If you're interested in the art of pole and have zero experience this is the place to start (: I was lucky enough to have started at Siren back when they opened in 2022, where my first class was with none other than Josh - the owner of this great establishment. It was an intro to pole class where we started out with a great warm up sesh that introduced us into holding the pole to stretch out our sides into a banana shape. We also did a good amount of yoga stretches on our mats and conditioning on the pole to prevent injury as pole can be strenuous on your body. When it came down to the pole moves, Josh was precise and steady when explaining the moves to our class. I appreciated how he was more than happy to demonstrate again when one of us asked and he went one-by-one to see how we recreated the move taught along with encouragement and feedback. This is a running theme with all the instructors at Siren as 6 poles in the studio makes it easier to focus on individuals in a smaller class. I remember not being able to hang from the pole with solely my arms, I felt discouraged for a sec but Josh looked at me and said its okay and all I need to do is to keep reinforcing this movement with consistency. The way he said that to me felt like I really could do it if i keep trying, so I did! I kept coming back to Siren Pole Dance and met many more great instructors that each have great tips and ways of educating people about pole. Not to mention the great community this studio has built with their members! I moved away from Covina where Siren was just a few minutes away, but I am always happy to come back to this studio along with their sister studio (Siren Aerial Fitness) whenever I get the chance. The studios keep their community engaged by holding local markets, pole parties, and special class workshops all announced on their socials. Again, if you have a feeling you want to give Pole a try, this is a wonderful place to start. Years into a corporate job made me feel stiff, but after these classes I felt fresh and more mobile! read more

Siren Pole Dance - Assisted head stand (per josh), don't forget to point :0 2-3 months into taking Pole (: - Pole Dancing Classes Near Me - Azusa, California

Y'all. This was my first time doing a pole class and it was so much fun. I took the INTRO class on Friday at 6pm with SUHA. No joke, I actually did a modified hand stand on the pole, and I've never done that before. But don't worry if you cannot! LOTS of modifications and the instructor does 1:1 to make sure you are safe. I felt welcomed and part of the community even before walking through that door. Long story short, my Bestfriend convinced me, so I signed up for the 3 classes $45 special. She talks about how amazing SUHA is, and I definitely agree. The women in the room cheer each other on, and are so funny. I felt like I was in a wellness retreat to be honest haha because the vibes were so great. First 30min you'd warm up like yoga and then you learn some tricks on the pole and floor. Tip: wear a sports bra and shorts because you won't be able to do much with leggings. I just want to share that I felt confident, sexy, and supported. Looking forward to my next class. Thank you! read more

I've been attending this studio on and off for a year and would recommend it to anyone trying to get more into fitness. Especially those who want to work on arm and core strength, and flexibility. Class booking is done via the Fit By Wit app. There are 6 poles in the studio so classes tend to book out. But sometimes there is a last min opening if you're on the waitlist. They will be starting a beginner to pole package soon, so I'm looking forward to that. read more

Josh (the owner) is the best beginner's teacher not just of pole but in the way he holds a safe space and gives so much more foundational knowledge than just moves. He and the space are also so supportive of the local community. It is one of those rare small businesses that feels more like a community. read more

Maybe it was the class and the teacher that day, but this studio isn't as welcoming to newcomers. I booked a beginner class, as I took half a year off pole, and the move we did was very difficult. It seemed like the teacher catered towards the regulars who were clearly advanced. As the class of regulars and teacher joked around, it felt pretty isolating and didn't get much help. Weird vibe read more

I've been going to pole classes at Siren for about 2 months now and I love it! The instructors are very accommodating and kind and everyone is so supportive and feels so safe here! Classes are small and you learn and practice around 3-4 moves per class! Would definitely recommend to anyone who is interested in trying pole out! You will get better and it's very empowering! read more

