I love this place. My Pup loves this place…read more.. It's a new business and the team is small so it might take a little time to get your consultation scheduled but I guarantee it is worth it! Our pup has some reactivity due to multiple attacks from loose dogs in our neighborhood and Adriana the owner and Edith her business partner have been so encouraging I have so much more confidence than I did before. I love Adriana's way with the dogs and she is just the right balance of expertise and understanding. I especially love the way she is with ME. My dog learns quickly and as I make mistakes she shows compassion, patience and gives me clear guidance... just the way I am learning to be! I can honestly say I look forward to class. There is always something new and fun to learn and the engagement with my GSD is so rewarding. Our bond is strengthening and our self assurance is expanding so much! The cost is actually reasonable and worth every penny. We have been to other places where we paid a huge amount of money, thought we were getting one thing, and just never felt like we were any closer to achieving our goals. We just had a big gathering for the first time since covid; I followed Adriana's advice to the letter and everyone was so impressed by what a good boy our pup was. Before Adriana he would have been very nervous. If we were to stay in Texas this would be the only place for us for the rest of our fur baby having lives. Recommend!!! In fact, I'll go so far as to say... if you have a k9 of any age, you MUST see Alpha Leader K9. It's the difference between owning a dog, and being loved by a GREAT dog.

We thought we'd get some obedience training and be on our way, and we ended up with a "sport dog", with bling! Over the last couple of years, I actually learned a few things that I feel confident in myself and trustworthy enough in the ALT process that I decided to give it another go. I am lucky enough to jump on the puppy class that transitions into sport dog training classes. Thurbs is a Big Bro to a GSP-POODLE mix who will be 6 months old in March. Dock Diving is about to get interesting. We're going to check all the boxes and see what this Lil Pup enjoys. Stay tuned for ALT Dog Part 2 And this Momma is saying, LET'S GO!

Katie Lingerfelt, with Karma Dog Training, is absolutely amazing. My husband and I left our year…read moreold mastiff/bulldog mix with her for 3 weeks to do some board and train. We were completely amazed with the progress he made during his stay; all of his habits we'd hope to break and the new ones we hoped he'd gain (jumping up on visitors, begging, off-leash training, walking, fetch, recall, sit, stay, lay down, go to your bed, and so many more) far exceeded our expectations. She not only did an amazing job with his training but also including him as her family, and introducing him to several different environments that we never expected. She introduced him to children, strangers, dogs, and cats. I can't speak highly enough of the training Diezel received during his stay with Katie and her family. We will always hold our dogs to this standard now and will definitely be using Katie for our future pups. My husband and I couldn't ask for a better dog, thanks to Katie and her ability to bring out the best in him.

Penelope got to interact with other puppies and people and got the socialization that's so important as a puppy. While Penelope thought she was just playing she was actually learning at the same time - sit, down, leave it, walk on loose lead, stay, and even learned about not jumping on people. All the dog owners reinforce training even when the puppies are on off leash play time. Katie's classes are a very relaxed learning environment with Katie's extended knowledge to help with problem issues. I can not recommend these puppy classes any higher for anyone with a new puppy.

I have to say, I was skeptical because my experience with past boarded dog training was not very…read moresuccessful. But Romeo, even though he is only 8 months old, is friendly, loving, and manageable with me, but overwhelming with company. So, when I realized I was dreading having company, it was then I knew I needed help, ok, I was almost desperate so here we are...LOL Here is what I love about Candice's system: First off, she comes to your home to evaluate the whole situation. She did not rush me; she took her time. This is big because, in the end, our dogs have to come back and live with us. Candice keeps in contact with you during the 2-week process. Being from Belton, Texas/Central Texas, she is very close to me. She made home visits during the training, bringing him to me so we could work together with his new skills, too. There are children at her home, so he was socialized with children, which is critical in having a family dog. I love that she took him to public destinations, too. Especially since we are working on him being my medical service dog as well. I am very happy with the results. I see a huge difference in his overall behavior, and so do all of the victims of his overwhelming affection prior to the training. Something else, not only does she know her business, but I enjoy working with her. Candice is very personable and warm. I really like her as a person, too, not a need but a great added bonus. Because I purchased the 2 week boarded training, I get unlimited private lessons. Bonus for sure, because no matter how well-trained our puppies are, we can have slips here and there. Lastly, she delivered him sparkling clean and deshedded... another HUGE bonus for me.
