I would strongly encourage anyone considering buying from this business to STEER CLEAR. I purchased a couch that was represented to me as brand new. When I opened the boxes to begin assembling it, I immediately found grass all over the couch which obviously raised a major red flag about whether this couch had actually been brand new or not. Despite that, I cleaned everything up and continued assembling it, hoping there wasn't going to be any other issue. Unfortunately, toward the end of assembly, I discovered that one of the armrests was missing the latches needed to attach it to the sofa AND the armrest itself was ripped. I contacted the business within 24 hours and explained exactly what had happened including pictures. Their initial response was essentially that I should just drive back to their warehouse and pick up the missing latches. But at that point, the missing latches were the least of the problem. I had been sold a couch that was supposed to be brand new, yet it arrived with grass in the packaging, missing hardware, and a ripped armrest. I explained this to them multiple times. After going back and forth, they finally agreed to give me store credit. I was willing to accept that even though, in my opinion, I should have been offered a refund for an item that was not delivered in the condition it was represented to be in. They then told me I needed to return the couch.... So I did exactly that. The couch was already approximately 99% assembled, and I had sent them pictures showing exactly what condition it was in. I had a relative with a truck drive the couch back to their warehouse for me. Then, after we went through the trouble of transporting the couch all the way back, they refused to accept it because it wasn't in the original boxes... Seriously? They knew the couch was no longer in the boxes. I had already sent them pictures showing that it was almost completely assembled. They knew exactly what condition it was in before I drove it back. I explained that I had no reasonable way to put it back into the original packaging. It arrived in three separate boxes, and I had no idea how it had originally been packed. Even if I somehow managed to disassemble it and cram everything back into the boxes, their solution made absolutely no sense. They would still have to take it apart again, inspect it, replace the missing/damaged pieces, and repackage it before potentially reselling it. I even spoke directly with the owner via FaceTime, and rather than trying to find a reasonable solution, he was extremely rude and completely unwilling to work with me. I explained the situation logically and repeatedly, but he simply refused to take the couch back. So now I'm out $700, I've wasted a tremendous amount of time, I've had to arrange transportation to return a defective product, and after doing everything they asked me to do, I was still left with absolutely no resolution. What makes this even more frustrating is that I wasn't demanding anything unreasonable. I was willing to accept store credit just to resolve the situation and move on. They couldn't even do that. The entire experience was frustrating from beginning to end, but the way management handled the situation was what really sealed the deal for me. A business can make a mistake. Products can have defects. What matters is how you treat the customer when something goes wrong. In this case, they made the situation dramatically worse by refusing to take responsibility and then hiding behind a technicality they already knew about. If you're thinking about buying furniture from this place, my advice is DON'T. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend spending your money somewhere that actually stands behind what it sells and respects its customers when there is a problem. $700 lesson learned. I will never shop here again.

I unboxed it in my garage to make it easier to get in my building, brought it into my unit and put it together... and it was a miniature version of what I wanted. Did I read the measurements wrong? Went back to the website, to the table I bookmarked; nope, I read them right, but the table sitting in front of me was definitely not what I (thought I) ordered. Long story short - there are two different tables whose photos look nearly identical, but one is MUCH smaller than the other one! I contacted customer service, explained the situation and sent them screenshots of both tables. Anne in their customer service department was PHENOMENAL. She made sure the correct table was ordered, and that I would be able to exchange the one I received with no problems. Anyway I return the tiny table and pick up the full size version this Saturday. Once we made the choice, he was there to answer questions about the pieces we selected and to queue up the order. He mentioned that Ashley is having 12 months, no interest financing and I was interested in that to help me budget for this purchase. Yay! I got approved. I would recommend Sabino. He was professional and pleasant to deal with. It was a great experience. The store is organized with many pieces of furniture and their website provides details on how wide your door must be to get inside.

