Stewart charged us a $150.00 restocking fee, told us that it worked fine and then sold it to an employee. This is bad business, @150.00 is a lot of money to charge a customer, that returned the light in good faith, because it did not work( but I guess the customer is never right) We paid for the pole attached also, an was given bad advise, because the one we had worked just fine for any light. Shame on you Stewart lighting and Nita for your behavior certaining this return. There was a reason your store was empty of customers. When the time came to do the same thing again and save the light fixture, he was able to provide me with a beautiful fixture and added 56 inch blades since it was for a 30' by 30' great room. The air flow is marvelous and far superior to the old fan. I will continue to visit Dan's Fan City for any ceiling fan needs.

I even offered to have him coach me in the repair so I could DIY it. The store is full of lights, interior and exterior. Really great pieces, from all price points. But back to my repair. He welcomed me to the back of the shop where he personally extended the length of the chandelier and explained that because it was a fast and straightforward repair, he was able to help me on the spot. I really appreciated willingness to help me and it was fairly priced as well. This is the first place I'll call next time I need lighting repair work.

As fancy and nice as this place is I didn't feel weird walking in covered in work with contractor boots and clothes covered in paint and drywall. They have no problem helping even if answering honestly means they don't get a sale. I needed help with an adapter and instead of trying to sell me something new or some specialty piece he gave me a free option to fix my problem. The knowledge they have is too notch and the staff are friendly and welcoming the moment you walk in. They have everything from the basic bulb to a $20,000 chandelier!! They do all things LED and everything in between. You could easily spend hours in the store and still not see everything, which is why the coffee bar is a GREAT touch. It belonged to my late father-in-law and means so much to my husband. It hadn't been used in decades, and I truly didn't know if it could be restored. I was hoping to surprise my husband while he was out of town, so I knew I had a small window to make it happen. Mark understood how important it was and went out of his way to help make that possible.
