After we purchased the part and left we realized it was not the direct replacement but a universal part. When we got home and tried to use the part to replace our broken one it would not function after 8 hours of trouble shooting we decided to order an actual direct replacement online for a 5th of the cost of the one they sold us. We wanted to make sure it was not the part before we tried to return it (maybe something else was malfunctioning). When the new part finally arrived 2 weeks later. It took 5 minute to install and the ac works fantastic. So it was the universal part that was not working. I called to see if we could get even a partial refund. When I called the person working was incredibly rude. They kept speaking over me when I was simply asking about the possibility of a refund. They will not take refunds without the receipt which is fair. I know they also had a copy but he said they only use those to look up warranty info. I think in 2026 that is an ancient business practice, but again their choice. I was calm and kind on the phone and was not treated well at all. Even if I can find the receipt, they do not accept returns after 14 days even though the part did not work. So sad to say we will not take any of our business back there due to the lack of customer service and part that did not function.

I placed a pick up order from online and the cashier called the pick up order to be brought forward. The customer service and cashier argued back and forth about whether or not I even placed the order or was at the right store. I confirmed the information through the cashier while he was quite literally hacking up a lung. I can only assume how condescending the customer service people were with how the cashier was also sour to me. Eventually someone else came up to take the line and told me I could go back and they'd fulfill my order. Dumb and dummer were trying to redirect me to purchase a different bag of salt even though I'd already paid for what I wasn't getting. The system ace hardware was pretty stupid and this review isn't about how they couldn't fulfill my order, I don't blame the customer service people for the mix up because that was out of their control. The customer service employees (several. Very braindead expressions) just shrugged and said the only thing to do was cancel the order through my phone. Thank you for reading this novel of a review. Probably a sitcom working there and free entertainment to shoppers. Expect no service. A man was also waiting (from the time I arrived in the store until a little before I left) for a case to be unlocked. Surprising it took so long to help the man considering the group of 19 year old alternative kids in the back.

They also busted the door lock but I went to Hippo and they fixed that. I would avoid this store for repairs if i were you because they do the worst work I've ever encountered and don't stand behind it either.

The sales team will ask if you need help and walk you through the choices if you want. However, on the other hand the sales team will allow you to walk through the store and not bother you. When I arrived to pick up the lights, it was carry it yourself to the car. I know they have people on staff to help load but the sales lady didn't offer, matter of fact she stated there's your stuff and walked away. We will not purchase from her again if we return. The quality of the Salem lights is a little disappointing. The reason for the purchase was to purchase locally manufactured items, these were partially manufactured in Portland which was best we could do with the style we wanted. These are one noche up from made in China however the pricing is several noches up. The mirror is heavy. Make sure you follow the hanging instructions and please try to find a stud when hanging it.