If you are reading this review, this is your sign to come try out this studio!!! I have legit stopped going to the gym and just started coming here for my workouts instead. I absolutely love this studio and everyone in it. The owner, the instructors and all the people. This studio and the people in it make you feel welcome. I'm so happy to have found this studio. They also let you rent out the studio!! A couple of people who I met here rented out the studio and we just ate and drank and it was overall a really good time. I definitely would recommend this place and would give them more stars if I could!! I have taken a couple of classes with Josh (the owner) and the first time I took my class with him, you can tell that he's super passionate about pole and he really takes care of you. Making sure you are warmed up and he also does a really good job teaching you. His classes pretty much go the same rate as most pole studios, EXCEPT that he actually lets you get an unlimited pass which I think is super awesome. I've gone to a couple of other studios but this is definitely my home studio Also, shoutout to Amaris for being amazing. I usually go to her morning classes because they work for me but i've seen her teach many new people and you know she's good because everyone learns differently and she is always able to cater to each individual person!! read more

The instructors are AMAZING here! The environment is super supportive and everyone that attends is really nice. This is your sign to stop holding off learning how to pole and to sign up for the intro package now. read more

highly recommend if youre looking to try something new! took a pole and a mat pilates class here and both were so fun! service was awesome!

Whether you are just learning or have some pole experience this is the studio to go to. Josh is the owner and a instructor, I followed him here from fine yoga fit in El Monte, he is one of my favorite instructors so I followed him to his new studio. I learn a lot from josh and he breaks down the move step by step so I can really understand and get the moves. He has a bubbly personality and makes you feel very comfortable and welcome. He really takes time for his students and is very encouraging and thorough. He takes notes of all the students and what they want to learn and etc. This studio is fully equipped with 6 poles, alcohol and towels for every student, pole crash mat. There are curtains so it's private and you don't need to worry about perverts trying to peek in. It is very spacious and you don't need to worry about kicking the next person on the next pole. They have a variety of classes ranging from pole classes to hoop. This studio is designed for every skill level! read more

This review is long overdue. If I could give more than 5 stars for Siren Pole Dance, I would! Been coming here for about 5 months. I was very hesitant in starting my pole journey, but so glad I did. If you're reading this, this is your sign to just do it and show up, you wont regret! Prices are so affordable compared to other studios in my opinion. Studio is nice and clean, the owner is amazing and understanding, all the instructors are SO GREAT! They adjust their lessons based on your level, so yes, this studio is for everyone! The environment is so welcoming! I like to describe this studio as a "no judge zone" space and a safe space. I'm so glad I came across this studio and definitely will be continuing my pole journey here! read more

After trying out a few studios, Siren is my favorite by far. I am new to pole and have loved the community and how beginner friendly this studio is. With the smaller class size, I am able to get personalized feedback from the instructor every class. They will modify the combos for me if it's too advanced or if they feel like I can progress beyond the basic combo. Highly recommend taking an intro or beginner class with Josh for those who are newer to pole! read more

Took my first beginner pole class recently at Siren and it was lots of fun! It's been something I've always wanted to try for a while now and finally did. Instructor Josh is the sweetest person, patient and very helpful. He took his time going step by step with me, helping me along the way if I was having any trouble. I learned some cool moves and I am looking forward to my next class and improving my pole dancing skills, can't wait ! read more

A friend has been with Siren for over a year and invited me to join. I was hooked right away! The studio is a bit far for me, but it is worth it for the quality of the coaches and the diversity in the folks I have met in every class. Everyone has been extremely welcoming and helpful and I truly appreciate the work the owner has done to make it an inclusive safe space for all. Whether you're new to fitness or a seasoned athlete, you will move parts of your body you didn't know existed, learn new things, and have a blast. read more

This review is OVERDUE. This is my first pole studio and been going for almost a year now. This studio has amazing instructors and they are very knowledgeable! I love what this studio offers! It's a place where you can step out of your comfort zone and feel supported and surrounded with like minded people. Definitely a non judgement zone. Pole Dance has peaked my interest for years, and one random day I decided to search nearby classes. Siren Pole Dance was the first studio to pop up on my Google and I am so glad it did. I popped into a class for the first time and everyone was so warm and welcoming. I came in with no experience, but the instructors have always been willing and eager to meet me where I am at. I definitely recommend this studio! read more

Got an ad for this studio when I was considering taking a pole class...I was understandably nervous but figured I could take one class to try it out. That was back in November and I haven't looked back since. Everyone including the instructors is so supportive and sweet during the sessions. It's become my favorite weekly self care activity and what I think sets Siren apart from other studios is how inclusive they are. They're also always hosting fun events and new classes to teach new skills like hula hoops and shibari. I'm so glad I found this studio and am excited to see them continue expanding in the future. read more

