Sir Galloway (Pinecrest) is the one and only cleaners I trust, and I learned the hard way. I made the mistake and used another cleaners closer to our home in Pembroke Pines for my husband's military white shirt. However, it came back with the 2 shoulder board buttons cracked, crumbling, and both missing their halves (basically 2 whole buttons came back as 2 half buttons); tiny black dots on the front chest (not there before); and collar and sleeves were unusually crimped/pinched in a pernament setting in random spots. I was mortified due to this shirt being the only military white my husband had and needed to wear for an occasion at work. I rushed it to Sir Galloway (Pinecrest), which is 35mins away the next day. MARIAN SAVED THE DAY! She is the best - professional, friendly, considerate, human, and competent - all rolled into one! Long story long, the shirt came back RENEWED with both buttons matched and replaced, spots gone, and random weird crimps gone. She delivered excellent service with a smile, as I would want from my cleaner. Yes, you pay a little more because it is completely worth the job done right. This cleaner at this location where Marian works is the most RELIABLE one; you will not regret it. The dry cleaning itself was certainly fine,ready on time, etc. However, their base price for clothing is similar or slightly higher than most other cleaners. They then add what, to me, are exorbitant amounts. For example a men's suit is six dollars more because it is a wool blend.(Not silk,linen, or a designer brand). The worst was a simple sheath dress of a rayon blend- no buttons,zippers,trim,definitely not designer- being upgraded to over thirty dollars because of the "material". I could not get any further explanation. The dress itself was only 60-70 dollars to purchase. This is double what my last cleaners charged for the same item. Told them I wouldn't be back after questioning cost, they didn't seem concerned. If you use this location ask for a price FIRST. read more

If you have any expensive designer suits or other clothing, they will take extra care to ensure your clothing is not damaged. This is the best dry cleaner in town, I've never seen service like this. I started using their service because they have a drive through window, which is very convenient as it seems I am always too busy to drop off or pickup my laundry. With the drive through I don't have to worry about wasting an extra minute. Every single employee that has greeted me here has been extremely nice, and they do remember your name and keep a record of how you like things done so you save even more time. Also the location is very convenient, right on US1. Every other business owner should take a hint from the way this place is run. Very professional service and the clothes are always impeccable. The only con is their price is higher than other places I've seen but other places have not done a great job with my clothes so I guess you get what you pay for. read more

Marian at Sir Galloway Dry Cleaners at 105 St and US1 in Pinecrest is literally an angel, and here's why: I have been using this dry cleaner for years. I love them! Marian and Sarah, her coworker, are always happy, lovely and inspiring - and my clothes are always cleaned to perfection. Moreover, my kids adore them. So when my daughter needed her "lovey" blanket's seam fixed, we took it to them. One day I got a call from Marian and she was crying. The blanket was lost in their warehouse. I could barely understand her because she was so upset. Of course I was disappointed but I knew it would turn up. I also felt terrible for Marian - she was so upset and I knew it was an accident. She took it personally though, and for the next 6 weeks she called me every week with updates and to let me know she was praying it would show up. I appreciated it so much. This past Tuesday I pulled into the drive through for a pick up/drop off. She said - wait! I have something for you!! She returned with a blanket. A blanket she had personally knitted for my daughter. I was stunned! Speechless!! I am still in awe! Her unbelievable act of kindness, sincerity and love will never be forgotten. I have never written a review before in my life but this experience had to be shared with others. Marian is a legend in my eyes - I am not only grateful to have Sir Galloway for the amazing dry cleaner that it is, but also for Marian who goes above and beyond for her customers and truly gives her heart to everyone everyday. MUCH better quality than almost anyone else; MUCH higher prices than almost everywhere else. Break a button on a shirt cuff? Sir Galloway will find it and fix it before you notice it & without telling them; most everywhere else, you discover the almost--or totally--broken button the hard way---when you put the garment on and discover you can't wear it. Quality here is very good, across the board---as are the high prices...but sad news...if you bring in a high end item...they will charge you even more, especially when it comes to men's suits & sport-coats. IMHO, it does not make economic sense to bring them a sturdy, all cotton Brooks Brothers men's dress shirt (it can well survive a mediocre cleaner who charges 50-70% less) but a delicate Hermes tie or Brioni suit really should only come here. Top notch staff in stores & in their plant. On the extremely rare occasion that they truly damage a garment, they will take care of giving you the $ adjustment you deserve without a battle. Not sure you truly get what you pay for here (some of their services are so much higher priced than an average cleaner---I only bring 'em the very good stuff) but all of your clothes would thank you if they could. Highly recommended as long as your wallet or purse is big & fat. read more
