This establishment is located on the second floor of a building right next to a shopping center. As a result, parking was easy and free in the lot next door, which is rare and awesome for NYC. Wendy, the owner, did my lashes, and they look great. I'm taking off 0.5 stars because I had one issue where some lashes were falling off from one of my eyes (even before I did any makeup). However, Wendy quickly, enthusiastically, and easily refilled them for me free of charge. I did cat eye c curl size 13. I definitely recommend this place Summary: 4.5 stars because lashes came off, but it was rectified quickly and the lashes look great.

I travel from Brooklyn to Queens for lash extensions. My first experience with Cozy this year was great, my cashmere lashes lasted at least 5 weeks even though I went to the beach and had gotten them wet/didn't take care of them. My next experience, I tried mink. I got a different tech and after two whole weeks, I barely have any left. Each day, so many lashes would fall off without my real lash hair attached, which means they probably didn't use enough glue or there was an issue with the glue that they used. Unfortunately, since these lash trips are quite the trek for me, I value consistency in all the techs. For Cozy to be a top tier lash place, all techs should have enough experience, so that even if I had to switch techs last minute, I would hope that whoever does it would produce the same results as long as they work for the same place. Cozy was really promising for me--it had every potential to be my go-to lash place. I hope that my honest review will have them consider making sure that their techs are consistently producing quality work, or for them to do quality checks on the glue that they use. Even though Cozy offered me a discount to get this fixed, which I highly appreciate, I just don't have the time to go back to them until 4 weeks later, when I expect to get a new set.

WOW! What a hidden gem in Whitestone…read more I have been getting my lashes done for awhile now but no place has blown me away like Bless Lash! Bless Lash is located in a plaza amongst a bunch of other stores but it was still easy to find. There's street parking and some parking spots in the plaza. I made an appointment for Thursday morning at 10am and was greeted by Hanna who was so welcoming and friendly. The place was extremely clean and smelled really nice inside. The atmosphere was so relaxing because of the music selection and how comfy the beds are. Hanna made sure I was comfortable before starting and even put a blanket over me. Unlike other lash places, this place has a leg rest for your feet which helped to eliminate any discomfort from laying flat on your back. And the best part?! They even have a massage option!! I opted for the 13mm, d curl, cat eye style and Hanna got right to work and finished in under an hour! When she was done she showed me how to brush out my lashes and gave me a zip lock baggie that contained care information and a lash brush. I am obsessed with how my lashes turned out and happy to have found my go-to spot for my lashes! 10/10 would recommend!

When I pick my beautician, one of the most important qualities is consultation. I told her what I want and Erica gave her opinion based on my eye shape and what my look could be afterwards. She has an eye for beauty! You can never go wrong with Erica. Also, her salon is THE ONLY place I go since that first visit. It's been over a year now and she is THAT GREAT! I came here on a whim as I walked past but soo much regret. Originally wanted to get my eyebrow threaded but forgot I already prepaid for an eyebrow threading card elsewhere so I switched to a manicure because I hate doing my own nails. Chose my colour and sat down.. the lady who did my nails did not want to do nails and you could tell. Whenever I walk into a nail salon, the host is very friendly, engages with you and talks to you about your day. Nope... not a single word out of this lady. She was a bit aggressive when she was filing my nails.. kinda pulled my hand like a mom pulling her kid to come this way. Like... you're in the service industry, what... Filing was not straight.. you can see that from my picture. I asked her to fix it because I could've done it myself if I wanted something so imperfect but I think she was annoyed.. she did cut my nails, filed, buffed, apply cuticle oil, cut my cuticle and gave me a small hand massage. Colour.. yikes.. the colour was sheer to the point where it doesn't look like I have anything on. I think she should've done at least 3-4 coats but only did two.. colours are suppose to be opaque but no.. I came home and luckily had a colour that was similar enough to paint on top. Overall, not returning for nails. Probably wouldn't even return for brows.. the place is tiny.. uncomfortably small but if you're really on a whim, give their threading a try as I do see a lot of people come in for that. Not recommended for nails.
