This is our second mattress buying experience with Ortho Mattress and I highly recommend them. We didn't work with Thomas for the first one but had him for this second purchase. The first time we came here we bought a Cal King mattress for the master bedroom of the first home me and my husband bought together here in Orange County. Fast forward 4 years and we're buying a Full mattress for our guest room because we have our first baby due next month and need a comfy bed for our parents/nanny to stay! We were hoping they had a record from our previous visit. They unfortunately did not but Thomas was able to discern our exact same mattress choice from last time in about 3 questions. We even test laid down a couple to make sure but Thomas was spot on. He was super professional and very helpful and we loved getting another mattress from here because the quality is amazing and the price is fair. He also took the time to go over every aspect of the sale from the return policy and warranty to some fun facts about the business and competitors generally. I recently purchased the Playa Vista LT plush mattress "Cloud" and unfortunately, it did not live up to my expectations. I tried contacting customer service and to no surprise I was rejected from any compensation for a subpar mattress because it hadn't dipped far enough. In 3 years of buying this mattress the head of the bed should not have any sagging. It sagged so much that my head would end up underneath the headboard. For 7k, this should not happen and it should have lasted longer that 2 years. That's a ridiculous amount of money to have such a disappointing product. Don't buy this mattress thinking you're paying more and getting more. I don't recommend this product. We had a great experience buying a new reclining bed. Steve, the manager is so knowledgeable and helpful.

Poor customer service. And their mattress sagged after only 2 weeks. Spoke to Linda (who was great) at customer service on several occasions and was told we would receive a call back the same day from the regional manager... we never got a call back to this day (2 months). Wrote to them about our issue via the contact link on their website and a month and a half later still no reply. Called again and was told they don't have enough staff to monitor the messages they receive from ortho's website. After yet another call to customer service, finally got a call back from a manager( Cliff) from another region who would not take responsibility for the mistake the salesperson made (even though he acknowledged it was an overlook) and put the blame on us for not checking our bill. I would hope that I could trust I am receiving the products your salesperson tells me I am getting. Take your business elsewhere. They will have no concern for you after the sale. read more

My wife and I found the mattress we want, got it delivered the next day during president's day weekend. The whole shopping experience was easy breezy. Sales associate Candee was very patient with our trials in stores. She answers our questions in details and explains each brand's materials and manufacture process. There was no sale pressure from her. We narrow down our choices to couple selections, but needed some time to think about it. By the time we made our choice, store was just closed. But Candee stayed past closing hour so we can put in the order and get it next day. The delivery & return policy in details was explained in clear details when we put in the order. Delivery was on time. Warehouse called us to notify delivery window, and delivery guy called us again 30 minutes ahead of arrival. Their store carries wide selection of brands and price levels. We tried many of them: temperpedic, stern and foster, ortho, airloome. We end up buying the airloome. They may not carry the cheapest products. But a good night sleep everyday is worth the investment. They do offer no sales tax promotion during holiday events. So check the out if you are looking for new mattresses. read more
