There isn't really a system for ordering or receiving your food/drinks. It's kinda like when you go to a family's house and they're busy making sure all the food and drinks have enough love, so you gotta wait for them to do their thang and just quietly enjoy the process. The owner is suuuper kind and greets you as you enter and you can tell he really cares about his customers. He will let you know if he's busy and around how long to wait. I just gotta hand it to the owner, it sounds like he has a lot of regulars who come in for dosa, lentils, and chai. It smelled good every time he made some dosa! Masala chai: got mine with oat milk (he has to brew a new batch if you want a different milk), he usually uses half and half I believe for his chai. Love the spices! I like my chai pretty spicy and this is really good. He sells packs of loose chai so you can brew at home also Note: their masala chai is made with black tea and their pink chai is made with green tea and has pistachio Will come back to try the food and pink chai when it's not so poppin!

I drove to a nearby Ethiopian market but they were closed. So I called around and a restaurant/market was open. So, I ordered and picked up my food and it turned out that their market had closed down some time ago. I started to panic since I had gotten further from home but had set out to get some spices. So, I dove around the Ethiopian neighborhood hoping that a store would either have their door open or an "open" sign. But they were all closed. So, I tried calling around, and finally this store answered and I made my way there. I read out my list of spices to the lady, and she helped me obtain all of them. She was quite pleased that I had known all my spices and when I asked for the Kibbeh (Ethiopian spiced butter), she seemed reluctant, but I begged her saying that I don't know how to make it. So, she went and got a big jar from the fridge. I think it was her personal stash and not meant to be sold. Nevertheless, I was so happy, because I got everything on my list from one store which perhaps was the last Ethiopian market opened on an icy Seattle evening. It is unfortunate she had an unpleasant teenage son some years ago who was probably just immature and hopefully he had grown up by now or had moved away. The lady seemed down to earth and honest. I highly recommend that people shop there. Although I must say, it is a very small store so probably won't have everything beyond basic Ethiopian food supplies.

We almost never have this issue when buying directly from farmers' markets, so I'm convinced there's something wrong with how they store and handle their produce. Other reviews mention the same thing. They also replaced locally grown cilantro with cilantro grown in Mexico, without any note or explanation. Getting fresh, locally sourced food is literally the only reason we order from them. We had an order that was supposed to be delivered on Thanksgiving morning (that's what it said on their newsletter), but it arrived on Friday instead. When we contacted customer service, they gave defensive response that three minutes after we placed the order, the system updated to the "correct" delivery date, even though their newsletter said they don't deliver on that date. The response didn't actually address the lack of clarity about the delivery date. They even once included a slip of paper with someone else's name, phone number, and address. We're done with this place.
