I purchased a custom mattress from this company after ordering my bed from China and needing a specific size. I found this place through Google and Yelp, and from my first visit, Michael welcomed me with great service and took the time to explain all the details about the mattresses and how they are made. I was able to find mattresses that fit my budget, and the quality is much better than other foam mattresses I have tried. I also loved that their factory is just a few blocks from the store, it feels great to support a local business. Overall, the quality is excellent, and I had a great experience read more

Custom Comfort Mattress - Mattresses Near Me - Orange, California

Mattresses made in Southern California, been supporting this store my whole adult life. Quality product, good selection, friendly in store and delivery service. Highly recommend! These mattresses last! read more

We walked in looking to replace our adjustable bed frames. The staff member we spoke to was focused, well versed in the product and did not try to upsell us. The delivery went seamlessly, with a 3 man crew literally running the frames from the truck into our home. Once inside they were deliberate and careful. After the setup they patiently demonstrated the function and features. Finally, they left zero packaging mess behind. read more

Just about everyone in my life has heard some version of the following review, because I honestly can't say enough good things about this company. For context, my partner and I put over 40 hours of research and visiting mattress stores into this mattress decision. There were initially a lot of contenders. And in the end, there was only one we felt confident about - Custom Comfort Mattress. My family and I have been customers of theirs for over 20 years and I was delighted to learn just how good they are in their industry. Throughout the process, we wandered into 3 Custom Comfort stores and the customer service in each was outstanding so they're all getting this shout-out. We never felt like they were trying to make the sale - there wasn't pressure to make a decision - they just gave us the facts with pride and the mattresses sold themselves. Our first visit was to the Orange store where Michael took our "we have 30 minutes, can you just give us the overview" challenge. He provided great information mixed with personal testimony and genuine enthusiasm. By the time we left, Custom Comfort was the one to beat. Took us another week to make the decision but Michael put us on the right path! In the world of mattresses, Custom Comfort is producing a far superior product. I've owned mattresses in the past from their Select Collection (entry-level) and for this purchase, we jumped up to their Reserve Collection (premier level). We wanted a bed that was all natural materials with no memory foam, which we learned limits the lifespan of your mattress. We also wanted to avoid potentially toxic materials used to meet U.S. flammability requirements (Custom Comfort achieves this with wool). Bonus is that all of their mattresses are double-sided (flippable) which most on the market are not these days. The mattress we purchased should last us 20-30 years if we care for it well. This is the type of company that earns your trust. Not that we needed reassurance, but we asked if we could visit their factory in Orange to see how their mattresses are made. I felt like an elementary school kid on a field trip - I absolutely loved it. The warehouse manager Chewy personally guided us through all the stages of the mattress build and shared that most employees have been on the job for 10-30 years. They clearly take pride in their work and the brand. From the time we made the purchase to the time it was set up in our bedroom was 5 days. Great customer service to the end - Oscar and Omar were our courteous and on-time delivery crew and they made several adjustments to the bed height and position in the room to make sure I was completely satisfied. We've been sleeping on our new mattress for a week and we're finding our aches and pains greatly reduced. Check this company out - they're the real deal! read more

The first mattress I purchased with Custom Comfort lasted 17 years. It was their latex mattress which was very comfortable and durable. Because I had a great experience I decided to purchase another mattress. This time my budget wasn't as high so I opted for a limited edition. Unfortunately the mattress only lasted a year. On a positive note Custom Comfort's customer service is exceptional. Joe and Micheal were very helpful and understanding. At first they made adjustments to my original mattress. It was still too soft so they let me borrow a firmer mattress to try out. In the end I received a high quality mattress at no additional cost. I would highly recommend that you purchase your next mattress at Custom Comfort. read more

Company makes beds with organic material and doesn't skimp. They add toppers according to your wishes and that's the custom part. They're easy to deal with and very friendly. read more

After 3 years and several attempts by Custom Comfort to "fix" this mattress, we've finally bought another one from another store that is more upgraded than this JUNK from Custom Comfort. At a better price point, too. Maybe now my hips won't ache in the morning from lack of support. What a ripoff CC turned out to be. Maybe if you spend $7500+ you'll have a decent mattress. read more

Fixed my back pain- no surgery needed! I have scoliosis and used to have constant bulging discs in my back. The medical doctors I went to were not helpful in stopping and preventing this pain ("come back when you need surgery" was something I was told). I realized the typical memory foam and tempurpedic mattresses and mattress toppers I slept on (8+ hours every day, which really adds up!) were causing a lot of my pain. Sinking into foam sucked. I also dealt with memory foam off gassing which made me sick. I found Custom Comfort because they offered flippable mattresses (spoiler alert- every time I flip/turn the mattress I got, its like getting a new mattress). I went to the store about three years ago, so I forget who helped me, but he was very helpful in educating and finding something in my price range (also helped my find a lower priced box spring). They even embroidered a custom design on it for free for me! :) This mattress was great for the first 6 months, but then it broke in and wasn't firm enough for my back. The break-in period is something I wish was emphasized a bit more (maybe they did and I didn't remember). At first it was hard getting my frustrations heard, but I did enough pestering to have someone come to my house to check it out (I asked for a warranty dipping mattress check), and once they saw I was sleeping on the floor for a firmer feel, they offered to change out the springs in the mattress for the firmest ones they had at cost. Now, after 2.5 years, I've been loving my mattress! I really appreciate how Custom Comfort worked with me and even remanufactured the mattress for me. I also got their shredded latex pillows. They were a little overfilled for my taste, so I sewed a zipper on the edge so I could choose how much filling it has. I hope they add that feature. I also put my pillowcases in the laundry and they shrank, and they replaced the cases for me for free, which I really appreciated. My back pain- doing great! I used to have really debilitating pain for over a year, but after a custom comfort mattress (and some pilates for strengthening) I feel like a human again! I can't sleep anywhere else anymore, in a good way. These mattresses really improved my life, and I have literally brought my friends and family to Custom Comfort store to educate them because my life is pain free now. I bought my mattress when I was in college, so it was a lot of money for me, but it was so worth it, and other companies who do the same thing charge a lot more. Plus, no more medical bills! My friends who got mattresses in college had to start replacing them less than 2 years in because they already weren't firm. Thanks again Custom Comfort! read more