Welcoming, fun, great workout and just all around a great experience! I've been to another studio and this one is a lot more upbeat and comfortable. Highly recommend! read more

Pole dancing has always been something on my bucket list that seemed inaccesible and unlikely to me. So grateful that this studio came to Azusa and it's coming to fruition. The customer experience with the owner Josh is incredible. He goes above and beyond to answer questions and make sure customers feel supported throughout their journeys. He makes the space feel safe and speaks to you like an old friend. Instructor Amaris breaks movements down and explains the why of hand positions, etc. She listens, responds to everyone's individual needs even within a group session, and makes all participants feel confortable. Excited to continue the journey here! read more

I found this place exactly on July 31, 2022 and I've stayed with Siren ever since! Josh, the owner of the studio, is one of the most beautiful souls you'll ever meet. I really consider Siren my second home. I fell deep in love with pole and I am so grateful to have this practice in my life. I feel so much stronger and doing pole has really toned my body A LOT. I've done moves that I thought I was never capable of doing and having this hobby did wonders for my mental health. All the instructors are amazing and the whole community is so accepting and encouraging. This is your sign to finally get over your fears and schedule that first class! We all started thinking we "don't have enough strength" for pole and we "don't know how to dance" but everyone eventually makes so much progress because they have so much fun doing it! It never feels like a chore like how regular workouts make you feel sometimes. We come in all shapes and sizes and EVERYONE is welcome to pole (mom of 3 little ones here). There is absolutely no judgement in the studio. The people at Siren are the most supportive group of people you'll meet. Love you Josh and everyone at the studio! read more

Most amazing pole studio, the instructors are amazing and the owner is AWSOME! There is a wide variety of classes for everyone. The intro deal was how I started and I've been hooked ever since! read more

Josh is the biggest sweetheart and an encouraging instructor / owner. Anyone is welcome at this studio and there is a diverse range of friendly people who come to the classes. I have not felt so welcome at other studios I've been to. At Siren, when someone nails a trick everyone claps and when you're trying your best but not getting it, the entire class is supportive. At other studios the vibe is very judgy and competitive and I left feeling like yes I learned something, but I didn't have fun and no one laughed, joked or smiled. I highly recommend the parties / events too- they are so fun! read more

I LOVE Siren! First, if you have not yet tried pole dancing, this is a great place to get started. I have taken every instructor currently here and each one is uniquely AMAZING. Each class is small, so you get individual attention. I also appreciate the openness and camaraderie. This is a community that you can be yourself and also empowers you to hone in on your energy. Siren has created a supportive space to feel lively in this movement expression. I appreciate how Josh (the owner) has achieved a vision and hope you can be a part of it too! read more

I love taking classes at Siren! I had wanted to take pole dancing classes for years, but I never found a studio with reasonable class prices, until I found Siren! Their new members deal is so good, you can't pass on it! I have been dancing here for less than a year and I have already advanced into an intermediate level. I love all the instructors and I feel I have gotten so much stronger physically and mentally. I have learned to push my body to its limits and have learned to become more comfortable in my own skin. Pole dancing is a real sport that requires a lot of patience and strength, but all the instructors here are so knowledgeable, they know exactly how to guide you to your goals. I would 100000% recommend this studio to anyone that is looking for a fun way to work out and to anyone who is looking to (re)discover their sexy/sensual side! Additionally, they have super fun choreo classes, great workshops, and lit events for all people at all levels! Siren is the place to be! read more

I absolutely love Siren! All of the instructors are so talented and encouraging, and I've had a great time at every class I've gone to!

I took my first intro to pole class tonight and it was 10/10! The studio was super clean and all about sanitizing. Also, I was extremely nervous because it was my first time and taking a class by myself. However, the instructor who subbed in (I believe her name was Josephine. I'm so bad with names) but anyway she was a sweetheart!! I feel like I learned so much from her in just an hour. She was so great and thorough at explaining things and demonstrating. I walked out feeling confident and it was such a great workout. Plus the other gals in the class were sooo nice and encouraging. I would highly recommend going here if it's your first time! I am definitely planning on purchasing more classes. Thanks Siren Pole! read more
