We found Sitter4paws on Yelp in looking to replace our prior cat sitter. Our three cats love being around people and for some reason never wanted to be around our prior sitter. The 'kitty cam' revealed some reasons why ;) Sitter4paws is fantastic! We have had two sitters with them (Mia and JT) and our cats love them. The sitters stay for the full contracted time, show up on a consistent schedule and, most importantly, fully engage our pets. After taking care of the food, box, barf, and etc., the sitters would literally sit on the floor and play with the cats for the balance of the visit. The 'kitty cam' revealed that the folks at Sitter4paws are professional, trustworthy and engaged. We also really enjoy the daily pictures and report they submit after each visit (most of their pictures are even better than those that we take). Our pets seem to really look forward to the Sitter4paws staff (literally waiting in the hall when they hear them getting ready to enter). They certainly get a bit more play and attention those days. My dog does not like everyone so I was really worried about using a dog service. But I met Mia, who runs the service and my dog instantly loved her! I'd never seen him so happy with a dog sitter. I told her I wasn't sure he would do just as well with any of the other walkers, so she's been able to walk him every time. Mia sends me pictures and updates every time she walks him. I found sitter for paws on yelp and couldn't be happier. We've been with them for over 6 mos for my beagle Toby and he loves Mia and all the staff. Lifesavers! Mia at Sitter4Paws SFV came through on the 11th hour to take care of my dog. I was called away on a family emergency very last minute and my regular pet sitter was no where to be found. I found Sitter4Paws on Yelp and after reading the reviews I decided to give them a call. As most pet owners know, our dogs, cats, etc. are not just pets but a part of family. I am so lucky I found this company for my dog, Magnum. At first I was scared to leave him in the care of someone else but I was comforted by updates and pictures of him having a blast during his boarding! The owner, Mia does a great job of making sure the dogs in her care are all friendly and love other dogs. When I picked him up from boarding, I could tell Magnum had such a great time! He was all smiles and wanted to show me all his new friends! Now that I'm back in town I have sitter4paws come to take him out during the day for walks and a potty break. My roommate and I have used Sitter4Paws for several years now and can't imagine using any other service. Mia and her staff have always provided visits for our dogs when we've gone away for vacations, and our dogs have always loved the different sitters who've come. I've had the opportunity to meet some of the sitters myself; everyone's been great and extremely knowledgable about dogs in general, as well as pet lovers, so I have no fears about leaving my pets' care to them during those times when I have to be away.
