I brought the car back to them and explained everything, but after nearly two full days with no communication, I had to call myself. They told me they'd have an update in 20 minutes and that it would be ready by then. Instead, I received an estimate for over $1,000 worth of repairs. Keep in mind, I explained the oil wasn't leaking before the service, but they just kept insisting it was a "broken cover." They didn't even seem to consider that their oil change might have caused the problem. What's worse is they weren't even willing to take responsibility for any of it, only agreeing to cover a small part of the repairs--yet that still wouldn't fully resolve the leak. This place used to be amazing; I've recommended them to so many people because of their great customer service and unbeatable prices. But after this, I'll never be coming back, and I certainly won't be recommending them anymore.

Recently, my Ford Explorer's steering wheel locked, hindering turns. Following three estimates, I chose B&K Imported Auto Services Repair Bodyshop in Henrico VA, owned by Julian Morales, for a rack and pinion replacement and alignment at a reasonable price. Regrettably, the final invoice exceeded the initial quote by nearly three times. Upon reviewing the invoice, I discovered an inflated part cost and contacted Mr. Morales. He subsequently refunded the discrepancy after I presented evidence of the overcharge. This ordeal emphasizes the significance of verifying estimates, scrutinizing invoices, and being vigilant against potential price exploitation. Ps : per my requests he didn't have a choice but to provide me the invoice from the store he had bought the part , which shows a big difference on the price he charged me ,plus surprisingly it was a core for $359 back to his bussines credit card ( core is what the auto part bussines will refund you once the old part is sent back , this is common in some parts of your vehicle , it's always good to ask those questions to auto parts business )my car is fix but this experience with this person /business , has left a bad taste in my mouth , needless to say ,I will be reporting his business to BBB

I have used this shop for nearly 20 years with 5 star experiences, but my last repair did not go…read morewell -- 2 stars at best. A problem undiagnosed for months had the potential to damage my car's engine. This was disappointing after so many years of superior service. I still recommend Blvd Auto Repair for routine maintenance, state inspections, or repairs which can be computer diagnosed, but I'm unsure about the team's manual diagnostic skills. Over a year after spending around $1,000 for an AC compressor replacement, I've made about 10 visits to the shop and am out about $700 in additional parts/labor (two blend door motor replacements, climate control unit replacement, relay replacement), none of which solved intermittent problems with the AC randomly turning off and blowing hot air or the heater either blowing air so hot it burned my ankles or the system not working at all. No offer of even a partial refund for labor or parts was made. My report of a sizeable puddle of fluid under the car after the AC compressor replacement was brushed off as condensation. A SINGLE trip to another mechanic resulted in a successful repair. (To be fair, the overheating engine was a helpful clue). Still, for over 8 months Boulevard Auto Repair failed to notice a significant leak in my engine cooling system caused by a coolant supply pipe which was rusted through. I'm disappointed that the reported large puddle under the car wasn't investigated more thoroughly last fall. Had that happened, the engine coolant issue may have been found sooner and the cost of replacement AC parts/labor may have been avoided. Apparently excess heat in the engine compartment -- not AC system issues -- was behind the AC compressor overheating and shutting down. Looking for the cause only in the AC system resulted in costly repairs that may not have been necessary. Missing the issue with the coolant leak could have put my engine at risk for damage. Bottom line? My confidence in the shop is not what it used to be.
