I've been boarding our dog Ken to this dog board and care for almost 3-4 years now whenever we have to go on vacation . Last year something changed, service has gotten cold.Today we picked my dog after 6 days and after giving him a bath we saw wounds on his ears that looked like bite marks! Ken used to love coming here but this last time he seemed scared! I should have followed my gut and not left him there. He looked so lonely and aloof when they took the daily pictures on Facebook. They did text me that Ken has not been eating so I added cuddling time starting from the time they told me that he has not been eating. It's been a couple of years since I've taken my Golden Retriever to daycare so I re-enrolled him into Pawparazzi and had to take the temperament test again (which he passed.) I am extremely impressed how excellent the customer service is at Pawparazzi! It is a well-oiled machine. Kevin was gracious enough to allow me a quick tour of the new facility and it is so much larger than their previous location! I noticed how enthusiastic and attentive the staff is, as well as how adequately staffed they are. The private rooms are themed after cities such as Las Vegas and Hollywood and the dogs have human-sized beds, a plush blanket, a TV, and a webcam for the parent. The room where I would be boarding my dog would be the crate room which is a large room with crates side by side so he can see other dogs rather than crates being stacked and not facing each other. These details make a huge difference in how I feel about leaving my dog knowing he is able to see other dogs in their respective crates during bed time. As much as I'd like him to have free range during bed time for boarding, he is too rambunctious and will bother other dogs so the crate room is a nice alternative for still feeling like he's in a pack but allowing him to have his own space. The extra options for enhancing his daycare stay are wonderful! I was able to add a frozen peanut butter kong for my Golden to enjoy for lunch. They had bubble play time that day too. I also wanted to point out on their Facebook page they post a ton of photos each day of their daycare dogs. I like how they use 2 leashes to walk the dogs in case one leash breaks. These details make me feel comfortable since they are prioritizing the safety of the dogs at all times. I added the "pupdate" option so I can get photos and videos while I was at work and they were the highlight of my day! Clear photos, unfiltered, with a couple of 40-second videos showing my dog having a blast with other dogs. Will never be bringing my dog back here again. I have never seen my dog in so much stress when I got him back and he has stayed at multiple boarding facilities and dog trainers. I called throughout the week and never got an answer from them. I called the day of pick up 6 times with 0 answer until I actually arrived in person. Upon getting my dog he smelled like he was bathing in urine. It was dried up on his fur around his legs. When I got him he was also wet which all they did was spray some type of cleaning spray but all it did was make him smell worst and to cover up the fact that he likely was not let out when he should have been or was mishandled during his time there. He also has a broken nail on his hind legs from whatever they were having him do. Getting home he ran to his water like he hasnt drank all day. Absolute joke of a facility. I live in Marina Del Rey, but when it comes to boarding my husky who is now 10 years old, I don't hesitate traveling all the way (dealing with the 405 traffic) for Pawparazzi. I started bringing my dog (Toby the Bernedoodle) here in April 2023 due to the excellent Yelp reviews and they absolutely lived up to their reputation. They take the welfare of the animals very seriously and temperament test the animals in their care before allowing you to book any services. They want to ensure your pet adapts well and that there are no safety concerns for them or the other pets they may interact with. I also love their online client portal, it makes daycare and boarding requests so much easier to book and keep track of. Regardless of where you live in the San Fernando Valley, I would heartily recommend that you take the extra time to drive to PAWparazzi for your dog's boarding, daycare, and grooming needs. I live in the southeast valley, in Studio City, 15 miles away from PAWparazzi, with many other boarding and grooming facilities much much closer to me. But I am happy to drive over to Chatsworth because it is worth it. The people who work here obviously love dogs. Their care is superior. PAWparazzi is a very clean facility, roomy, airy, and adorable. They have a sweet day care area for play, a very tranquil nap and movie room for the 12-2PM hours, crate free boarding, crate boarding, private suite boarding, grooming, and a lovely fenced outdoor area for the dogs to get sun and play and potty. Their prices are extremely reasonable too. We spent $62 a night for crate boarding plus daycare, $25 for a short-hair bath, eight dollars for an extra brush out, and five dollars for a nail trim. That is an amazing deal! What's included is love! We received sweet texts from Monique and Savannah, with updates and photos of our pug, Nigel. We received reminder texts about their hours, to help us stay on schedule. When I called in the evening to check on our pug, we received a FaceTime from Jose, so we could see him bedding Nigel down for the night. I'm so touched by the obvious care, not