Ube & Matcha Mochi Donuts w/ Rose Sparkling (Perrier) Honey drink
    Ev L.

The mochi donuts are delicious!! The inside of the restaurant is pretty small but also has very cute decor. My drink and donuts were gorgeous. 10/10 presentation. The lady at the register was very kind and quick to fix my problem when she accidentally gave me the wrong donut! I would definitely visit again. Note, there is no public restroom so don't go in there expecting to pee, lol.

I quite like The Sweet Spot. The aesthetic gives floral and dainty with a splash of hello kitty. I have only tried a couple items on the menu - a donut and iced year - but both were very tasty. I appreciate that "sweet" doesn't mean just sugar. You can appease your sweet tooth without giving yourself a cavity, and this place strikes the right balance. The seating isn't particularly comfortable but the customer service is great. I'm just more likely to grab and go than linger. It's indeed worth checking out!

Sweet Spot is awesome Cafe in Cleveland you simply cannot miss The host is super friendly who answered all our questions and served me. Had the Ube and cotton candy donuts. Don't bother with the cotton candy, get the Ube. Croffle Croissant Waffle was the best I have had in Ohio. We do not have many options of those around here. Unique and delicious. Beautiful surroundings and unique offerings. I'd go back and would recommend however I can definitely see it wouldn't be everyone's kind of thing.

Located in university circle, this is a great place to grab dessert with friends! They have mochi donuts, croffles, and other dessert selections. My friend and I ordered the strawberry croffle, matcha and ube mochi donuts. The mochi donuts were not overly sweet, and still had a nice crunch on the outside with a soft and chewy texture. The croffle was also very delicious, using whipped cream as the topping with fresh strawberries. Again, not overly sweet very delicious. The croffle was on a popsicle stick, but I wished they had fork and knives to make it easier to share. Nevertheless, this place is very delicious and I recommend it!

    Soft opening today!

If you've got a sweet tooth, The Sweet Spot will definitely hit the spot. The mochi donut trend is something you didn't know you needed in your life if you haven't had one before. You'll probably be drawn in first by the highly Instagrammable wall seen through the storefront window - the floral and brick motif lends pops of color throughout the shop. The scent of fried dough will greet you next, and a line of other salivating customers. On soft opening day, things were busy and there was a bit of a wait as the donut supply tried to keep up with donut demand. However, each little ring of dough still managed to look consistently eye-catching. And, while I had tunnel vision for the donuts, I actually had time to look through the rest of the menu which includes Croffles, Tiramisus, and other refreshing drinks. The best deal is a box of 6 donuts, which saves you about $3. I know, it seems like a lot for a donut, but I promise it's better than Dunkin'. My favorites were the Black Sesame and Strawberry donuts; I was a little disappointed that the Ube wasn't stronger. They feel lighter and chewier than a regular donut, like you could eat the whole box in one sitting. The employees were really friendly despite the rush of people and worked efficiently with each other. There's plenty of small tables in the front and back of the store and a pretty swinging chair for extra vibes. I'm very curious about the rest of the menu once they open in force and hope they'll gain a loyal following!

This is attached to the Pho spot next door and is a cute place for dessert post-dinner. Their specialty seems to be a croffle, which is a waffle made from croissant dough. They top it with cream and a variety of fruits. This was super delicious. I've also tried their tiramisu, which was not like a typical tiramisu, more like a tiramisu-inspired custard, but still good. They also have soft serve that was super creamy and refreshing. I have yet to try any of their drinks so I'll definitely need to come back for that. The staff were very friendly and the space is adorable. There's a lot of cute decor, walls where you can write messages on, and even one of those cute aesthetic chairs that make the perfect backdrop for a photo. Definitely a fun post-dinner dessert spot.

Slow service but friendly and pretty unique baked goods. Delicious mayo seaweed pork floss sweet savory cake and stale yet still tasty and delicious coconut mochi donut.

Love the menu, the aesthetics, the taste of the food, the presentation but don't love how they don't make enough to supply people who have a 9-5 schedule. I went around early dinner time (6-6:30pm) and literally all their baked goods were gone. I read so much and saw all these beautiful pics on Instagram and their website for their colorful croffles and doffles but there were only 2 left--1 chocolate almond and 1 red bean butter. Both were delicious and truly like a croissant waffle but I was not able to try their mango, strawberry, blueberry, matcha flavors with cream. The drinks are kind of pricey though. The atmosphere was just bizarre. There are 2 functional claw machines blasting the most annoying music on full volume at conflicting intervals. You really cannot just relax and eat your food because there are 3 songs being played at the same time and it's so discordant. Would love to come back but it's kind of impossible to go any other time than dinner/dessert...so please just make more of your fruit cream croffles at all times! They will sell, don't worry!

Pretty cute dessert spot located in the heart of University circle. Bright colors and flower decor all around. Donuts are the trendy Mochi donuts that is squishy and soft! The cakes were OK but I would definitely try the donuts. I heard the boba is pretty good but didn't order this time. A nice different addition to the University circle area.

My friend and I stopped in for the soft opening during lunch today. She got a half dozen mochi donuts and I got a chocolate almond croffle (crossaint waffle). There was a little bit of a wait, being the first day and all, but the sweet treats were quite tasty. Looking forward to stopping back in to try out a tea.

This place did not disappoint. We had the Mochi donuts, soft serve ice cream (matcha & Ube twist), soy Mochi tiramisu, brown sugar boba pudding, and oreo layer cake. Everything was very good including the service! The decorations were instagram worthy too!

The mochi donuts are so good. The other desserts looked nice. Very small. They have a patio on the plaza by the MoCA.

Very nice. I had no idea I was getting a shake however since the menu option was for a variety 4 pack of hot cakes. The shake name was on there but the menu doesn't lead one to believe it wasn't just a hot cake flavor. Somehow I chose three flavors and the shake but got four hotcakes so the menu could be clearer. The hotcakes weren't hot but weren't cold. They'd be great if hot. The mess with eating these is unbelievable. They come in paper sleeves and with the first bite the sweet syrupy filling bursts out the other end which will leave whatever it hits in a super sticky coating. Beware. None of the hotcakes were labeled and they all tasted very similar despite one having some chocolate filling in it so I have no idea what the Space Invaders etc cake taste like. Was ordered at 742, immediately confirmed, and I picked it up in 20 minutes. You walk in to this food hub and check in on the tablets and then go to the front counter where your order is scanned out and given to you. There are five or six "restaurants" selling food through orders made on a very slow website without any way to call anybody if there is a question. That is a big drawback in my opinion if there is a question or error made.

The place smells AMAZING and is frankly intoxicating I am convinced if you were considering not getting something or a small of something that smell inside the place intoxicates you to where moderation goes out the window. Today I opted for a split single of fresh strawberry and mint chocolate chunk.
