I will drive extra to avoid this one though! They are complete scammers! One time the pump malfunctioned twice as I was filling up. The manager came out, realized the pump was broken and had me move to a new pump. He offered me 2 free car washes for the trouble. When I went to use them (within a week) the codes wouldn't work. The clerk working said is have to talk to the manger, who conveniently wouldn't be back on for a few days. Today I was there again - at the same pump I had trouble with months ago. I KNOW I pushed "regular" because I'm always very cautious about this. Halfway through I realized it was "premium". I went in to tell them and the clerk rudely said "nothing I can do". They also wouldn't honor my gas discount card. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I will literally drive out of my way to avoid these scammers.

Their customer service has never been great as they normally don't sit out in the business but I'm their house and come out when they have people come. Normally this would mean I would have to wait a few minutes for them to slowly trot out and be inconvenienced but today they just decided not to come out and let me sit there for 15 minutes with no help. So I had to leave with no propane and now have to find another place to fill my tanks.

I called earlier in the day to get the current price for a refill as they had raised their price over the winter. The cost was $14.55 for a 20 pound propane refill. I had a $2 off coupon from the Anoka County Shopper that they would not honor. It was their coupon, but the price was the same with or without the coupon, which to me means false advertising. When I asked to speak to the owner, I was told I need to call back at 8 AM and I may or may not catch him. To me this is totally unacceptable and a lousy business practice. As a followup to this, I did follow up with a representative of the company and they helped set things straight. They have adjusted their coupon in the Anoka County Shopper and have also talked with their staff. I will certainly be returning my business to them and would have given them a 5, but I did start this out as a complaint, so 4 stars it is.

Letting them know someone had "trespassed". In my defense... it's not like I walked in to a roped off area or closed door! To me, a customer, it just looked like another aisle! I was standing in front of this aisle of snacks & a few shovels....thinking I could use my coupon for a shovel. Once the employee appeared, I had him give me a price for the shovel, I moved on. The coupon was $10 off $20... I found two $9.99 window plastics.... as I made my way to the register mentally trying to think of what I will find to put me at or above the needed $... Thank you! The cashier gave me a $10.79 total and I was on my way! Thank you Ace for the friendly service. You are my closest hardware store so I now know where is the employees only section to not cross in to. What a trash company. Last spring I was supposed to get propane on the 18th and I waited home all…read moreday with the money, nobody showed. On the 27th I got a call from a driver while I was at work saying he was stuck in my driveway. When I got home my driveway was destroyed and my shovel and rake were left in it. I called to get propane the next day and they wanted to charge me a $40 delivery fee. I talked to the manager and he said somebody would come fill the holes in but that never happened so I had to take care of it and had to have gravel hauled in. Now today for the second time I sat at home all day waiting for propane that didn't come. Sick of the lies and extra fees when in reality they owe me money
