I was impressed with their ingenious solution to the problem and the care that they took with our property and with our residents' cars and other belongings. First, they do free estimates. I've noticed of late that we are starting to get charged for estimates. The gentleman they sent out was very professional and friendly. He went right to work and produced a report within 24 hours. That's what I like to see and why we engaged them to do the work. Essentially what they do is grind down cement defects to an acceptable level such that no one can get hurt by stumbling on upturned cement. They had us move cars around the parking lot so that the cement dust did not settle on the cars. If some cement dust did drift, the two gentleman went and dusted and blew it off the cars. If we couldn't get the cars moved, they covered them. They also had a large industrial-style shop vac that they used to vacuum up after every defect they corrected. They are welcome to come and vacuum my house any old time! The care they showed with their belongings and also with those of the residents of my property pushed them up into the five-star range in a hurry. The trucks they brought were in great shape and well maintained; that alone often says an awful lot about a company (sort of mobile curb appeal if you will). They were routinely good-humored throughout the day they were here and very easy to work with. If this is something you need to have done on your own property or any property you manage, I can only say engage this company to do the work. I basically ordered 2 units (15 or so yards). While waiting for them to arrive, I was extremely worried about the possibility of them running out once the truck got here. After talking with the crew, they knew where to go and to spread it lightly across my entire yard. Not only did they make it, they had extra to blow in a specific area to bump up the depth so that my landscaping crew didn't ruin the situation I had stupidly created. After they were done, they cleaned up more than what they needed (my yard crew didn't show up the day before, so they blew over leaves as well). They cleaned up what the truck had deposited on the driveway and were gone in about 45 minutes. I cannot be happier with how this turned out. I use to spread bark dust by hand, and after a few summers of that I gave up. I'll never spread by hand again.

They are honest, open, communicative, and work like crazy to get the job done! Bill does really high quality work - he always explains in detail how he's tackling the job and sends a ton of photos so you can see what he and his team are doing at every step. One of my retaining walls (see photos) is in a really precarious location on a public sidewalk next to a busy street, but Bill and his team were able to handle it like true professionals. He estimated the work would take a few weeks, but after assessing the situation he decided that they needed to get the sidewalk cleared as quickly as possible so that people could walk by, so he brought in reinforcements and finished this wall in three days. Three days!!! No exaggeration - the "before" photo was taken on a Thursday, and the "after" photo was taken on Saturday! I have no idea how he pulled that off, but I so appreciate that he worked so hard to get the wall done quickly and cleaned up the area perfectly so that my neighbors wouldn't get mad at me :D Long story short, I feel really well taken care of by Bill and Sue - they treat you like family and I absolutely love my new "hawaiian style" wall :) Mahalo Bill and Sue!

We are not wealthy and this project was something we worked hard to be able to do in time for summer 2021. Unfortunately, I had to engage in mediation through the Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB) in order to address suboptimal workmanship, terrible project management, and an attempt to convince me that I received a product that I did not receive, created a lack of trust in the company. We are fearful that the reinforced section of the patio where we hoped to install a hot tub would not hold and may cause damage to our property and/or those using the tub. The result of mediation was the refunding of all but $1000 of the contracted price. Below describes the details of my experience with a patio installation done by Eternal Rock Construction, Inc. (1)The project was several weeks late and the day they came to begin spraying the concrete, their machine broke and they sprayed concrete all over our driveway and garage. They left that evening without cleaning up. It was days before a foreman visited our property despite our calling the company. (2) We were left with a partially complete patio for 5 days and only after a number of emails and phone conversations with members of the team did we eventually get a manager to send a crew to complete our project. To date there remain damages to our property that have not been repaired - latch on fence door, damage to a fence door. (3) The contract states that a patio will be installed using a sand finish. We certainly do not have a sand-washed concrete patio. The concrete is streaked gray, discolored, pock-marked, and with lines running through it. It looks nothing like the photos on your website, nor does it meet the description of sand finish. When I inquired with one of the on-site team members about my concerns related to the color and the finish, he stated "they must be using a different color sand concrete" and that the patio finish will "look better when it dries". This is not the case. (4) There is no moisture barrier installed between the concrete patio and home foundation in order to protect our wood siding from rotting over time. This is incredibly concerning to me and an indication of shoddy workmanship and a disregard for hardworking homeowners who are attempting to improve - not devalue/damage - their property value. (5) The sloping of the patio is extreme. When I spoke with the owner about the slope of the patio, he assured me this was necessary for water drainage but after conferring with another professional, I learned the grade of slope is far more than is necessary. We are hard-working folks who felt shafted by this company. I do not recommend them.

The Eternal Rock Construction is not keeping with the standards expected, very unprofessional.