TL:DR, if you have to buy something from Ashely Furnitures, buy it from their website don't buy it…read morein store. Long version. Its been like 7 years but it seems they are still up to their old unethical tricks based on other reviews, so I will elaborate more on my previous review where I couldn't explain in full detail due to character limit. My tip is to into the store see what you like, but buy it from the website, because the website will honor returns and issue refunds. The store has a unofficial policy of never accepting returns / refunds / cancelling orders and will try to stall you out indefinitely because the sales people have monthly sales quotas and get paid based on commission. If you return something the sales person gets retroactively dinged for it. If they fall short of the quota more than 3 times in a rolling 90 day period they get fired. For instance if the monthly quota is $18k for October, the sales person managed to sell $20k, but a customer in December wants to a get refund for a furniture set worth $3k because it was either damaged upon delivery or never delivered at all due to being discontinued. If the store allowed the refund to go through then now the sales person retroactively only sold $17K for October and thus failing to meet their quota, even though the refund happened way down the road. So if you buy something and they run out of stock or it gets discontinued, they will keep lying to you and claim they will reschedule the delivery ASAP once it comes back into to stock indefinitely. Problem is the item is discontinued so it will never come back in stock and they will lead you on forever and endlessly claim that it will be delivered / replace soon and hope you forget about and or give up because they don't want to give you a refund because it retroactively hits their quotas. They will only ever offer you store credit, which is worthless because they won't give you the full value you spent back, they drag out the process for months where have to waste countless hours just for them to give you that store credit. You might buy something for like $4K during a holiday sale, but when they finally issue the store credit there is no longer a sale or prices have risen. So you want to buy something similar because you still need a sofa or bed, well now that thing is $5k-$6? They are going to force you to pay the new full price rather than giving you a replacement and honoring the previous price point. Then you might find out oh the new thing you just bought is also discontinued so now you are stuck with $4K in store credit, and now you just gave them another $1K-$2k in additional cash that they will never refund you. Because they will force you to spend months try to get a refund only to be told that they are only going to give you store credit again. This is why you want to buy on the website rather than in store, because the website doesn't have any sales people who get in trouble for retroactively not meeting their quotas when something is returned and won't try to prevent you from getting a refund. The in store managers will not help you at all because they use to be sales people also so they know the struggle, and they only care about making sure their own sales people meet quotas. They don't care about the customer at all. They also try to scam you with the warranty policy, where the hand outdated warranty brochures for some company that no longer works with them, then when you need to file a warranty claim you find out that the brochure claims to cover things that the warranty company either doesn't cover or that they have changed warranty providers and the new one will not honor the previous company's warranty. Especially for claims of pet damage, where they will dismiss all claims as regular wear and tear. They will falsely claim that you can buy pillows, bed coverers, etc, and return them any time. But once you buy them they refuse to refund them at all, even if they are unopened /unused and the bed or sofa that you bought to go with them never showed up under the "biological sanitary" excuse. The sales people love to lie about how you can try out and return the tempurpedic mattresses and other tempurpedic accessories in particular because its the most expensive thing they have in store where they have a hard official take no refunds or returns at all, instead of the soft unwritten no refund policy for other items. As in they won't even give you store credit for it. Because it gives them an easy $10K-$15K sale that can't be reversed at all, which is like usually 70%-90% of their monthly quotas. So whatever you do, do not buy a tempurpedic mattress or any bed accessory items (tempurpedic or not) in store unless you absolutely fine with the product as is and never want to see that money ever again.

