I asked him for the lower priced point mattress and he said if I want something cheap just go to Amazon. The Sit N Sleep motto should be "Kill them with kindness". Be aware of their return policies, read the fine print and compare it to big retailers like Costco, Macy's for the manufacture r warranty. Be fully aware of their Deceptive Trade Practices when you buy from them! And just check all the complaints at BBB "Better Business Bureau" against them (see screenshot). I purchased a king size Beautyrest X-Class medium mattress in November 2020 with tax for about $2,800; Not crazy expensive or expensive but a mid size budget. Since then and per manufacturer and store recommendation, I have frequently rotated this mattress (at least 6-8 times in the past two years) and It has been less than 31 months of the ownership and I am not doing any wrestling or crazy stuff on the bed except sleeping on one side of the bed and the mattress has sunk by 0.25" to 0.6" inch in different regions of the mattress and the mattress fabric has been torn. So this is how the return process or manufacturing warranty works at Sit N. Sleep. You call their useless customer services who are trained to listen well and do nothing. Then Sit N sleep sent some 3rd party inspectors to inspect the mattress. The inspection process and all of it is part of a show on doing nothing for customers. Once the inspection is done, the report is sent to Sit N Sleep and the inspector asks you to call the Sit N sleep store to work with the return/partial store credit or store credit toward the new mattress. In my case, the dip was not enough for the mattress to be exchanged or returned. FYI for readers that I purchased a mattress from Costco for a guest room and when I returned it after 18 months, none of this BS was involved. And in addition, if you buy your mattress from Purple or Casper, the 0.25" dip qualify the mattress for exchange or credit whereas Sit N Sleep requires 1.5" dip. So unless your purchased mattress from them get hit by truck or comet from sky, good luck to you on getting an inspection that works in your favor as my mattress had a dip of 0.125" to 0.3785" in different regions and it was not big enough pot holes for them to qualify it for exchange/return and never mind the torn fabric either! Now, I am not advocating that Sit N sleep should blindly take back any mattress after one year or when people just don't like their mattresses after one year but in my case where the fabric is obviously torn, some sort of repair, exchange or store credit is definitely warranted. But good luck to you if you buy from these highway robbers: You ain't going to get a dime back. Also keep in mind that most direct manufacture retailers and big retailers have at least one year days trial whereas with Sit N. Sleep offers you only 120 days and I doubt that they even honor that! And if you read their fine print on return, there is a 20% restock fee. And so it goes. At this point I'd settle for them to come and pick up the junk that they sold me but good luck with that. When you buy for them and if you are unhappy, be ready for their double-talk and run-around: they will do nothing to remedy the situation. read more

Bought a mattress in December of 2024. I exchanged it for a different mattress because it was uncomfortable. When I went back I told the salesman I want the same bed I bought for my son which was a FIRM Pillowtop and the information was in their system. The salesman said they don't make that mattress anymore and I said show me a similar mattress. He showed me a pillowtop mattress which was a more expensive mattress a Beauty-rest Black pillowtop. When the mattress was delivered I thought I was getting a FIRM pillowtop. The salesman ordered a Medium plush pillowtop which is too soft. Didn't realize till I slept on it that it wasn't a Firm pillowtop and it sagged in the middle. I called customer service and they sent a mattress investigator out and he said he can see the sag in the middle and that it was a Plush pillowtop. I received an email later that day saying my claim to exchange the mattress was denied. I only had the mattress 3 weeks and they refused to exchange it. I have purchased 4 mattresses through out the years and my parents bought 2. My family will no longer purchase mattresses from Sit n Sleep. They've lost a family of customers. I do not recommend buying anything from them. Very poor customer service. Also, the Beautyrest Black mattresses are not worth the money. You will be paying top dollar for a junk mattress. read more

