Very pleasant experience with Sit catering for my wedding. Got the bridal house catering package from them and I cannot complain about anything. Meeting Sona was so wonderful, she is super nice and kind and thank God no attitude was given like some other vendors. Two days before my wedding they asked if they can setup the table so I'm the day of the wedding they wouldn't rush. I loved that part, but obviously that's not the case all the time. From the moment I reached out to discuss catering options for our special event, I knew I made the right choice. My sit down meeting was scheduled with Sona and she is such a delight to work with. If your considering this company, do yourself a favor and don't bother. You will pay for "rentals" that you could buy for pennies on the dollar that you actually spent on the rental. It sucks to feel used and ripped off. Unless you like that feeling, take your money to someone else who deserves it. Sadly we didn't do much shopping around, but you should. You'll realize that reputable rental companies charge much less for much better and legit products. The level of ignorance they expect of their customers is ridiculous and sad. Not only do they use horrible cheap products that are not actually pieces of furniture but random pieces they put together and claim are "decorative only", they also have even worse customer service especially once the money is in their hands. Oh, and you have to pay in full days before the event since they know how unsatisfied customers who understand the value of these things will be once they realize they have been exploited. We used them for rentals only and chose the items via pictures at the suggestion of the owner and were not shown any items in person. Unfortunately pictures hide many issues. We learned this only after the setup had been arranged the day before the event and it was too late to cancel the order since we would be left with no decoration. Products used are of extremely cheap quality. Stands are unstable and comprised of a cheap base and a piece of thin glass that sits on top with nothing holding them together. This is an extreme hazard for guests and especially kids who may accidentally knock them over and get injured. Draping comes wrinkled and doesn't show so much in pictures unless you focus but it looks horrible in person. Couches come dirty and scratched. Draping decor that they charge $250 for are comprised of pieces of cardboard spray painted and cheap flowers attached. Probably doesn't even cost $20 to make the entire display yet they rent out for $250. I hope I can help at least one person to not get ripped off. There are such great companies out there that will appreciate your business and provide the level of service and quality you expect for the money you pay. This company is not one of them. read more

Update: your response to this review really shows your lack of professionalism and pathetic attempt to discredit your customers. Your stands are flimsy and the glass is not attached to the base. A light touch could flip them over. The cheap products you use cost you nothing compared to what you charge your customers for rental. Buying product from Michaels would look better and have better quality and it would cost significantly less. It's a shame people like you exploit people during very sensitive and happy occasions. What compensation are you talking about. Hi spoke to able and I pacifically asked them to just give $100 back as compensation for your negligence as a matter of principle and he refused to do that. Just a small advice for you, honesty is the key to continued success. These people are thieves. We hired Sit Catering to do some backdrop and a few furniture pieces for a wedding. They charged us $1800 and the result was ridiculous. The bridal bench was delivered dirty and in very bad condition. The backdrop was extremely wrinkled up and the few flower pieces for decoration where dry and dead. We asked them to do some kind of compensation because of their gross negligence. They said that they will give us a discount on the next event. They clearly don't care at all about customer service and quality control. I have no idea how these people are in business. I was recommended to use Sit Catering for my wedding by a family friend and ultimately had a great experience with them. I needed catering at my home for the morning of my wedding. I first met with Sona last August (a year before my wedding) to discuss packages and details. I was fairly unfamiliar with all that was required for the morning, but Sona was very sweet and right away I noticed that she knew her stuff. This assured me as I was very stressed prior to meeting with her. She explained the process and what I would need, as well as what was included in each package along with pictures on her computer. She even recommended a few wedding vendors for me to look into. I signed the contract for one of the all-inclusive packages that included food, furniture, decor, and flowers. A year later, about a month before my wedding, I met with Sona again at the Raymer office to discuss details and pick my food and decor choices. We went through pictures on her computer and through the process, I told her what I wanted and she recommended what she believed would look nice. She also explained and advised on what I would need for some Armenian traditions that are typically done morning of the wedding. We finished finalizing my choices and she assured me that everything was ready and I need not stress :). Diego contacted me a few weeks before my wedding