The amount of love, patience, communication, and genuine care they give them is something really rare. You can tell they truly care about the animals they watch and pay attention to each dog individually instead of treating them like "just another dog." My dogs are always happy, comfortable, loved, and excited when they see them, which honestly says more than anything I could write. We adopted a dog from the city shelter with the intent of training him. He was calm and loving at…read morethe shelter, but when we brought him home, although still extremely loving and loyal, he exhibited much more energy than we bargained for. We set up a consultation with Logan at Born Free, which was money well spent. I recommend it to anyone who is thinking about training their dog and who knows little about dogs. First, Logan was quite knowledgeable and patient, as we were a family of 4 with many questions. He gave us a rundown of his experience in the field, and it was rather impressive. Logan explained in detail the various dog temperaments, a then gave a series of tests to our new adoptee. It was rather revealing what we learned about the dog. Logan was very pleasant and we didn't feel like there was a pushy sales pitch. His assistant Sydney was also delightful and kind. After meeting with Logan, we had to think hard about whether to keep this dog, and ultimately we decided it was not for us. Had we kept him, we would definitely have used Logan for his training. With the new knowledge about dog temperaments, we'll be looking for a better fit, and we'll go back to Born Free for training. I called Logan with this decision and asked him if he had any recommendations to put our dog up for adoption, since we didn't want to send him back to the shelter. Again, Logan was more than happy to share a few places that have nice facilities and treat their dogs very well. It's nice to know that there are still people in this world whose sole motivation isn't just money. Logan truly cares about dogs and treats people with courtesy and respect. If you're thinking about dog training, don't hesitate to call him. It was a real pleasure meeting him, and you'll be glad you called.

When we asked for a refund since the issue was on their end, we were told refunds aren't offered. Only after we pushed back did they move the other client so our session could proceed. During the session, Logan made multiple unprompted comments about past clients, including saying he knows most trainers in the valley and told his network not to work with a former client, later claiming the client came back "crying and begging."
