Accommodating, clean, hospitable. Showers and cold plunge offered. Very relaxing. Plenty of towels and items to enjoy the environment.

This place is absolutely amazing. We got the deal with Groupon for 60 minutes sauna session. You get your own sauna room that has different exercise equipment or a bed you can just relax in. The they have a cold room if you just want to sit in the cold room or enjoy a dip in the ice water bath all optional while you're there. We definitely enjoyed ourselves and recommend it to everyone. read more

I was in Chattanooga for the night and called to see if I could book a pod. They were full, but told me to call back in an hour. When I did, they had me a space and were willing to stay open past normal hours to accommodate me. Super nice folks and a very clean place! The infrared pods were exactly what I needed after 3 days on the road and in meetings. read more

Read Facebook reviews before going. Purchased a month unlimited. Out of the three appointments made, two were met with locked doors. Driving into downtown Chattanooga, paying for parking, and then being met with lights off/locked doors and no sign or notification is not professional. I sent a nice email asking for a refund. I have called and left a message with the front desk. I have called every day trying to get answers...all I get is a full mailbox. The owner was even tagged in my Facebook review and has not reached out. I was willing to remove the negative review for a full refund. Many others have had this problem. It's one thing to be a walk-in facility, but when people actually make appointments using their online platform, someone is choosing to ignore those appointments. A simple call or text would have sufficed if there was an emergency and valid reason for closing. However, many reviews suggest not. I have also submitted my disappointment and observation of others to the Better Business Bureau. Hoping they can resolve this major lack of customer service. I have owned a restaurant and know that happy customers are our best asset. read more

I can't believe this place is for real. The product is great, the service not so much. I purchased a package a week or so ago. The two times I visited the front door was locked and I had to wait outside for several minutes, and both times the employees seemed very frazzled and stressed (not sure if it's pay, management issue, etc). The girl seemed nice, the guy was yelling on a phone next to my room about how stressed he was at work...I love the product, I really do and I purchased a package so chose to ignore this, until today. I purposely scheduled an appointment at least an hour after opening, thinking the experience would be better if at least the employees had more time to open. Nobody was there. It was closed. I waited outside for 20 minutes. I tried calling, but it went directly to voicemail and the voicemail inbox is full. I also tried calling yesterday during the afternoon, the same thing, straight to voicemail with a full inbox. I can't even get in contact with them? The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I want my money back. Don't waste your time with this place. I'm just...shocked that this business is even running. read more

Happened upon this place on a walk from a pretty awesome breakfast place and stopped in just to see what it was about. They had a special for the Sweat Pods and I made an appointment. Alex -- friendly and kind -- made my appointment and I received an automated text confirming and reminding me of my appointment. (A small, but big thing.) I arrived to be greeted by warm smiles. I'd only been in the front part of the studio so I was very comforted to know that the state-of-the-art facilities were super clean and relaxing. There was a light scent that wasn't overbearing as with some places. I got the tour from Alex and he explained the other treatments that were available. I was bummed to find out that they'd just gotten their massage license because I would have wanted to schedule one. :-) The Sweat Pod itself was also clean -- I had a single private room -- and because it was my first time, Alex was kind enough to walk me through it all. I left feeling relaxed, detoxes, and relieved. I recommend this place with all two of my thumbs. read more

Love Love Love! Infrared Sauna pods in your own private room-AMAZING! It makes such a difference to be able to lay down, to fully relax while the 30 minutes of pure sweaty bliss happens. A truly healing experience, I always leave cleansed and rejuvenated. Shower on premise. Staff is super friendly. Decor is gorgeous rustic chic. Highly recommended. read more

Wish they had their hours posted somewhere. Like on their website, their favebook, their voicemail, or basically anywhere. I bought a gift certificate wonder how I use it. read more

Horrible with timing, they don't have the right open and close times on google so you have to call to make sure they are open. I made an appointment in the morning and they were still closed even on my appointment time. I don't live in the area so it's a drive. read more

