GIVE THEM A CHANCE! I was SO hesitant prior to my visit…read morebecause of all the horrific reviews but I had a great experience here. I visited Whitestone eyelash with almost a good amount of 4D-6D lashes left on my eyes (done at another salon). Their lash removal process was very quick, painless, and efficient. The male technician did a great job on not damaging my natural lashes. They charged me $20 for the removal which was very fair because I had quite a few lashes left. If you had less lashes, I believe the charge would be different. The male technician put silk lashes on me. J-curl, size 11, natural look per my request. He did a great job. It was quick, and he was gentle. Some lash places will rest their hand on your forehead while they apply lashes, but this technician was very gentle and I was comfortable the whole time. I've had mink lashes done for a long time, so initially I was hesitant to see my silk lashes. I felt like they were too light, and not dark enough but after sitting with it at home, I realized that my lashes feel very light on my eyes and I do like the job he did. There are a lot of harsh reviews on this business, but I think its due to the fact that there may be a language barrier. The technicians speak English, but there was one technician that translated what each customer wanted to the other technicians. I encourage you to try this place! I was worried at first but I'm really impressed by how gentle my technician was. I will definitely be making another appointment. Recommendations - If you like darker lash colors that make you look like you're wearing mascara, stick with mink lashes! Silk lashes are lighter in color. If you opt for silk lashes, you can get a longer size and maybe a cat eye for the wisp effect. My lashes are currently the natural look, j-curl size 11. Next time I will get the cat eye look, j curl size 12.

Since all my favorite lash extension salons either closed during covid or relocated to an area that…read moreonly has paid street parking, I was looking for a new spot closer to home. I decided on trying out Fay Lashes since it was only a 2-block walk from my apartment. I was thrilled after my first appointment for a new set, they really went above and beyond in making sure the style was exactly what I wanted and took care in giving me soft and voluminous lashes. Unfortunately, every other appointment over the next 6 months was a disappointment. At first, I expressed to them that the long inner corners were uncomfortable and poking my eyes, and requested they be shortened but they told me I had to buy a brand new set if I wanted that done - which, as you all know, is much more expensive than a routine fill appointment. Second, once you're done they make you hold the fan to dry the glue yourself and basically try to rush you out the door even if your eyes are still tearing from the fumes. Third, I started noticing that they began to use fewer but larger clusters of lashes at every fill, which creates the illusion of volume but leaves obvious gapping when one falls out a few days later from being too heavy for my natural lashes. It got so out of hand that I would be "done" in only 15 minutes when I know full well that a normal 3-week follow-up appointment takes at least 45 mins to an hour when applied correctly. I did not appreciate the shortcuts they were taking, so I took my business elsewhere.

She was super gentle and incredibly friendly. The entire process took about an hour, including a quick consultation to discuss the style I wanted. Pricing is pretty standard, but what really stood out to me were the comfy recliner chairs, seriously the most comfortable setup I've experienced at a lash studio. The space itself is bright, clean, and adorably styled. Since it was my first visit, I think I chose a lash style that's a bit more dramatic than I usually go for, but the set still turned out beautiful. I'll definitely be coming back, mostly because of the amazing chairs and Aimee's warm, welcoming vibe!

A simple, yet intimate atmosphere paired with a clean layout and soft lighting awaits you in this cozy beauty parlor. This business also offers a comprehensive website for aftercare and other inquiries, including a detailed price list! I scheduled my appointment for 10am this past Monday, and though I had train traffic, my technician Lia was very understanding as I kept her updated about my arrival. After climbing up to the third floor, I was greeted with a smile and gently ushered to her workspace. Though I wish there was a place to hang my coat, she allowed me to take my time to settle in before we began. Lia's consultation with me was concise and informative, explaining how the process would work, easing my nerves as she was aware it was my first time. The studio itself We settled on a natural finish, with the largest lash being 12mm. There isn't much to say about the process itself, as I ended up falling asleep halfway through the hour! I was able to listen to a podcast off my phone without any trouble, and even caught some of the alluring lullabies that play inside the studio. There was little to no pinching at all, marking up the reputation of the studio to the upmost expertise and quality of service. The session was over before I knew it (definite A+ on the speed) and Lia provided a cute mirror and handheld fan to view her work. The lashes were placed perfectly, and provided beautiful, yet subtle volume to my natural eyes to accentuate their look. No signs of redness or stinging at all: just a gorgeous, luxurious look. From this experience, I know what beauty sleep means now-- especially if I wake up looking prettier with a new set of lashes!

1 star Save your…read moremoney and your time. I was a returning customer at Dream Lash in Flushing, and after the quality of my last appointment and the way I was treated afterward, I would strongly advise going elsewhere. Their work was inconsistent throughout my visits. Sometimes it was good, other times disappointing. I rarely complained and kept giving them chances. At my last appointment, my freshly done lashes started falling out THE SAME DAY I left. Within two days, the fallout was terrible. Paying for lashes that barely make it home before they start falling out is frustrating enough. Having your concern dismissed makes it worse. I contacted them about the problem, but returning for a correction was not practical. This location is out of my way, and I have to clear my day for an appointment. Fixing disappointing work would mean giving up even more time for something that should have been done properly the first time. When I went to book my next appointment, I politely reminded the woman handling the calls and texts about what happened. Her response was to get defensive and tell me the technician had been there for years and was highly requested. That is not an explanation for poor work. I paid for a service, and the technician's reputation did absolutely nothing to keep my lashes from falling out. The way she addressed me over text was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. I should not have to argue about my own experience just because an employee does not want to hear criticism. If a business accepts your money, it should also be able to accept feedback without treating you like a nuisance. I was then told there were no appointments available. Yet when my friend called, suddenly there were openings. That left me seriously questioning the honesty of the explanation I had been given. What really cemented my decision to stop going was the change in her attitude after she learned that I do media and influencer work. Suddenly, she was interested in smoothing things over. To me, that felt like concern about public criticism rather than genuine concern about the service I received. Basic respect should not depend on whether a customer has an audience. Based on my experience, Dream Lash is not worth the money, the inconvenience, or the frustration. Inconsistent results, lashes falling out almost immediately, and a defensive response when you speak up are more than enough reasons for me to never return. I gave them repeated chances, and I regret it. I strongly recommend spending your money elsewhere.
