I have to say the the people who work here truly care about their customers and not about just selling beds. I came here with my wife and we were fortunate enough to be helped by Lisa and after awhile of looking at the many different options they had. We were happy to pick the perfect bed! Unfortunately some circumstances arised and we had to throw our brand new bed away after three days, I have to add this wasn't due to user/customer error. Shelby helped my girlfriend and I get a new mattress last saturday. We did the sleep diagnostic test and she showed us beds within our budget. She was extremely professional and didnt pressure us into buying a higher priced bed set even though we could have afforded it. What really makes this place shine is today the mattress was to be delivered between 1pm and 5pm. The delivery company called us at 1253 and said they were leaving at 1 on the dot. My gf and i arrived at 1:02 pm and they had left. I called the store and spoke to the manager Alfred. He quickly calmed me down as i was about to have a aneurysm. He called back less than five minutes later telling us the mattress will be there in 15 minutes. All in all very satisfied with this business. My husband needed a new mattress, and the support was important because he has severe back problems, having already had five surgeries. Debbie helped us pick a Stearns & Foster with an adjustable frame. A few days after delivery, it was obvious that mattress just wasn't working for us, and Chris, the manager, helped arrange for its return and the delivery instead of a Tempur-Pedic. My husband and I had done some research online but honestly, we felt this is too much to do online, let's go look, and then we can go home and buy. Well, after our experience with Chris Miller, the store manager, we went back in our car and I wanted to find a way to make buying it from him and his Sit n Sleep store work. I asked my husband to go in and ask about a different base, and he came out with more details, and we went back and bought our new bed and base. His kindness to our kids, his ability to make us feel safe, cleanliness of the store, his ability to make it easy, and his overall friendliness, was the reason we bought our bed, it was from him, not from the manufacturer. Alfred hooked it up! We came here on Memorial Day to look at some mattresses and see what they had. We looked around the whole store as Alfred accompanied us. BEWARE !!!. We recently purchased a Hi End mattress set from the Orange store. During the sales process we were not informed of the pitfalls of the tilt-split design. In addition we were told the new mattress would be as firm as the one we were replacing. After just 2 days it became obvious this was not as firm a mattress that we desired. Here is the best part. When we called to exchange the items this is what we were told, '' we can only exchange the mattress once after 30 days. The other items are not exchangeable or refundable". After spending over $7,000 this is the customer service you will receive. "You're killing me, Alfred!!" Alfred was awesome! He helped me identify the best bed for my sleep style and even found me the most dreamy fantastic pillow that I HAD to have. He was very gracious, answering all of my questions between foam, hybrid and innerspring mattresses. Even with multiple customers in the shop, he always checked-in (to make sure I hadn't fallen asleep) and made sure I was doing ok in my search. Chris Miller was amazing! We visited the store late on a Sunday and he must've spent more than an hour with us trying out every different type of mattress in the store. There was absolutely no upselling whatsoever. Chris guided us through all of the options and choices until we found exactly the right mattress for us, and he kept us in our price range. Buying a mattress would typically be quite a boring experience, but Chris was genuine and friendly and we were joking at the end of the night that it wasn't a bad way to spend a Sunday evening! Our experience with Sit and Sleep has been awful from the start. Cliff notes: Debra/Debbie is a bad sales rep who doesn't stick to her commitments. She mades weird outdated/rude comments/remarks in regards to my girlfriend's and my age, relationship and implied that we couldn't afford our selection...(We are both 25 and yes we could afford our $2k selection) She then tells us that we have to wait OVER THREE WEEKS to get our mattress and products delivered and tried to sell us one we didn't want after we repeatedly said no. We considered just going to another store to see if she just didn't want us to make our purchase from a rep at a different Sit and Sleep but we unfortunately gave her the benefit of the doubt. We then specifically scheduled delivery for today because of the 5pm to 9pm time frame for delivery and she didn't schedule it even after telling us she did and that she "always checks on her orders every week" *spoiler alert* She doesn't check her orders every week! The delivery people showed up today at 11:40 and when I told the dispatcher that we had this scheduled for after 5 pm today since we both work, he then told me that Debra never scheduled the delivery as she had promised us numerous times so the drivers were going to leave and will not come back today under any circumstances. We made our purchase over three weeks ago and now they will be calling us after 6pm to let us know IF they can deliver our set up tomorrow... All in all I would not recommend anyone to this Sit and Sleep or Sit and Sleep in general after this experience. read more

I went in over the weekend to get a new mattress; something I wasn't looking forward to. I figured it was going to take a couple of hours to figure out what was going to be best for me. Lisa helped me and made it so easy I was completely surprised when the whole process only took about 30 minutes and I got hooked up with everything I would need and delivery set for when I needed it to happen. My husband and I showed up here about an hour before closing on a Thursday night about 3 weeks ago. I had been having some pain and suspected that it was caused in part by not having enough room in bed after my husband and dog took up more than their fair share. I had him finally convinced to upgrade to a king size bed. So we came here looking for a bed frame. We we're greeted by the salesman on duty, Chris Miller. He was fantastic!! Seriously, my husband and I have been complaining a lot recently about how good customer service is hard to come by these days. But Chris was awesome. Helpful, informative, and friendly but never pushy. We discussed the fact that my husband and I knew literally nothing about mattress picking and had only ever bought affordable options and tossed a topper on it. So we got custom fit by mattress sleep science! Then we're able to lay on a few options and pick our favorite. We left with a new bed frame, memory foam mattress and pillows (and really great service). Sit N Sleep was able to set up delivery for Saturday morning, which was so fast and exciting because I couldn't wait to sleep on the new bed. The delivery guys showed up before the window slot given, which was a bit early for us so we weren't ready, but they waited for us to let them in. They took out the old mattress and set up the new bed with mattress, pillows and covers in less than a half an hour. And this was to an upstairs apartment. We've been sleeping on it for about 2 weeks now and we love it! It took some getting used to because the foam really absorbs you so moving around is harder but you get used to it. We both sleep deeper, waking up less often throughout the night. And I finally have enough room in bed!! So we are very happy with our new purchase. And the icing on the cake was having such a great shopping experience. We never felt pushed into choices. Chris felt genuinely concerned with trying to figure out what would help us meet our needs. This branch is great! My girlfriend and I were promptly greeted by Chris, who was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. We were looking for a new mattress for our upcoming move and we told him a little bit about our different sleeping styles and medical conditions. He then had us use their Sleep technology that Duke University created to find out what the best type of mattress would be for us.
