This a new Thai restaurant, it look cute with a good service.The food is tasty and I recommend kao mok gai yang, this is their special with grilled chicken and clear broth on the side the combination is fantastic. Spicy eggplant is great and papaya salad is spicy to my liking a good combination with the grilled chicken. read more

Food was delicious though their heater was not working so it was cool in the restaurant.

I wanted to like this place but I can't. I ordered garlic noodles with veggies. When I got home to eat it it smelled and tasted fishy. I tried some bites. I later asked my sister if she tasted or smelled fishy in the noodles she said yes. I couldn't eat it so I told her to eat it since she eats meat. I still can't get rid of the memories of the taste and smell out of my head. I don't know what happened in the kitchen but I'd be very cautious of ordering here if you're vegetarian. I It is my first time here after I found this restaurant from ig. I order Pad Kanaa with crispy pork belly and strawberry lemonade. It's really yummy and I really like Strawberry lemonade so much. It's fruity and freshly. I order Tom yum fried rice for to go. Price is acceptable. Service is great. They are friendly and food come very fast. It has many dishes I would like to try. Went during lunch time. Ordered 2 items to go and told the lady in the front that both items needed mild/no chillies. But on reaching home one was too spicy! They are not only overpriced but charged us more than what is shown on their menu. The dishes we ordered were at $15 each but were charged $16 each. Its no biggie but wrong. They charge extra for 1 rice at $3. And to top it off, they charge 25 cents for the to go bag! read more

My GOD this place is good. Their red curry is flavorful and the right amount of spicy. Rice and tofu both cooked perfectly and the teal colored rice is a fun twist. Farmhouse has been my #1 spot here for a long time, but I think Sistory is a very close rival and a new favorite. Love to hear it's woman-owned! read more

I have been consistently eating from this restaurant every other week or so since I moved out here about a year ago!! It is definitely my favorite restaurant but I usually do get to-go just because I'm more of it at home eater. When I say, this is the best pad see ew I've ever had I'm definitely not lying. I consistently crave it and the people that work there are super nice! I have still not eating at the restaurant, but I have always wanted to because it is very beautiful inside. We were hoping for yummy Thai dinners, yet it was average. Our app, 4 good size spring rolls, were leafs of lettuce with 1 zucchini spear, a little tofu, strands of carrot wrapped with a thick basic peanut dip. We didn't eat it all. The first time I go to a Thai restaurant I get veggie green curry since it's one of my favorites. It was a good amount with a small mound of rice. Its only offered spicy as the sauce is pre-made. I can enjoy this level of spice (medium+) but the flavor didn't come through, so kind of boring. Not a biggie, but It would have been nice to be on a plate with the rice rather than in a too small bowl (so hard to scoop out onto another little larger plate which was under the bowl). My friend had Pad Thai, again a very generous portion, yet just ok flavor. The wait staff were nice and attentive and the place is small and comfortable. read more

I probably just ordered the wrong thing. I was super excited about Thai brunch but none of their egg dishes were vegetarian. Could've/should've had the curry tofu. Talked to the waiter about it and decided to order the roti roll without the fried fish. Unfortunately, it didn't have much flavor. Just checked out this new place for takeout and it's so good! Sai Oua hit the spot for me. The flavors and spice were pretty solid. Pad Ped Moo Krob (spicy pork belly) was really delicious as well but I would suggest dining in to maximum crispiness! Can't wait to try the other dishes! read more

The staff are friendly and attentive; we ordered the house dumplings, crab fried rice and pad kee mao - EVERYthing tastes fresh and full of flavor and spice just how I like it. This place recently opened up and word is getting around this is a spot for authentic northern Thai cuisine. The dishes were flavorful and unique. I thought I knew what Thai food was, but this definitely had a home style comfort food taste to it that you just can't explain. We tried Kanoom Jeen Nam Ngew and Pad Ped Moo Krob, and they were tasty. Note: if you are sensitive to order spicy or not, the mild is already spicy as-is. So many more dishes to try, and Sistory has a repeat customer coming back soon. read more

I ordered a take out meal of fresh spring rolls and beef pad see ew. It was a Saturday night, not too busy around 9pm, and took about 15 minutes. The fresh spring rolls only came as a tofu option, unfortunately no shrimp. At $12 they're extremely pricey and very bland, I would not order them again. Meanwhile, the beef Pad See Ew was worth the hefty price tag of $18. There were an abundance of veggies, while the noodles and beef tasted of quality and very fresh. I generally have a hard time disliking pad see eew, but I would definitely say this one tasted a little more elevated than than what I've had on average. read more

After having lunch there, I can't help thinking that this place is overrated. (Maybe I shouldn't trust all the reviews by others?) I had a lunch set, which was over $20 before tax. (The regular price is $19.99, with extra charges for any non-vegetarian options.) The food was fine in the sense that it was comparable to the Thai food you may get from a food court near the Berkeley campus, but it wasn't special. The portion was certainly smaller than what you get at such food courts. This might be the reason why I was the only in-dining customer while I was eating there. The interior is cute but I'm not sure if their pricing is competitive for what they offer. Since there are many options for Thai food in the area, I may not be going back. read more