to confirm details. Five days before the wedding, Abel came to my home to review for setup and decide locations of the furniture and decor. Two days before the wedding, Diego and his team came to set up the furniture and drape the walls. Finally, on the morning of the wedding, the team came a few hours earlier than my guests' arrival time, as scheduled, to finish setting up everything. When I got back from the salon, everything was ready and looked amazing! The staff worked hard the whole morning, serving food and keeping everything in order. One of the staff members, a middle aged woman whose name I am forgetting, even helped and gave advice to fix and avoid wrinkling my veil! Another waiter also brought me a plate of food and told me to eat (which was a nice gesture since, as the bride, you totally forget to eat). When we were leaving for pictures, the staff had loaded up a big tray of appetizers and put it in our limo. This small gesture goes a long way because as the bride and groom, eating in the limo saved us from being hungry the rest of the night (and as it turned out...we didn't eat much after that). Overall, I recommend hiring Sit Catering for your catering needs (especially for a wedding). They are on top of their stuff, really efficient, and run a well-oiled business with professional and communicative staff. They have done so many weddings that they have it down to a science. Given the high stress of the day and everything that goes into planning for the wedding (i.e. all the different vendors and people involved) it was nice that with my package, all we had to worry about was providing ice and beverages and they took care of the rest (they served the beverages, we just had to get them). The food was delicious and also looked beautiful on the table. The furniture and decor looked like a dream come true. And relative to other companies, the price was very reasonable for all that was provided for us. Lastly, Diego, Sona and the rest of the team were really flexible, quick, and easy to communicate with. I have been to a few events at friends or family where they have used "Sit Catering" as the Catering company. Are they elegant and have an amazing presentation? yes! absolutely! Are they organized and care for their clients? No, I don't think so. And here is my story as to why.... 1st time I was at an event, I was completely blown away at everything. Beautiful display of all the bits size food, delicious appetizer, the background wall...etc. The set up, preparing before and after the clean up. Immaculate! So, I took one of their flyers and contacted them a few days later. I never got a call back. I called them a week later, and still. No one returned my call. This was a few years ago. I forgot about them, and ended up using a different company. Lets fast forward a few years. Once again, Sit Catering was at another event, and I'm still loving their style, along with everything else. Except one of the employees, (server) was simple rude! I was speaking with another guest, and we were sort of hanging out in the kitchen area. And since we were already standing there, the other guest took a cup from the table, she was really thirsty. BUT immediately the server told the guest "use a cup from the other table. Not these here!"... Are you kidding me? It was not so much the message, but more the way she said it. Simply rude! Towards the end of the event, we can all sense that server was very annoyed. (Maybe she was tired) but, her demeanor was unacceptable. Guess what I did a few days later? That's right... I called them again! and guess what they did not end up doing? Not calling me back! It's been approx 2 maybe going on 3 months. I'd say I'm never going to hear from them. EVER! They simply have a beautiful display of everything. I'm only giving them a 2 star because, as a company... someone must of heard my message. and someone could of called back. I went in for my appointment and it was amazing how professional and prepared Sona was. On the day of my event i was still Nervous about the outcome. Five star most definitely! Firstly, my consultation with Sona was amazing. She very quickly gets a feel of what it is her clients like and want. I don't even know where to start to express what an amazing vendor Sit catering is! We hired them to do the morning catering and home decor for both my sister's wedding in July and mine in October. Both of those days were so special thanks to Sona and her team. They are so easy to get in touch with through phone or text. When meeting with them they make you feel like you're the most special bride they've ever worked with. You get to choose from different styles of home decor and finger foods. The decorations are all beautiful and all of the food is so delicious! I couldn't stop eating it and was happy that there were tons of leftovers the next morning (they're very generous with their portions--food for 50 could easily feed 70). The team comes to your house a few days before the wedding to do the bulk of the decorating. I really appreciated that they were so punctual, showing up exactly when they said they would. While decorating, they take the bride's ideas and preferences into consideration to make sure it's perfect. On the day of the wedding, the team shows up bright and early to the house to finish with the decor and start putting the food out. The kitchen staff is probably some of the best you'll find. They were walking around the entire time passing out food and drinks, making coffee, etc. I would recommend them to every bride for their special day.
