream combo is chef's kiss. I was taken care of so well here. The staff on the floor and cashier were all kind. Only thing I'd change here is being able to tip after eating. 10.7.2025 I remember when this location was built, it's a good busy spot and has good wait staff however, in spite of this supposedly being a corporate store it's *very* worn out and not nice . The carpets are grimy beyond belief . The tables surfaces are all worn out / through . Food is always good , they keep the salad bar topped up and the soups are hot & tasty . I grew up going to Sizzler and hadn't been to one in years. My family was in Torrance on Sunday. We were hungry and decided to stop by Sizzler for nostalgic reasons. We were pleasantly surprised by the same quality and great service from long ago! The salad bar was fresh and my steak was cooked to perfection. Carlos greeted us and sat us at our table and began our drink order. I soon realized he was the manager. He was super friendly snd attentive. You could tell the entire staff was hard working. Sizzler used To be so yum! My daughter and I went yesterday to and although the food was well managed seemed very minimal. Some of the items we expected to see, such as soft tortillas, more pasta options at the hot bar. Big tomatoes slices would've been nice instead of the dice tomatoes . The service was excellent the the cashier was friendly and upbeat. When we asked for a specific item, the floor manager says they discontinued this item, but you can make request for it. Ok I need to vent about this Sizzler! On a Sunday when you see a large crowd you really should have two cashiers working! To stand in line for 30 mins to order is ridiculous! Excellent customer service SHE makes sure all her customers in the restaurant seating area We're taking care of. This is what I observed as I sat there eating my lunch thank you, Diane for all you do for the customers who dine @ Sizzler keep up the great job. One strong recommendation is that management sit down at each table or booth. Take a good look at your surroundings so you can see the walls are dirty. They have food stuck on them. The little lamps above the booth are filthy with dust. The ceiling has dust coming off the ceiling tiles and when that air conditioner is on, you could see the dust blowing in the air. This is the best Sizzler location I've dined at. Went right before closing time, I asked for a well done steak it was soooo delicious, and the house bread chef's kiss!!! Our server Allison was amazing very attentive, and the manager Angie was very sweet. You can tell all the staff enjoy working there. Came here on a Friday night and wait wasn't too long. Staff was friendly and attentive but the food quality seemed to have gone downhill from what I last remembered. Orange chicken from salad bar was way over sour with probably more flour coating than chicken. Ordered two tri tip streaks for my daughter and I. One came out well done and the other (pictured) was way over done in my opinion. Didn't want to even go thru the effort of having them remake it as I lost my appetite. I come to this Sizzler on my lunch break from time to time. I don't have any complaints about this location. I always get the salad bar on Fridays during the rush lunch hour. Be prepared to wait in line because when the clock strikes 12pm on Friday there is always a line. I have never gotten sick nor had a bad experience with the salad bar. I find the food flavorful. Yes I do think there can be more options, But I am satisfied. They do tend to be understaffed and it takes a while to receive my toast or refill on my drink. My husband also comes here and orders the steak and he really enjoys it. Like I mentioned the dining area is packed at 12pm on Fridays. The noise level isn't that loud. I was craving a big salad for dinner after the gym and found this location nearby on my way home. I was surprised to see it so thriving and busy! Dining area was clean and nice to see employees replenishing items and cleaning the salad bar. Needless to say I ended up making a "piled high" salad and all of the ingredients were fresh and tasty. I did make my way back for a couple of "make it yourself" tacos and got a few of their crispy chicken wings. I did save room for a little cup of their ice milk ice cream and was surprised to see sugar cones available. Staff was very friendly. My young son and I visited for lunch. I had chicken cordon bleu entree with veggies. I appreciated that the veggies were fresh and not overcooked. It was a nice no-carb gluten free option. My son ordered a kid's meal burger with fries. Fries were perfect. Hamburger looked the size of a regular burger (what a deal) and was very juicy - we asked for medium rare and it was cooked exactly to that wellness and was well seasoned. This burger was so much better than the overcooked hamburger hockey puck we got from Red Robin over the weekend. We have to say we didn't have high expectations for Sizzlers and were humbled to have our socks blown off! Service staff was very nice and attentive too.
