This weekend I decided to visit Six Shooter Coffee in the Waterloo Arts District, and I really enjoyed my time. The staff were so friendly and the patrons seemed like they were at home. You could tell that they have a loyal customer base which creates a beautiful community in the coffee shop. The decor and plant selection were beautiful! I decided to try the Maple Masala Latte, which really impressed me! It had an orange infused maple syrup as well as garam masala. The spices balanced out the latte so well. It was so smooth. Best latte I've had in a while honestly. I also got a spinach feta danish which was delicious. They have a great selection of food items! I really enjoyed my time at this coffee shop as well as the people that I met. Just a great experience overall. read more

Stopped by upon the recommendation of the amazing Stephanie S and boy oh boy was she right, this place was amazing. I liked it so much I went through the line TWICE. First I went with my standard cold brew order and their ham and cheese toastie for lunch before I hit the road out of town. As I was sipping my delicious cold brew and waiting for my sandwich I remembered Stephanie recommending their espresso tonics and decided I should probably give it a try while I was there. So I got back in line and made a follow up order of their amaretto tonic and also grabbed bag of beans since I liked the coffee I was already drinking so much. The awesome barista asked if I wanted them to grind the beans for me and I gratefully accepted the offer. The follow up question was how I was planning to prepare the coffee (the marker of a spot that cares about their product!) and I responded it would likely be a cold brew (tis the season!) so a coarse grind it was. After they ground me up I hung out a bit enjoying the ambiance because the space is REALLY cute. I love their brand aesthetic, a western vibe but in a hot pink and teals palette, making it a bit more playful with a pop art spin. They also have huge windows with great natural light making the whole place bright and cheery. It just made me happy to be in there. I have to admit I'm not sure if an espresso tonic is for me but it was super interesting and thoughtfully developed so I'm glad I tried it. My ham and cheese toastie was really good and it was the perfect sandwich to eat on the road. Excited to use the beans I brought home for our next cold brew, too! read more

Never thought I'd enjoy espresso with ginger beer, but Six Shooter has made me a fan of the fizz. They mix espresso shots with a seasonal syrup (most recently I had cranberry) and top it with ginger beer. This is one of the most refreshing coffee drinks I've ever had. I love trying the different specialty ones they offer. They also have some new coffee beans. I haven't purchased them yet because the bags are $30, but they look nice. read more

This was a really good latte and they were open late for a coffee shop. Based off of the reviews, I ordered an Iced Honey Vanilla Latte. I love a good coffee forward drink that is subtly balanced with cream and sugar in the background and finishing out with strong notes of coffee. With that being said, I am leaving a "meh" review due to it being pretty expensive for a cup that's small and 2/3 filled. I would definitely try it again down the road or try another location. read more

Great spot! Was in Cleveland for a show down the street and had some time to kill. Stopped in for a quick Americano and sweet treat and thought they were good enough to warrant a positive review! This cute coffee shop reminded me of a snug little place I used to go to study in Bloomington, IN when I was a college student at IU. I have happy memories of those times. I think that Six Shooter has a chance to replicate those happy memories! Also, it appears that the beans used at Six Shooter are roasted in the space next door which is very cool! Now that's uber-local! I know the days of $2-3 coffees are gone so I ordered the next cheapest (iced) item on their menu - the seasonal 12oz Iced Horchata Latte. It has rice milk, condensed coconut milk, and cold brew, which is then shaken and poured over ice and then cinnamon syrup is added and cinnamon is dusted on top. I found this combination delightful! I especially liked the beans used in the cold brew. I don't have the budget to buy a bag of $20 beans (gulp!) but the beans used were very smooth. I normally hate drinking my calories but I'm thinking of this as a little "treat!" It even kind of tasted like dessert. I don't spend a lot of time in Collinwood even though it is less than a 10 minute drive, but if I can ever nab one of their comfy chairs, I would love to come by and do some work here! read more

This is a delightful gem of a coffee shop in the middle of Collinwood, OH. I enjoyed visiting here a couple mornings during a family trip to the Midwest in July 2023. Street parking is free and available in the mornings. The coffee shop is a local meeting place for the community where everybody knows your name. I liked the artsy interior and welcoming vibe of the place. Would highly recommend a regular cup of coffee or espresso-style drink. Both were excellent options. The service was friendly and professional. It feels really nice to support independent businesses like this coffee shop. If you're driving up I-90 northeast of downtown Cleveland, it's worth making a special visit to the coffee shop if you have a few extra minutes to enjoy a bit of caffeinated bliss in a calm setting! read more

