The staff were so friendly and helpful! The bingo event was executed flawlessly, I was so amazed it was their first time hosting an event like that! The prizes were all gorgeous plants I would have picked out myself, and when two guests called bingo at the same time the staff graciously produced another plant of the same variety for the second winner. I missed the name of the woman calling numbers, but she was a great host and kept us laughing the whole time. After a competitive hour and a half of bingo, we were invited to shop the nursery at a 10% discount and ask any plant related questions we had. Matt, Mia, and Paul were all eager to share their knowledge, and I'll be back another day to meet Bailey, who was cited as knowledgeable about natives.

I was helped by someone very knowledgeable and courteous loading the plants and assisting with check out by my car. The selection here is amazing and all the plants look healthy and well maintained. The prices too were very reasonable for the size of the plants at that price point. They also had pottery and succulents. I enjoyed taking my time here it was a nice stroll like a small park with shady lanes and anything I could possibly need for my landscaping needs.

Josh Williams and his staff at Williams' Nursery are great people who give back to the community…read more Williams generously donated over $1,000 worth of Hawaiian Ti's, stromanthe and purple queens for a landscaping project at the Sanctuary on 8th Street that transformed its grounds from an eyesore to something beautiful for the children that go there. The plants were strong, healthy and vibrant, too. Williams Nursery has a wide variety of plants and flowers and because they were so nice I will surely patronize them in the future.

I told them the basic of what I wanted and I let them run with it. They came up with all the plants and the design and I even had a dry River Creek put down which is fabulous. It was one of the easiest projects I think I've ever been involved in and the project team that I worked with was great! They were the nicest bunch of people, so polite, on time, clean up was great including pressure washing my driveway. Darrell was the project manager that was responsible from start to finish. I pretty much left everything up to him and his expertise for suggestions, arrangements and most plants used. I wanted something low maintenance but aesthetically pleasing to the eye. His plan was perfect! Adam, the foreman, who actually supervised and did all the work out front was one of the nicest people you could ever meet. Even asking him to make a change or add something was not difficult, he was so agreeable to please the customer. His Workman Kaboba and Jay work together so well it was pretty amazing to watch it all come together. Would I hire them again for another project, absolutely!

Moving to Julington Creek right across the bridge, we needed shower curtain rods, keys and more keys, screws and such, cleaning stuff, and lot more. I also 'needed' a new canoe with all the extras along with new fishing supplies including bait and new lures. Yes, I know I have two big tackle boxes of lures and other things but, one can't avoid stocking up some more. Hagen has become a short bicycle ride from me and I like a local company versus that other big box store where the bins of bolts and screws are always topsy-turvy mixed up. They actually help you find the right bolt washer and nut you need and advise solutions to problems. Need to repot a lemon tree, they can recommend the right potting mix and pot. Want tips on what bait to use for fishing right there at the bridge nearby, they can help with rigging and bait. Want to find a good range for target shooting, these are guys with knowledge and patience. The ladies at the registers are cheerful, no pointing you to an unmanned register where they watch you like you might be stealing. Following the nose to the smell of popcorn brings a good reward too!

And I feel like the garden center employees are always just the nicest and you can tell they are so passionate about plants. And knowledgeable too! This is where I take all my questions. It's a good thing I don't live super close because I would be spending every day and all my money here. It's worth the drive tho any time. I can't wait to cook with some of the herbs I just bought!