My wife and i bought mattress from this location in November 2018 during Black Friday week because we having a baby so we want to prepare ourselves with the best comfort. We bought a king size mattress with adjustable bed with pillows and sheets, however, order came in to delivery, it wasn't the right size of the pillows but we didn't care because we were more worry about her pregnancy so we can deal with the size , but further down the road our adjustable bed stop working in February 2019, there's no instructions of where to call for support, so I called this place, they told me to look at the remote and call the headquarter, which they're located in Texas. So you will think "oh, cool... finally we can get this repair" so I called.. they give me the run around which means transfer to different departments non stop. I called 5 times to get this schedule with in a week while taking care of a NEWBORN!!!!!! Do you know how hard that is...!!! while taking care of your wife and baby is crying... fughhh ... however, I finally got an appointment in March 2019 to get it check out. Cool technician guy and said it needs to replaced. So I was like cool so when will I hear from you guys. He said they will email me, so they didn't email me but I got a package from them that they sent me a part to make it work, I was like omg ... really..! whatever.. do whatever you need to get this working. I called this store again and complained... May 28, 2019 they scheduled a technician to get here to repair... got a emailed from them that the technician is sick so he can't make it.. I was like omg...!!!! so what now.. they have to reschedule again June 14, 2019. I don't recommend this place or company because they don't know how the other party procedures work and handle warranty!! It's not worth the MONEY!!!! I rather just go to a mom and pop store than this POS!! As this very day, nothing is fixed!!!!! I want my money back!!! Beyond my highest expectations! I purchased an excellent mattress set yesterday, and in every way, the experience was superb. The sales person, Kevin Young, is as professional and knowledgeable as they come... quickly assessed my needs and at the perfect pace, led me through the process of educating me for the eventual choice. I was thoroughly informed by Kevin about what I wanted to know, including relevant facts I didn't know to ask about. The pricing was more than just competitive, and I shop enough at Costco to know about great prices and high quality. I seriously doubt that any other retailer could have come close to my purchase price. Kevin also treated me with great importance... it was clear that he knew that I was the customer and he showed complete respect, yet he has a delightful sense of humor which added to the enjoyment. I bought a mattress from Chris Miller today and I'm so excited about it. Besides helping us find a mattress that perfectly matched our comfort needs, he also helped us find pillows that we love. To top it off, we were introduced to a mechanical base that lifts our feet and our heads and vibrates. He gave us a great package deal. The thing I liked about him was that he was straightforward and honest. He didn't have gimmicky sales pitches which totally annoyed me because I'm in sales. He was extremely knowledgeable about the products. He explained the technical differences between mattresses. He started out by putting us on a computerized mattress to help us determine which mattresses would be best for us. We recently bought beds from Sit'n Sleep in San Clemente the manager was excellent. Unfortunately we had a problem with the mattresses but it wasn't a problem for Alfred Abogaeo he listen and sent the inspector out and the mattresses were immediately exchanged. Here we are a week in and little to no progress we really wanted to give this place the benefit of doubt we paid 446$ for a mattress to not even rise we feel maybe we got scammed and they gave us a 3 inch instead of a 10. I hope to hear from these people soon this is just outrageous and seems like we were taken advantage of because he saw how pregnant i am. I would hope this isn't the case and maybe they gave us the wrong mattress. But this is completely unacceptable. We measured the mattress and it has only risen to 4 inches. Date is on receipt I purchased this on November 12th, 2024

After spending quite awhile discussing our uniquely special needs (quadriplegic who needs a high/low bed) physically showing what that is, and having the salesperson confirm via telephone with their manager, that the frame was a high/low, we purchased $7,000 worth of mattresses and frames at the OC Fair - Upon delivery the first thing we noticed was the bed was not a high/low frame, however, 2 things kept us from refusing delivery on the spot. The first, the 2 guys that delivered literally spoke no English so my broken high school Spanish and a game of charades was the best I could do, and they couldn't help, they were simply there to deliver, but more importantly, we had already gotten rid of the frame we had, and a quadriplegic cannot sleep on the floor, or even a couch, until things got squared away. Got on the phone with our salesperson and we agreed to accept the delivery, and Mattress Firm agreed to pick up the useless (to us) frames once we could secure one that was a high/low. It was then we learned they don't even sell a high/low frame! Salesperson and their manager blatantly lied to make a sale. Immediately we went to buy a high/low frame, have it shipped from Atlanta, and delivered to our home. That frame alone cost almost $7,000! That took one week. We arranged for Mattress Firm and the other vendor to arrive within an hour from one another. Now, we had the issue of getting a credit for the frames they sold us. They fought tooth and nail and insisted on a $750(!) "restocking" fee! Wait, what? You sold us something that wasn't what we ordered, and you fibbed to make the sale! Eventually I agreed to $500 "delivery" fee, but in the end they credited back the price of the frames charging us the $750(!) "restocking" fee! Now I cannot get anyone to help me because there wasn't a brick and mortar store to go back to. Pretty shady business practice.

I'd recommend parking near the Nordstrom area or in one of the outside lots, where it's usually easier to find a spot. I always love coming to the Irvine Spectrum Mall. The mall has so many incredible stores, and I love the architecture of each one. I stopped by Purple to shop for a mattress, and as one of the best high-end mattress stores, it did not disappoint. Everything is super comfortable, fluffy, and perfect for any preference or vibe. When we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the staff, who were friendly but not pushy. We were able to try everything at our own pace, and they even provide pillowcases to test with the mattresses. I'd definitely recommend stopping by the Irvine Spectrum Mall and checking out Purple, it's a great experience for both shopping and comfort!

The girl helping us had a bad attitude. She was like rolling her eyes when we would ask a question and had that RBF. Maybe she was on her period. I don't know. But we bought the pillows only for the reason that they are awesome. It had nothing to do with her customer service. If anything, that RBH could scare customers away. Customer service is ZERO stars. The product gets INFINITY stars because the pillows are thattttt good. And of course, one wouldn't do for me; I bought two of those fluffy things! I love sleep and it is very important to me.