The atmosphere here is quite nice. Great place to get some work done with lots of windows and tables. Staff was friendly and engaging. They have a few minimal amounts of treats here. They have some seasonal drinks that look interesting I did not try. I had a Cornado, the flavor was spot on delicious. The presentation was very average. I like to have a nice presentation, but ultimately what matters is the flavor and since it was delicious five star. We purchased a chorizo burrito that was delicious. Perfect crunch, nice and toasty warm. They make these fresh every morning in their kitchen and have them prepared and ready to go just needing reheated in there Panini grill. My friend and I had heard good things about Six Shooter coffee so we made a trip out to the Waterloo arts district to try it out. The space was clean and the baristas were friendly and helpful. The coffee is roasted in house, and there is a good variety of drinks, from tea to hot chocolate, especially coffee drinks. There is even a rotating seasonal menu. Pastries, bagels, and other breakfast items are also available. The shop was busy on a weekday mid-morning, but everyone was taken care of quickly! I ordered an iced horchata latte and my friend got a nitro, we also ordered two bagels. The bagels were so good, we ate them before we left the store! There was seating inside but we decided to take our coffees to go and walk around the neighborhood and admire the art. The coffees were so amazing that we stopped to get more for the drive home! This is my favorite coffee shop in Cleveland! I live nearby and go here multiple times every week (sometimes more than once in a day..). Myself (and my dogs) love all the baristas and it's such a cute shop. All of their drink options are great, and their food & pastries are awesome. Amazing nitro coffee!!! I was blown away at the flavored selections of nitro coffee they have on tap. I have never seen such a creative selection of flavors and I've been to tons of coffee shops over the years. They have cereal milk flavored nitros which we were kindly given samples for and that alone sold us on the quality of their coffee. The staff is super friendly and helpful with any questions we had. I ordered a seasonal tahini black salted caramel latte and my wife ordered the Trix nitro latte and simply amazing! We are excited for them to get indoor seating whenever that may happen but at least there is seating outside which may be brutal in the summer. Walked in here from Waterloo arts festival. Omg their seasonal drinks were out of control! My boyfriend was obsessed that everything decaf was so easily accessible. I got the match colada and when I finished it, there was a delicious piece of pineapple in the drink that I then devoured. The interior is cozy and trendy. It was busy but ona quieter day I could've sat in there for a bit just slowly sipping a delicious drink. The names for the draft options too were so creatively pleasing. My party of 5 visited from out of town. A local friend shared that this was his favorite cafe to visit every time he passes by and I could see why. It's in the waterloo district and during the winter, there was plenty of side street parking. Our visit was all about the drinks though - we ordered a nitro and mostly from the seasonal menu: cookies and cream latte, ginger pear cappuccino, mocha, and chocolate orange cappuccino. I was hesitant at first with all the interesting and fruity flavors. They all turned out to be solid choices. My favorite by far was the ginger pear. I am a bit of a coffee junkie! I love traveling and trying fun and different coffees and love seeing how every roaster approaches their roast profiles. I tried their new Guatemala that they just started featuring this week, and believe me when I tell you, you can not go wrong! It is full body, with a beautiful fruit to it and a nice bright finish! The shop is super cute and the vibe is fantastic! I also got to meet the roaster, who I assume was the owner as well, and she was so welcoming and kind. Love how the special drink menu changes for every season and I also love how the whole place is decorated, its a very cozy atmosphere with lots of plants and cool wallpaper. The Chica Morada was awesome, strong cold brew added to house made Peruvian punch, the purple corn in the punch gives the drink a cool dark purple color, pineapple adds some fresh sweetness, and the warm spices give the whole drink a mulled wine taste. They have lots of food and bakery to eat including the vegan brownie I had which was very fudgy. Their bags of coffee are great for making coffee at home, the Brazil Santos and Collinwood Espresso are both awesome, and they contribute a portion of their sales to support organizations empowering people returning home from incarceration which is very nice. read more

This is quality coffee and I am sad so see that this coffee shop does not get the business it deserves! They have cold brew on tap that I got to try each of. The blueberry flavor was a bit sour for me, but they also have a deep bourbon one that was surprisingly warm, sweet, with caramel notes. They have pastries from local business, and although it is a small shop, there weas plenty of seating on the times i have visited. They have excellent crafted coffee cocktails as well. This is my new favorite coffeehouse. This place is a gem. While out running errands, this place come up on an internet search for nearby places. I am so very glad I stopped.