just for our pug but for us too. Carrie is one of the handlers, and she is superb with animals. I've known for her for a long time, and I trust her completely. Many many thanks to Monique, Savannah, Jose, and Carrie. We really needed a weekend where we knew our pug was in good hands. In short, if you own a dog, do not think twice about utilizing PAWparazzi for boarding, daycare, and grooming. They go above and beyond to make sure each pup is truly looked after. The pictures, videos, and text updates are so helpful! I've been taking Momo-Chan there for over a year now and to this day, when she knows she's on her way to "school" she's SO happy and excited. She knows she's a HUGE bundle of energy, so she's always keeping everyone on their toes. She enjoys playing with all the dogs there, but she definitely has her favorite friends. She almost always fights us when it's time to go home because she doesn't want to leave. She loves the summer pool parties they have the best. Any chance I get, I recommend Pawparazzi to my friends with dogs. I really haven't found another place that makes us comfortable with Momo's care. We rescued Arco from a shelter where he lived for 4 years, coming from an abusive home. Arco was beaten by a previous owner to the point of losing an eye. He was fearful of most humans, especially men, and we've spent quite a few years trying to rehab him, with amazing results. We didn't want to leave him in the wrong place after working so hard with him, as he is still apprehensive about initial contact with people. We researched and decided on Pawparazzi, solely on Yelp reviews and as it turns out this was the best decision that we could have made. We were more nervous than the dog dropping him off, but after our initial meet and greet with the crew at Pawparazzi, we were trusting that he was in the right place. The first day was an adjustment for Arco and the staff sent us pictures and assured us that all would be fine. The staff also gave us updates during our vacation as Arco adapted beautifully. You have options with sleeping arrangements and daily activities with Pawparazzi and we chose daily daycare, which turned out great! Our puppy loves PAWparazzi so much!! Whenever we parked at their parking lot and our puppy Mocha knows it's daycare day, he will jump up and down and demand to get out. It speaks volumes how good PAWparazzi is. In the beginning, they will do trial half day daycare time to see whether the dog is a good fit. Called back that day they take big dogs . They have plenty of staff for the amount of dogs there. They offer training classes and other perks and benefits, they have movie time (so jealous). We are new to the area and were looking for a safe and responsible doggy daycare/boarding facility and we definitely found that, and more at Pawparazzi. Krista, the owner and founder, works there full-time and actually did the first initial call/check-in with me. They do a temperament evaluation for all of their dogs, so you're able to relax knowing every dog is safe for your pup to play with. They also have three different daycares for dogs that prefer a lot of play, older doggos, and small dogs! On top of that, they only allow 15 dogs per daycare (if I remember correctly), which is super small compared to some of the major pet retail boarding/daycare companies. Additionally, they were so aware of the hot weather, which was in the high 90s, and cut off outside play after 11am. You can even request add-ons to your boarding/daycare package, including doggie enrichment actives, pupdates of your dog (images and text from the day of your pup), frozen kongs, cuddle time, and more. I never thought I'd be one of those people who takes their dog to daycare, let alone love it, yet here I am. Initially my puppy Ivy attended puppy kindergarten with Karma Dog Training at PAWparazzi, and throughout her lessons I became acquainted with PAWparazzi and a few of the wonderful people who work there. One day I found myself in need of having her watched (let's be honest, puppies are ALOT of work), so I thought I'd give PAWparazzi a shot. I was so nervous to trust my fur baby to stay anywhere else than with me, and had so many doubts to whether or not it would be healthy for her. After that first stay, I was hooked. My puppy adored it, I adored the time I got, and at the end of the day, my Ivy came back happy, and tired (which was a plus for me because that means cuddles and puppy naps- a tired puppy is a good puppy). I soon found that my (then shy) puppy, would literally wait by the door in the mornings to be taken to daycare! She perks her head up the second I pull into the driveway and immediately jumps out of the car to go into daycare. She loves it. She's also become incredibly socialized (due to repeatedly coming to Karma then PAWparazzi) and gets so excited to see other dogs and people, it's been so healthy for her. Krista and every single one of the wonderful people who work there are always so sweet and attentive to both Ivy and I. Her behavior is always thoroughly communicated and shared, they work with her on training and manners while she's there, and they all truly do care about her. From bubble time to brain activities to cuddles to pure puppy energy being expended, I can't say enough good things about PAWparazzi. The value of being able to leave my puppy with people who I know not only care about her immensely but also are impeccably able to handle the behaviors/raising of a growing puppy, is immeasurable.
