Literally half my lashes fell out less than a week later despite avoiding wetting them unnecessarily and not getting them wet at all within the first 24hrs, per usual. This has now happened at my last few appointments. I'm sad to say I feel like I need to find a new salon. That said everyone is really sweet and I hate to have to give negative feedback.

Bless Lash is located in a plaza amongst a bunch of other stores but it was still easy to find. There's street parking and some parking spots in the plaza. I made an appointment for Thursday morning at 10am and was greeted by Hanna who was so welcoming and friendly. The place was extremely clean and smelled really nice inside. The atmosphere was so relaxing because of the music selection and how comfy the beds are. Hanna made sure I was comfortable before starting and even put a blanket over me. Unlike other lash places, this place has a leg rest for your feet which helped to eliminate any discomfort from laying flat on your back. And the best part?! They even have a massage option!! I opted for the 13mm, d curl, cat eye style and Hanna got right to work and finished in under an hour! When she was done she showed me how to brush out my lashes and gave me a zip lock baggie that contained care information and a lash brush. I am obsessed with how my lashes turned out and happy to have found my go-to spot for my lashes! 10/10 would recommend!

I decided on trying out Fay Lashes since it was only a 2-block walk from my apartment. I was thrilled after my first appointment for a new set, they really went above and beyond in making sure the style was exactly what I wanted and took care in giving me soft and voluminous lashes. Unfortunately, every other appointment over the next 6 months was a disappointment. At first, I expressed to them that the long inner corners were uncomfortable and poking my eyes, and requested they be shortened but they told me I had to buy a brand new set if I wanted that done - which, as you all know, is much more expensive than a routine fill appointment. Second, once you're done they make you hold the fan to dry the glue yourself and basically try to rush you out the door even if your eyes are still tearing from the fumes. Third, I started noticing that they began to use fewer but larger clusters of lashes at every fill, which creates the illusion of volume but leaves obvious gapping when one falls out a few days later from being too heavy for my natural lashes. It got so out of hand that I would be "done" in only 15 minutes when I know full well that a normal 3-week follow-up appointment takes at least 45 mins to an hour when applied correctly. I did not appreciate the shortcuts they were taking, so I took my business elsewhere.