I took delivery of my new mattress just a few hours ago and wanted to express my satisfaction. I first went into the Brea location (was in the area) and met with Tyson who showed a compassionate interest in finding the right mattress that fit my specifications. I was still undecided and a few days later visited this location where I met the Manager Shel. Shel patiently waited as I went through a few more test runs, I narrowed it down to two. I couldn't make up my mind as this was going to be a large investment that I didn't want to regret. Shel clearly saw my indecision adressed my concerns of price, performance, and longevity and in the end the choice was obvious. It was still a large investment but one that I felt comfortable with. The delivery was quick, on time, and professional. I buy everything online and have it delivered as to not get stressed out by salesman and the whole process...this was the easiest, smoothest, non stressful interaction I have had in a long time. I have purchased two mattresses from SnS over the last twenty years. The first was a cheap knock off. I had just seperated from my wife and needed a quick fix. Too bad on my part. The cheap ole ass bed lasted me five years before I needing another mattress. I'm wiser now. They put me on that rack of death machine and came away with a prescription for a type of semi-firm mattress. That was the best mattress I've ever had. I eventually gave it to my son as I was wanting one of those new foam mattresses. I'm still not wise. I found what I was looking for at a large membership store. A mattress that was like a reject from a trampoline park. Cost me $300 and I got a coupon for a hundred dollars off. I'm questioning my wisdom. I am now in the market for a good night's sleep and can afford a good mattress and, I still don't trust my judgement. I'll go to SnS to find what I'm looking for. I'm sure there's a mattress that has my name on it and it will be a God sent cause he don't trust my wisdom either. I wonder what type of mattress Larry sleeps on? They never would tell me. Overall I like having to go to one store that has a wide selection. I find they are just as competitive as any other store. We had a great experience in the Laguna Hills store. So much so that we ended up spending double what we had planned on a new mattress and adjustable base ,,, over $4,000. Delivery was great and they took away our old mattress. Unfortunately, that is where the good vibes end. First night and my husband complains how uncomfortable it is. We realize that one side of the mattress has hardly any structural integrity, you can't even it on the side of the bed without rolling off. It's okay, salesman promised us great customer service and satisfaction guarantee, so we call him. Nope, we have to go to head office. Seems inconvenient and different messaging to when you were selling to us but okay. Head Office inform us that we have to get assessed by an independent assessor but they can't come for 2 weeks! Did I mention that you can't really sleep on this bed and that they took our old mattress? So we wait 2 weeks but 15 mins before assessor turns up their car breaks down so no show. Back to Head office again and now we wait another week. Having read other reviews about the assessor process I am already concerned that we have wasted our money. So far I would say buyer beware, the store experience is great but the promises and guarantees about satisfaction and warranties that gave us the confidence to make this investment are lacking. read more

I walked in (after visiting 5 different mattress stores, and no one- compares to her) and she explained how everything works. From prices, the store layout and where the beds are, the way the beds are made, the brands, etc. so much good information! I learned a lot from her and so glad I met her. Ive been on a hunt for my 5th bed (online beds didn't work for me) within 1 year! So I desperately needed a bed that was supportive and affordable. Cause I'm done searching. My neck, shoulder, back pains are killing me. So I'm gonna invest in a good bed. I went in first time; looked around for about 2 hrs cause this was gonna be the last mattress I'm gonna look at until 10 years from now. Wonderful experience!! Our sleep consultant, Harry, was very friendly and knowledgeable. Right away he greeted us and started assisting us in our mattress shopping. We went to a machine that measures something about our sleep positions and then gives us our best mattress matches! It made it so much easier and made the process a quick breeze! We tried a few beds and loved them all. It was so hard to choose. I appreciated how Harry knew so much about the mechanics of each mattress and was really good at explaining the reasons and benefits of why a mattress is made the way it is. He even let me try a mattress comparable to those advertised online that you can't try out in a store. I was impressed with how much Harry knew about his competition and never once put it down. He simply explained the product and left the decision all up to us. In the end, Harry put a nice package together that included the mattress we wanted with a very good quality mattress cover to protect the warranty. It didn't feel like a sales pitch at all.