I am a long time customer of the Sauna. It has always been top notch! Mind you, the small things make all the difference. The years prior i loved going. Made me feel as if i am treating myself, as well as moving toxins from my body. (among so may other benefits.) Over the last few months it seems as if maybe, there is a new owner or decision maker.. Because there are many bizarre things that have changed and the family that owned this place in the beginning, had a real HEART for it, a passion! I don't know if they are still owners, but the difference is real sad because it goes against all the sauna stands for! I have been very patient to see if there will be any improvements before I wrote a review. However it hasn't. My biggest issue if the shampoo, conditioner, body soap in the shower. So, for months there were the same two "different brands" of shampoo and conditioner bottles. Made me wonder if they were just refilling them and if so, with what, right!? I have chronic allergies to products and i read all labels on thing before I put them in or on my body. Actually that is one reason i go to the sauna. Help my body sweat out all toxins and poisons from the world around us. I mean, as sauna in its self is designed for that ! Then I go the other day and find SUAVE shampoo & conditioner. And, not to mention, i asked for soap one visit because they were out and the lady brought out a DOLLAR GENERAL branded liquid soap!!! WHATTTT!!!???? I was totally blown away! I mean, I came here, payed my money, i did my part to sweat out all the toxins and then you want me to put the toxins, poisons right back in with these cheap, unhealthy, animal cruel products!! Why even do this business, if you don't believe in it! a couple other issues.. The showers are dirty (slimie) sometimes. The cold plunge actually STINKS sometimes! who wants to get in that! There use to be alkaline water in the cold room, now its just a pitcher of water.. really!! Where does this water come from, the faucet ? And i know this is small, but pennies add up to millions. All the towels, wash clothes are all white, as a sauna is. Often there are these dark brown wash cloths. Just another thing so make you question. Cabin 4 always has a problem. Makes me scared to use it. Please find the heart that has been lost and get this wonderful place back to the fundamentals because a customer cant trust that you are not going to make cheap or lazy choice which will just beak every rule of living a clean life style!!! Found a Groupon deal and was excited to treat myself for my birthday. It was a deal for two, so I figured I would go twice before offering my full opinion. I used the infrared pods both times but switched between the cold room and freezing cold plunge afterwards. It was my first time in a non-traditional sauna, and as a newbie, it would have been useful to know a bit more about the process first. I loved the heat- and more surprisingly, the cold afterwards. As a very curvy woman, I fit the pods with just the smallest amount of hip clearance so buyer be ware. They also have small cabins if you tend to have issues with that. Similarly, it was a surprise at how close certain sensitive parts were to the heated pod cover. (Very curvy woman here) The first trip I was unprepared and strategically placed my hands. However, on the second trip I brought a small towel which adequately solved the problem. I tried laying on my stomach too but found it uncomfortable personally. Besides, the pods aren't the easiest thing to flip around in, even though the lids slide on and off. I used the lowest heat setting both times and was happily comfortable until the last 5- 10 minutes of the session. The cold plunge was shocking, but I did enjoy the experience for three minutes before I started shivering. I think the plunge and cold room are equally lovely (as much as I usually abhor the cold). Do try each option even if you think you already have a preference! Also, they no longer offer robes for free so bring your own if you are self-conscious. read more

I was not impressed with my experience as a first time visitor. When I walked in, I could smell mildew. I looked up at the ceiling above checkin, I could see the mold and mildew on the ceiling. I should've left then. The young lady at the front desk rushed through explaining and showing me my sauna room. She was not professional in any way. There is no lock on the door to their sauna rooms! So, while you are laying in the sauna, anyone could come in. That really concerned me. I laid down on the sauna bed and pulled the top up over me, but I could still smell the mold and something else. It made me concerned that the bed was not sanitary. I got out after only 10 minutes of my hour session. I dressed and went to the front desk and waited for another 10 minutes. I have no idea where the young lady was, so I left. I decided it wasn't even worth asking for the refund. I didn't want to breathe the mold and mildew in the air any longer. I would not recommend this spa. read more

I Bought a package of 10 and quickly realized they are pretty disorganized. I call ahead and they forget to turn the pod on and it takes a good 10 minutes of your session to heat up if not already Pre heated. The straw that really turned me off is I assume for safety reasons, if you were to pass out, they don't have locks on the door, but with the disorganization they don't know if the room is occupied and I had a staff member open the door on me while basking naked in the sauna. Not acceptable. read more

All I can say is wow. I was really impressed with my first visit to the studio. It is a beautiful space with a great modern look. It was my first visit so I wasn't sure exactly what to expect. When I arrived I was given a tour and a chance to ask questions, which was very nice. The sauna experience felt great, although if you are claustrophobic it might be a little uncomfortable. Not sure if there is free WiFi, I listened to music on my phone and the time went by without any problems. Afterwards, you can usually choose between a cold room or a plunge into cold water. Unfortunately the cold room was not working, so I tried the water. It is incredibly cold (it was also freezing outside so it may be easier in warmer weather). Definitely not for the faint of heart. But I felt great when it was all done. There's a bathroom with a shower that is clean and spacious for getting ready for work or whatever. Towels and water are provided, just bring yourself. The staff was friendly and I didn't feel rushed at all. The rest of the day I felt energized and wonderful. There are different membership options that can save you some money. I was given a deal for being a first timer. Definitely recommend making an appointment. The board says it's more expensive for a walk-in. Give it a try, I will definitely be going back. read more

LADIES CAUTION GOING HERE Went here a few times when ladies were working and it was great. When going from the sauna cabin to the ice pool they had a closed curtain and it was private and comfortable. HOWEVER, the last time I came in three men were working. When I went mid sauna session into the ice pool, (wearing just a towel mind you) they did not have the curtain drawn and were making comments to me as I went to get into the pool, such as "yeah girl, get it" and what felt like catcalling. Did my thing in the ice pool and on the way back to the sauna I experienced the same thing. General commentary and "I love it, yeah get it girl, yeah". Annoyed I went back to the sauna where my boyfriend who had heard everything through paper thin walls, asked if they had been talking to me. I said yeah. He got up and proceeded to ask why the men felt that was appropriate and why the commentary is necessary and how inappropriate their behavior was. Initially they shrugged it off as though he has misheard the comments. However we both heard very clearly. And anyway why do 3 guys need to be looking and commenting as half naked women are walking around. As we left they had the audacity to change their story saying they were talking to "another guest". However I am sure I was the only one in the hallway and it happened the way in and out of the pool. When we asked for the name of the owner to report them I was very surprised to learn the main commenter was in fact the owner, Alex Davis. Instead of being understanding and apologizing he continue to state the same story of talking to someone else and me mishearing. In addition the whole time in the sauna these three men, one being the owner, were being loud and obnoxious and playing loud music. Had a very frat boy feel, the opposite of relaxing. We asked for a refund and were asked to never come back. Guess they don't wanna be called out on their bs. Can't believe an owner of a so-called health/relaxation spa would be so clueless, rude, and straight up gross. So DONT recommend this place and definitely not if you wanna pay to get catcalled and stared at. read more