This company makes amazing Mattresses just down the road from the showroom. They use organic materials no gels or chemical fabrics. They guarantee them for 20 years! Everything is made custom to order. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Also loved that you had York peppermint patties to munch on while waiting. Am very excited for my new Matress. Also if you are interested they have a giant bed that's two kings together for anyone that really needs lots of room or has an army of dogs! read more

About two years ago I purchased a Queen Mattress and Steel bed frame. Initially, I wanted to buy a bed from Serta; however, after doing some research and word of mouth, I was referred to Custom Comfort Mattress. Even though this location was in Tustin, they delivered it to my apartment in San Pedro, CA! The gentlemen who helped me, Rick, was very helpful and patient with my indecisiveness . I was saddened to learn that he passed away upon visiting the store. Brad and Michael were very helpful in helping me purchase a bed frame with glides for my queen size bed. What I appreciated most about this interaction was the kindness Brad displayed over the phone when I called. He even went as far as sending me an image via text. The best two investments a human can make are the shoes that they walk on and the bed that they sleep on. Custom Comfort Mattress is one of the best investments I've made for my quality life. read more

Michael was amazing! We have been buying mattresses from Custom Comfort for the past 10+ years and they are the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on. We came in recently to get another queen latex mattress and Michael took care of us. If you are looking for the best mattress quality and the absolute best customer service Custom Comfort is the way to go. Thanks again Michael and Brad! read more

Visited this store with the intent of shopping and pricing CalKing mattress and frame. We were greeted upon entering store. Brad met us and welcomeed us to answer any questions and find out what we were looking for. We looked and tried several beds, from soft to firm mattress. Vibration and night lights also. Finally after considerable discussion, we made our decision. Brad was very friendly and helpful. Various price drafts were prepared add printed for our review. The dual CalKing mattress and frame were delivered within a week and set up. Old mattress and frame were hauled away. We really like our new bed and have noticed a deeper sleep. ZZZZZ. Ive bought over 5 mattresses over 30 yrs from them dating back to their Mission Viejo store. All top quality LONG LASTING. Good pricing! It's time for an adjustable queen size bed, so I immediately turned to CCM. Michael Romo greeted me with enthusiasm. When I explain my history, he thanked me for my loyalty and pulled up my prior purchase in 2017 as that was the mattress I wanted but in an adjustable bed. He did presententations, explained thoroughly differences in types, and eased my mind helping me make this purchase. I'm disabled and needed to get one that helped relieve pressure points, etc. I went back and forth several times on deciding what i should get. He never made me feel rushed at all! It was a team effort!!!!! And Kris Gallo, another Sales person, was in the store and made me feel fine letting me know that this was perfectly normal when buying a mattress.! Kudos to Michael for being so patient with me. He understood my needs, budget and worked hard to get me the perfect CUSTOM mattress. Will be delivered next week! THANK YOU, Ill sleep better at night! read more

I'd like to start off by saying that I don't normally write reviews, but this time it was a must. Our new mattress is amazing & so is Mike Romo! I was suffering from back pain and got tired of waking up stiff as a board and dreading laying down for bed. That all changed when I walked into Custom Comfort Matress and spoke with Mike! He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and attentive to our needs. He made sure that we would get exactly what we needed all while working within our budget. These guys are awesome. We had been to 3 other mattress stores. Custom comfort is a ....No high pressure sale, no hurry up and buy quick kind of place. On the day of my delivery (2hours before) we discovered that we didn't have the right equipment to install the mattress on our captain drawers. They actually did not have one in stock but... since they are made right here in Orange... CA....they made one for us. Delivery was excellent. And .... We slept very well in our new bed on the first night. Oh, and by the way there is no split down the middle of the bed because of their special toppers. We highly recommend Custom Comfort. read more

I needed a new bed, top to bottom. My old bed was a latex/spring hybrid, which I chose for health reasons, and I wanted to stay with that. Brad Mankau at the Orange store is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, showing me all the options available. I chose an all-latex mattress with a topper and an adjustable base, and delivery took less than a week. The two delivery men (Custom Comfort employees, not a third party) were likewise friendly and professional, arriving on time and setting me up quickly without missing any beats. All in all, Custom Comfort was an excellent choice and I can't recommend them highly enough. read more
